Flesh and Spiritual Divide

Galatians 5:16-17 (ESV)
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

*Have u ever heard someone say or had a feeling that u aren't suppose to be doing something, but u desire to do it anyway? That would be one of many arguments that are provoked by the division between the flesh and Spirit. Due to the nature of sin and death, our flesh is drawn to things that are forbidden, the ones that go against the grain, or are just down right sinful in nature. The present desire and feeling of it is good, but the consequences reek havoc on us later. This is a well-rounded feeling for anything bad be it sin, bad eating, a poor mindset, or just a bad thought in general...it is the nature of the beast that draws to curiosity, which can truly kill the cat. Yet, praise God for our Spirit that has the ability to choose self-control, protection, and worse case scenario the ability to seek forgiveness and redemption. However, following God keeps us from stumbling and going through unnecessary hardships that may lead to a lifetime consequence. So, before u act u should think before u do...measure your thoughts with your intuition better known as your guidance from the Holy Spirit. Then ask yourself if it is really worth it...Is it, even if u know what God promised u? U are with the wait, and the wait is worth being in God's perfect will. Time is winding up with all that is happening in the world. Wouldn't u rather be on the right side of the tracks just to be sure?
