Temptation vs God's Will

James 1:13-14

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.

*Temptation is in the mind of the beholder...God is never tempting u, and no one can "try u" or "test your inner gangster" unless u allow them to. Whenever u feel tempted, it is often your inner most desires that are coming out and trying to push u to find a quicker way to satisfy that need or want. Consider it a test of your will power, which is often one of the hardest test to pass. However, greater is He that lives on the inside of u then the adversity that wants to manifest within. We just have to ask ourselves if the temptation that we feel, long for, or crave lines up with the will of God for your life or with His word. In being transparent, I have longed to leave GA and explore a new state...the devil tempts with financial means to get me out of my current state, and pokes at that longing for financial overflow and stability. However, I have to ask myself if that opportunity is really a gain or a guarantee that will get me out of His will. I know it can become hard sometimes and u long for fulfilment and gain, but are u really going to gain if u lose everything in the end from being outside of His will?

Season of Sincerity

Ephesians 4:1-3

1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

*We are called for many unique purposes in God's kingdom, but one of our more unified callings is to be our brother and sister's keeper. "Keeping" refers to sincerely having their back when needed be it for a good or bad situation. Also, providing anything that u can from simply a listening ear to a more tangible item if prompted by God to do so. Being gentle always  softens the heart and soothes the soul. U never know what a person is going through, and of course u know that u can win more flies with honey then u can with vinegar. So, even in correction u must walk in love. Think of how u would want to be treated in any given circumstance. Think of what aggravates u, what may come off as confusing or rude, or how u have wanted someone to be concerned just to know that someone cares. Now exercise the positivity of how to handle those situations towards those around u. It gives them peace and courage to know that in such a cold world, there is someone who can be SINCERELY loving...not just doing it begrudgingly because it feels like u have to because if that is your reasoning, then it is best if u didn't do it at all. God wants us to freely give tangible items to Him...how much more do u think He expects us to emphasize love, especially since He first loved us while we were in sin. This holiday season, think beyond yourself and your needs to FEEL the needs of someone else. Now exercise that feeling through love...u never know who is secretly in need of gentleness and crying out to u for it. U may be there last hope...

Thankful Thoughts

Matt. 5:5
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

*As u enjoy food, family, friends and/or quiet time, take one moment out of your festive day not to just thank God and reflect on your own blessings, but ask the Father to bless others as well. There are some who are better of then us this morning, but there are many who are a lot worse. Don't just count your own blessings, but reflect on ways to use those blessings to help someone else. Remember, being blessed goes beyond u...we are attached to others, and have the power to make a difference if we humble ourselves to God's guidance. This in turn not only helps others, but will impact the success of your future as well... Happy Thanksgiving. Eat a little something in dedication to all of us. ;-)

Thanksgiving

He deserves all the glory and all the praise because He will never leave you nor forsake you. Praise Him for what He has brought u through, and for what He is going to do!

The Author of Clarity

1 Corinthians 14:33
King James Version (KJV)
For God is not the author of
confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

*Every blessing from God is given through a smooth transition, and there is direction that comes with it on how to obtain it. How we take the direction, if we choose to follow it, and how we handle the direction and blessing determines if we receive that peace God promises us. God is not in the mode to make your life harder, nor does he set out to use gastepo tactics to give u added pressure. He is in the blessing business, but of course it requires obedience and submission. How we handle this period of edification often determines the smoothness of the transition. Don't beat yourself up if u have adjustment issues bc God is there to help u, but don't get these issues mixed up with confusion or whether or not He loves and cares about your needs either. Despite what ppl may believe, He cares about the least of things to greatest...He cares if u are being tempted to larger issues like if u are homeless. No problem is to big or small for Him to handle; therefore, He has no need to confuse u by picking or choosing what He is concerned about in our daily lives, or how u will be blessed to get over these things. Remember that things from God can't produce a negative and a positive at the same time. For example, someone who is a true friend cannot love and judge u at the same time constantly, otherwise u may want to review the friendship. Also, remember, things that are confusing or cause u to think twice may not be from Him...so, pray for discernment and receive your clarity.

Transparency Moment

Have you ever looked at other people and admired their situations, desired their blessing, and longed for your own situation to change? I know I have...I have even wondered if I had done something wrong or missed a window of opportunity because a person was able to receive the very blessing that I wanted at a quicker rate. Now, no one ever knows what people have truly and completely gone through to obtain their blessing...better yet, perhaps what you are viewing may not be an actually blessing at all. BUT, for whatever reason you just wished something positive would happen for you or turn in your favor. I understand and know how you feel.

I am currently in faith regarding the obtainment of not just any job, but the correct career move that will satisfy my heart and steer me on the correct financial path; I am believing God for my mate and working on wrapping my head around the fact that a man could exist that understands my way of thinking; and I am believing for a complete turn around in my family and friend connections...the desire for true love and connections that are not just based on selfishness or when someone wants something. Believe with me that God can turn our bad into a good, our confusion into clarity, and our desires into actualities. For faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1). Have faith, my friends, that the desires of your heart will be met (Psalms 37:3), and let's work together on remembering and trusting that God is not a man that promotes lies..He keeps His promises forevermore (Numbers 23:19).

Strength

If u fit this description, it says a lot about u.

The Insecurities of Judgment

Matt. 7:1
“Judge not, that you be not judged.

*Always remember that when u point a finger to judge someone else, u have three pointing back at u. The act of judgment is just the display of an insecure person who is trying to shift the spotlight of persecution off of themselves. Fix your issues before you try to fix someone else's. Remember, it is hard to take care of your own home when u consistently visiting and evaluating someone else's ...

Wisdom's Clarification

James 1:5-6

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him
ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with
no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

*Have u ever felt as though you aren't at the level that u should be at in your life? Perhaps u had plans to be further along, more established, more successful, married, have children, or have whatever your heart desired by a certain age or time. Or, perhaps u feel like every time u try to get ahead here comes something to hold u back. Perhaps it is time to ask God for wisdom on how to reach your goal, obtain information, or just on how to go outside your normal routine. The thief comes to stall and steal these ideas from u, but God wants us to have life more abundantly (John 10:10). Therefore, lengthy hold-ups, blockades, or long periods of stalling should not endure for more then a season. U can be aware of how long that season will last ,(Habakkuk 2:1-3), if you just ask God for wisdom on the subject that pulls on your heart. Be prepared for the answer, but know whatever is said is for your good and will provide u with peace and favor. Please, pray for my obtainment of more wisdom as I will do for your sake.

The Ability to Love

Matt. 22:37-39
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

*One of the amazing things about love is that it is a free gift...a gift that has the power to warm the heart and change even the coldest individual. Loving God, ppl, and yourself, are mentioned several times throughout the Bible. Do u know why? It is bc it is one of the most important entities that helps us survive. God knows we need love to keep us going, and help us overcome the cares and bitterness of the world. Most importantly, loving someone is an act of faith that opens the door of trust. By opening your heart to not just love, but be loved, u are allowing the protection layers of what u have gone through in life to come off in order to let healing and rebuilding begin. Now, imagine if u open your heart up completely to the Lord...He is waiting to love u, heal you emotionally, and bring you affirmations of love to show how much he appreciates your faith and ability to trust Him.

Notice the order of love in the scripture: We have to first love Him completely before we are able to truly love anyone else. Love God in order to not just love others, but to truly embrace and love yourself. U need confidence to love others, and God is the first that can assist u with this process. Plus, u never know what a person is going through, and who is waiting on u to open up in order to receive your love today...it could be your mate, family, friends, or someone u don't even know. Your life is not your own...u are attached to someone, so love, let go, and live.

A Hopeful Win

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

*No matter what u are going through, when life gives u a curve ball, you have Christ on the inside of u that can give u strength to knock it out of the park. It doesn't matter what the score is (how often this issue has occurred), what the opposing team says about your situation (those who speak negativity or do not breathe words of life over u), or how many times u have struck out (failed this test before): U still have the power to win the game by allowing God to change your mindset, and giving u the ability break the tie to pull through and win the game of life! Fill yourself with peace in knowing that God is on your team with supernatural capabilities. Rejoice in your current state, and already see yourself making a home run. You have to see yourself obtaining victory daily to activate your faith and have hope that things will change. U are on the winning team! Don't freak out and never trade sides! At the end of the day, no matter how much power (fun) the other team may be having, u will have the final victory in life bc every knee shall bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord. May u make the choice to proclaim this, and not be forced in the end. Have hope during your battles to win this war!

You are What You Speak

Romans 12:21

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but
overcome evil with good.

*Many ppl give in to evil, even if they are unaware of their acceptance for it. For example, everytime we tell ourselves that we are just human and are going to make mistakes, that's opening the door for the acceptance of making more mistakes in the future in that same area. Now, this is not to say that we are perfect, but your words are promoting future failure rather than just giving it your all and allowing God to naturally catch u when u fall...Don't promote the fall, and then continuously be surprised when it happens. (Trust me, I've done this too.) Even the admiration of evil or wrong doing is being accepting towards it. For instance, if u admire a star for having a baby out of wedlock, applauding a person who went off on someone, or admiring someone who promotes sex and/or negativity is the ability to be overcome by evil. Instead of falling in line with everyone else's acknowledgments, let's overshadow them with the promotion of good, the acceptance of what's right, and the desire to fill ourselves with Godliness...They say u are what u eat. God says u are what u speak...enjoy your Saturday!

Victory is Mine

1 Corinthians
15:57 King James Version (KJV)

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.

*Jesus died on the cross for all of sins; he was tempted on earth and went through transgressions in order to provide us with the ultimate example of how to handle an issue; and by His stripes that He suffered and endured we are healed not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and mentally as well. Therefore, we are fully equipped with the armor of Christ for any given situation, especially since he knows your strength and won't put more on you then u can bare. We just have to figure out how to obtain our personal victory by establishing a relationship with Him and asking for guidance. There is a master plan to what we may feel is madness, annoying, or unnecessary. U may even have the wrong perception of what u are enduring, but you won't know until u consult with Him and ask Him on how to obtain your victory. However,be ready to receive the answer of what u ask. U may very well receive a surprise, but know that it is the answer that will take u to a better phase of your life. Enjoy your weekend.

Revamp, Reshape, Re-do

Greater is Coming

1 Peter 4:16

16 Yet if anyone suffers as a
Christian, let him not be ashamed,
but let him glorify God in that name.

*As a Christian, we sometimes become embarrassed if we experience adversity. We may become embarrassed if we go through divorce, are jobless, if our accounts are not as we want them, are single, or not living the "fairytale" life that the world tends to place on those who are believers. However, this doesn't mean something is wrong with you. The chastisement is a test of your faith; your trial is a test of your faith; and how you act when going through it is also a test of your faith. As a friend has said, your altitude is determined by your attitude...so be positive, prayerful, and strong. That's not to say we don't have our emotional moments...I am definitely a witness of that...but, don't feel embarrassed if u go through things as a believer. Always believe that the bigger the adversity, the bigger the blessing. Let's keep each other uplifted.

A Distraction in Disguise

John 8:32

32 “And you will know the truth, and
the truth will set you free.”

*Sometimes it is not exactly easy to know or accept what's true, especially when it feels so right or you are in a tight place and need something. You may see an opportunity, assistance being offered, a connection that is made, or a gift that is provided as being a blessing or something that came right on time. However, that very thing could be something that is just pleasing to the flesh, will do until u can find better, or just serves as a flat out distraction that deters you from the real McCoy bka His perfect will. Pray to God to give u the truth behind everything and be anxious for nothing...the truth will set u free bc u will be open to receive what u truly are suppose to have, and not settle just for whatever u can get...

Don't Judge a Gift By Its Cover

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

*Never limit God capabilities by only seeing things how u think they should go...Sometimes we anticipate that a blessing will only come in one form. We believe that if it doesn't take on that form or doesn't present itself as a certain opportunity, then it may not be for us. However, sometimes the greatest packages come in the most simplistic gift bags. A person may also believe that they aren't worthy of lavish details, so they look for a blander formation of the desire of their heart. However, God loves u enough to give u the best he has to offer, which may very well come in Chanel or Prada wrapping. The point is that God is strategic in His thinking, and that he is capable of seeing and providing different avenues for your blessing or breakthrough beyond what u can imagine. However, u must be susceptible to His different methods. You must also humble yourself to accept them, and not be objective if they aren't created for your understanding...He wants to blow your mind...not just provide u with the norm. Don't miss out bc u couldn't figure it out...

The Beauty of God's Promises

Isaiah 52:7

7 How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good
news,
who publishes peace, who brings
good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

*Many ppl have the blues on Monday because it's time to go back to work, and their fun-filled weekend or relaxation time is over. However, everyday should be a day of giving thanks for waking up, counting your blessings, and being in expectation that the desires of your heart will be fulfilled today. How can you do that if u fall into the norm of sulking like everyone else? If u believe in the word and are doers of it, there should not be any sulking...u should maintain the joy of knowing that your blessing of relief is on its way, and have faith in the seeds that u have sown knowing that growth and harvesting are about to occur. If u haven't sown any seeds or need a pick-me-up of faith, know that it is never too late to start sowing...be it spreading the word, helping someone, paying tithes and offering, and sowing within yourself to cut out a bad habit or pray on an opportunity that will open doors for not just u, but others as well. Everyday is a day of good news when u believe in God and are obedient to Him bc He will never leave u or forsake u, and His word never comes back voided. Make it a great day!

Seeds Feed

It's always a blessing to see ppl supporting one another and sowing seeds of love...imagine what the harvest will look like...now imagine how annoyed the devil becomes based off of how many ppl u can feed with your crop! Love it!

Your Life is Not Your Own

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Or do you not know that your
body is a temple of the Holy Spirit
within you, whom you have from
God? You are not your own, 20 for
you were bought with a price. So
glorify God in your body.

*Your body is precious...it is the home of your spirit and inhabited by your Father in heaven bc u are created in His image. Therefore, since u were created by the The Most Divine and u have such a precious jewel that lives within u, u should recognize your worth and adhere to maintaining it. Don't inhabit your body with filth from the entertainment industry if it is tampering with your spirit, food that cuts your precious life span short, and things that altar your ability to make sound decisions and spirit filled judgment calls. All those are distraction that were designed for imprisonment, causing limitation on your potential, hinder your capabilities, and redirecting your focus to something that never required your attention. Treat yourself and your environment around u the way God views u: as a beautiful creation that He ordained to be His greatest masterpiece.  How can we love our neighbor as ourselves and bring spirits to Christ or receive all that God has for us if we can't even respect ourselves? U are so beautiful/handsome/gifted/courageous...don't pollute yourself with ppl and things that state otherwise, and do not fade into the crowd "normalcy"...let your light shine outwardly to reflect who u are destined to be within. Love u!

Submission

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to
God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you.

*Looks like the topic of submission has been making its appearance known lately, especially for those of u that have been in attendance at Faith Christian Center (FCC) in Smyrna, GA. With submission comes order...order that is not necessarily showing u your place in the scheme of things, but providing u with guidance on how to humble yourself in order to receive and know how to handle something greater then where u currently are in life. U can even think of submission as a way for u to learn to exercise the treatment or respect that u wish to receive in the future. By subemitting to God, u allow Him intervene in your current situation and guide u to a place/person/ process that u were incapable of receiving or achieving by leaning to your own understanding. Submission is often a learning mechanism that is used to teach u how to operate and function in a circumstance thus providing stability;it allows u to be more susceptible to the ideas of someone else, particularly God who does not have the same thought process as u and wants u to have greater; and gives u a broader perspective beyond the limitation that the devil tries to bestow on u. Open yourself up to submission in order to open the door of opportunity, and receive all that God has for u. Remember the three O's to help u obtain your blessing: Openness, Order, & Opportunity...Enjoy your day. ;-)

It's All About Faith

A Full Circle of Completion

Philippians 1:6

6 And I am sure of this, that he who
began a good work in you will bring
it to completion at the day of Jesus
Christ.

*When God makes a promise, gives u a talent, establishes a covenant, or guarantees something, he does not forget about it. You will not be left out or not provided with instructions. God will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what it feels or looks like. The current is a test of faith, a push towards prayer, and the combo of the two helps to finish what God started in u. We just have to do our part to activate the rest. Through faith, prayer, and believing in the connection u have with God, u will know that special feeling or sign God gives u when u need direction, or are determining if u have peace about a situation or connection. I pray we all receive that peace that passes all understanding; I believe in the ability of his will being done in your life; and that every talent, idea, desire, and purpose will fully develop and clarity is provided on how to achieve or utilize your gifts.

Supernatural Strength

Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all things through him
who strengthens me.

*Our strength does not solely lie in how we feel, what we put in our bodies, the type of exercise plan we implement, or the support we have on a daily basis...it lies within our capability to activate our spiritual strength and look to God for our daily vitamin C, (better known as instructions), on how to carry out a plan of action or just how to conduct ourselves in general. With God, u are stronger then u believe...u are capable of withstanding things that would have tempted u in the past; u are more then a conqueror when it comes to facing trials; and u are incapable of failure when u look to the hills from where your help comes from, which is completely from God. As I go through trials and face some of the same test from past experiences, I am amazed how calm I feel, how I am capable of resisting negative alternatives, and how I refuse to settle. U too have that same power, and have probably executed this lifestyle more than u think. Sure, we have our moments of veering to the left or maybe peaking over the fence, but be proud of yourself for having those "it ain't worth it" realizations. Sisters and brothers, friends and family be strong and know u are more then what the world says u are...your value is more precious then u can comprehend. U are made in the image of God and have His capabilities. Look inside yourself to tap into that supernatural power, and be released from a simple mind in order to walk into greater!

God Has Not Forgotten

 Psalm 33:4-5

For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord .

*No matter how many negatives u encounter in a day, the Earth is still filled with the goodness of God. He sees the positivity u bring to it even when no one else does. He takes note of what's in your heart and what u are trying to do even when no one else sees or understands. His admiration and love for u never goes away, especially when u are doing the right things for His namesake. Hold on to his love and know that for every seed u sowed, every way u have honored His word, and every desire u have does not go unnoticed...for in righteousness is justice and alleviation for all.

Thought for the Day: Rep Your Belief

Always remember that if u are a believer, u are a representative of God...we should be showing ppl how to live, be an example, and know that we are prosperous individuals. U have power if u realize God's power and that the same exists in u...the world should look towards us for guidance, prosperity, and admiration ...not vice versa...lift up your eyes from the place where u are to the place where u want to go...

Divine Protection

2 Thessalonians 3:3

3 But the Lord is faithful. He will
establish you and guard you against
the evil one.

*Protection is always found in God no matter the circumstance or environment of the situation. Whether u are afraid to completely surrender your life to God or afraid of your current living situation, God is always with you. He offers his angels to be encamped around u, and prepares a table for u in the presence of your enemies. Sometimes we can even be afraid of our desires, but are totally unaware of this fear. For instance, u could be afraid of a relationship be a friendship or something more, yet u desire this type of connection. U could even be afraid of excelling in life because of insecurity of not be in control of change, not believing in your own capability, or being unaware of the unknown. However, fear not bc God's rod and staff is there to comfort u! Fear is an element of evil that is designed to make u forget about God's promise, and have u disoriented and incapable of seeing opportunities that God has put before you. Believe in his divine protection and grace, which endures forever and is there for the taking! Now, walk boldly into your purpose by asking for it and taking what is rightfully yours...u are created in his image, so if it takes little strength for God to move evil out of your circumstance, it also takes little strength for u to allow him to do so.

Goal Focused Living :-)

Philippians 3:13-14

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

*Always remember that you receive help whether u ask for it or not. No one does anything 100 percent on their own...God placed individuals in your path to give u guidance, provide you with substance, or at the very least give an encouraging word to help u along the way. Even if it was just peace given to your nerves, God provided u with that moment in order to collect yourself and ask Him what's next? All these are mechanisms that are designed to help you move forward, and not dwell on what occurred more then the time frame necessary for review and learning from the situation. No matter how deep the pot hole may be in the road, u still have a destination to reach. Rather then focus on the ridiculousness of how something like that can be in your path, refocus on the initial goal and ask God how to quickly get over the pot hole in order to press forward towards your destination. Don't become so caught up on the obstacle that you lose sight of the finishing line. Receive all that God has for u by never becoming complacent, never giving up, and never allowing distractions to manifest into blockades that deter u from your initial desire.

Mind Over Matter

How you acknowledge your situation, circumstance, or issue determines how much power it holds...the more u dramatize it, the more magnified it becomes...

#Don'tLetSomethingGodAlready Conquered&DiedForControlU #JimHockadayInspiration

It's in the Eyes of the Beholder

2 Peter 3:9

9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his
promise as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you, not
wishing that any should perish, but
that all should reach repentance.

*Always remember that we are not always waiting on God to carry out the blessing or restore, but rather it is God who is waiting on us to be obedient, take advantage of the opportunities he gives us, and waiting for u to appreciate and take care of what u have in order to know if u are capable of being in control of greater. Even more so, he is waiting on u to invite him in for assistance and activate your faith to believe whatever u want or need is already received. Have u put your faith into action? Are u a couch potato that expects it to fall from the sky, or have u sown seeds or even bothered to ask God how to go about obtaining your desires? God has the ability to give u anything in any way he desires, but he does not place it on a time frame as humans do. He is so merciful that he often allows us to dictate the time frame. Who says it has to take years for success if the obedience, faith in action, and maturity is there? Let's not get in our own way; instead embrace his offer, make changes, and zero in on guidance.

Revamping Your Focus

Colossians 3:2

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

*When u focus on what God has promised u and what he has done, u will not be easily moved by earthly conflicts and issue. Even more so, u will not admire the success that comes with the evils of this world. U remember what God has for u, which is the blessing of Abraham. U will also be more aware of the fact that God owns it all! So, set your sites on Him and the rest ALWAYS falls into place.

Godly Reminder-Expectation of Grace

Deliverance in Rejoicing

Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

*Sometimes we go through those moments when we don't feel like focusing on a particular situation or event. We may have grown tired of praying on it, and have decided to take an emotional break. However, God tells us that this is the time we should be rejoicing and praying harder bc that's how our breakthrough comes. The more we fight with faith, praise, and prayer the better we feel and the more revelation we receive. I am currently going through that season myself, and God is sending me the word and kindness to help keep my perspective in focus. Let's pray for each other to unite the power of our anointing, and prepare for deliverance.

Faith in Action Part 2

Faith in Action

While sharing Holy Spirit inspired thoughts with you all, I also believe it is important to be transparent:

I want you all to know that I was laid off my job on Friday, November 8th. The lay off came as an unexpected surprise, and was unethically manuevered by my employment agency. However, rather than sit in cry, I am putting my faith into action by applying for jobs, praying, and sharing my declared future testimony with you. I want you to know the following, which is in my heart:

1. I will not be late on bills bc I owe no man nothing, but to love him (Romans 13:8).

2. I have brought my tithes into the storehouse and obeyed the Lord, so I am looking forward to receiving a blessing that I don't have room for (Malachi 3:10).

3. I am the head and not the tail; above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13).

4. I will not grow weary in well-doing, and because of my well-doing it is time for me to reap my harvest. I also plan to do well towards my brothers and sisters, even those who judge me (Galatians 6:1-10).

5. Grace will abound towards me, and I will receieve a SUDDEN blessing and deliverance (2 Corinthians 9:8).

6. I will have the desires of my heart due to my faith, obedience, and sacrifice (Psalm 37:4).

7. God will renew my strength and I will mount up with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31), which provides me with shalom...peace with nothing missing or nothing broken.

Stay tuned for more, and please pray for my strength in the Lord...I'm looking forward to the blessing of Abraham.

Release and Connect to Gain

Proverbs 15:29

The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

*Often, ppl challenge the authority of God and question His existence. This questioning may come from a personal belief that if God exists, why won't he help me in my situation? Or, u may have heard ppl question His grace in mercy because they have yet to overcome a trial or receive a desire. However, have u done your part to sow the proper seeds of deliverance? (Galatians 6:1-10) Are u emphasizing your faith through action, or better yet, have u even invited God into your situation or incorporated Him in your plans to see how u can elevate yourself? Sure, God wants to give us the blessing of Abraham and He has often delivered us even when we weren't worthy. However, certain desires, alleviation, and pursuits have to be guided properly and set up in order for plans to be carried out and certain blessings to be received. U also have to invite God into your situation in order for Him to do something about it bc He is not an over-powering God, but a just and mighty figure that still gives us the power of choice. Most importantly, u will need to be in right standing with God in order to receive the wonder of His works if u have fallen out of fellowship (1John 1:9) or need to be saved (John 3:16). Please, don't allow another day to go by that is controlled by your emotions of doubt, feeling sorry for yourself, wishful thinking, or anger. Instead, ask the Father how to rectify your situation and invite Him to assist and help u resist the evils of doubt.

Fear Not, For I Am With You

Psalm 27:1 Of David.

27:1 The Lord is my light and my
salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

*God is a light unto a dark path that doesn't seem to be illuminated with clarity or confirmation, while saving us from darkness and ordering our steps. No matter what u may face or regardless to have isolated u may feel, u are NEVER alone. There is no need to fear the unknown, constantly desire someone to understand u, or crave someone to walk with u during your time of need humanly. Your very existence has led to angels being encamped around u, and has captured the Father's attention to make sure they carry out their commands. They say there is nothing to fear, but fear itself...God says fear not, for I am with u...my rod and staff comfort u (Isaiah 41:10 and Psalm 23:4). So, next time u may feel alone, think no one understands, or there is no hope, just cry out to the Father who is always listening, always watching, and always waiting to direct your path...waiting to command His angels for your sake, and waiting to be that shining light to guide u to a brighter conclusion. BUT, first u must replace fear with faith for fear is only faith that is held down by complacency and has not undergone transformation in order to receive the elevation to the next level. Let go and let God...

1st Priority, Last Conclusion

Revelations 1:8

"I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

*No matter what we try to put before God or emphasize after His word has been spoken, he will always be the reference of creation from the beginning and ppl always turn to him in the end. There is always a justification that leads back to God...from creation of life that scientist can't seem to explain to after an evilness, (from a holiday like Halloween to an event), God always comes after, hence All Saints' Day and calling on the name of God for relief in times of trouble. There is no denying the creator of all be it in it's beginning stages to the end of it's life source, the spiritual reference of God is there.

Guidance is the Key to Victory

1 Peter 5:6

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

*Sometimes we have to let go of our own plans, unorthodoxed desires, and wants to humble ourselves for more then we could solely hope for...we often believe we know what's more convenient and best for ourselves, but never stop and consult God on what His plans are for your life. After all, He knows u better then u know yourself and sees all. Wouldn't u think that he would be capable of covering your basis and adding additions to your score without making u strike out? What we want often comes from our current mindset, but u have no idea of what u may need for tomorrow...let alone 5 or 10 years from now! Humble yourself enough to let Him navigate, and take a back seat...after all, our thoughts are not His thoughts...He knows a better route while we often steer ourselves into more traffic (aka trials) that He ends up having to deliver us from anyway. ;-)

The Best Navigation is of Your Heavenly Source

John 10:27-30

27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I
know them, and they follow me. 28 I
give them eternal life, and they will
never perish, and no one will snatch
them out of my hand. 29 My Father,
who has given them to me, is greater
than all, and no one is able to snatch
them out of the Father's hand. 30 I
and the Father are one.”

*There are times in life when we go through something, and it feels like we don't know what to do or how to handle the situation. U may even feel as though there is a presence that is holding u back from implementing your heart's desire for the situation. This is a good time to stop and think about your relationship with the Father...analyze His promises and ask yourself, "What is it that God has for me?...Would he really want me to be treated like this or be going through that?" God wants to give u the desires of your heart, and even more so He wants to give u the steps on how to achieve those desires. However, be aware that the enemy wants to confuse u and give u thoughts of hopelessness or provide you with objectives that were never meant to exist or complicate your ability to reach your goals. Ask yourself what voice are u following, and remind yourself that God is not the author of confusion. When he is guiding u or wants u to have something, he always directs your path clearly...there is no going in circles or side streets to confusing routes. Listen for his directions...

The Finished Product is Better then the Initial Result

1 Peter 4:12-13

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at
the fiery trial when it comes upon
you to test you, as though
something strange were happening
to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you
share Christ's sufferings, that you
may also rejoice and be glad when
his glory is revealed.

*Some of the most beautiful treasures have undergone fire in order to re-shape and mold them into the jewels that were always meant to be...don't be afraid of a little revamping. U are more then a conqueror, and the very element that defies the norm....

Your #1 Resource

Psalms 121: 1-2

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord , who made heaven and earth.

*When we realize and truly accept where our help comes from, then we are less likely to be moved by ppl and things. We start understanding that these are just seasons and connections in are lives that are not suppose to determine are next level, but merely placed in our lives as potential tools to get us to where God wants us to be. So, view each situation as a test, and like u would do a teacher, ask God for assistance when u don't have the answer. Treat people like the internet or a book, which can be sources where u can obtain information for your purpose. Also, view ppl as an opportunity for not just the training of your growth process, but the opportunity to help them in theirs as well. The same applies to scenarios and items; everything can use a little enhancement. You have the power to shape things and assist others in a way that has not been discovered when u know where your true help comes from, and how to tap into that divine assistance. Remember, u are the lender of all things and not the borrower. So, remove that pressure of dependency and accept the gift of giving...it can be done in more ways then one.

Dream Definition

A dream is a goal and wish wrapped up into one, which is motivated by faith and the beginning spark of a thought processed taking action...what do u dream of?

The Power of Love

1 Corinthians 13:6-7

It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

*A person who truly loves u does not like to see u down, will never withhold the truth from u, knows how to lovingly deliver the truth, and is there for u through thick and thin. Love always prays for and wants the best for u, and believes in you regardless of the world's standards or perception. Love sees greater in you and helps u realize your full potential. The power of love is amazing if we not only know how to use it, but choose to open ourselves up enough to give and receive this type of love as well.

The Wonders of Words

Proverbs 12:18

18 There is one whose rash words
are like sword thrusts,
but the tongue of the wise brings
healing.

*There is so much power in what we say and how we say it. Ever wonder why someone reacts to your words in a manner you didn't expect? Perhaps it is the wording u chose and the tone in which u provided. This doesn't necessarily due to negative usage...sometimes we give the wrong impression bc u have not learned how to cater your communication towards different audiences. For instance, the manner in which u talk to a child is not how u should speak to an adult. The way u make talk to your partner is not how u should speak to another person of the same sex. Perhaps u may have down to earth mannerisms that should be used for those with the same behaviors, while others may require more TLC when u speak with them. The best way to know how to provide healing through your words rather then strife is through seeking God...ask Him how to talk to ppl; examine His mannerisms in how he conducted His conversations. The Father tells us to walk in love, but we often try to add are own personal touch of attitude or bluntness to drive a point home. However, that is not always necessary. Communication is definitely an art form, and there are so many ways to paint the picture. Let's go beyond using primary colors aka speaking in one consistent manner, and let's learn to diversify our color palette. ;-)

Consistency to Avoid Complacency

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without
ceasing, 18 give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus for you.

*Sometimes how you react and handle your present circumstance determines whether or not u are ready for a supernatural promotion. Giving thanks to God when u don't feel like it, worshipping Him despite how u feel about the messenger, and being obedient regardless to the circumstance is all a part of staying consistent in your prayer and worship lifestyle. When it comes to seeking and loving God, it isn't based on a matter of convenience, your attitude, or how u feel towards something...it is whether or not u know and believe he is there for u regardless to what it looks like; he will never leave or forsake u no matter how u may feel or have been treated; and he is immovable unless we personally ask him to leave. Rejoice to let him know that U KNOW he has your back. Speak love and peace to let him know u understand the power and authority he has given u. It is so easy to cop out when things aren't going your way. How about taking the high road of praise for once?*

We Are What We Teach

Proverbs 22:6

New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.

The Bible shows us that if we train up a child based on the word and with good standards, the child will not depart from these thoughts of training. This is completely true...think about it: The things u were taught when u were younger have probably manifested and have been carried into your adulthood. U may search for those things to uphold a certain standard, maintain security, and you may believe without those things u will not have balance. Perhaps what u were taught even influences how u view ppl, how u treat them, and sets the tone for the types of relationships u have or desire. Our parents can be our #1 influencers, which can make or break a person as a whole. The next time u go through something for the umpteenth time, ask yourself why u are doing something, or tell yourself that u sound like your parent then think of this verse. God has the power to retrain, re-teach, or re-program if needed and you invite Him in your life to do so (1John 1:9), but until then, u are what u have been taught. Now ask yourself if that's a good or a bad thing?

The Power of the Tongue

This one hit home only a moment ago:

Matt. 5:37-"But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay; for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."

The words we speak not only hold power, but plant a seed in our lives. We can turn one thought into an extreme of different interpretations based on one word alone. Think about it: I can tell u I like something, and u may think I am trying to throw off a hint, clue, or u may over-analyze it to have a meaning that is totally different from my thought process initially. This is why it is important to speak the word only, be clear and concise in your communication, and don't beat around the bush. Otherwise, there is room for not just miscommunication, but an implant of a weed in your harvest of positivity.

Wait 2 Get Your Big Break

Luke 11:13

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

*As believers, sometimes we have to wait on the manifestation of our blessings, and be in good cheer and in faith while doing so. However, there are times when this task isn't easy and u may even begin to wonder if God forgot about u or if it will even come to pass. U may have even experienced someone obtaining the blessing u have been hoping and waiting for during your trial. I've definitely been and still going through that, but it is important to know that God has not forgotten about u, especially if u have been obedient and sown the proper seeds. It just often takes a little longer to put in place a blessing that is so great that it blows u away. God does not hand His children things or ppl haphazardly. He loves u so much that he pays attention to every little detail in order to perfectly craft it, so u will be able to tell that what u have desired is real and strictly from Him. This is often why ppl in the world blow away things like money or relationships don't last bc it is slung at them so fast and it was so unprepared for that they didn't know what to do with it when they had it. However, believers know what to do bc your test is preparing u on how to handle the real McCoy...the big fish out of  all the little ones! Even those little blessings are given to u for sustainability, so count it all joy and stay in faith...the best is yet to come! Now, don't be afraid to take it when He shows up and shows out...Have an awesome Saturday and keep your eyes open! :-)

Reward Preparation

Proverbs 22:4

4 The reward for humility and fear of
the Lord
is riches and honor and life.

*We all like rewards and acknowledgments for doing well in something... However, in order to get the reward and the best possible results, are we willing to listen to instruction and implement directions without using our own personal modifications? In this scripture, it is as simple as fearing God enough to be concerned with how he views your efforts and behavior, and humbling ourselves enough to accept direction and know we can't walk in complete fulfillment unless we remove self out of the way and can take heed to instruction. Yet, we are often still trying to modify or tweak things bc WE believe they need adjustments or WE feel something doesn't meet our expectation or cater to our personality. However, have u ever suspected that God wants to see how u handle something in a different light in order to test your abilities and know if u are capable of handling what u truly desire? Perhaps he wants u to receive practice or a trial run b4 placing u on the actual race track. Are u humble enough to realize that practicing turns into mastering something in order to utilize it to its full capacity? It is safe to say that humility leads to guidance, and guidance leads to better understanding, which often saves us time and confusion. Let's practice reading the manual that the Father has given us to perfect things b4 we start trying to play with or figure out "new toys."
