Release Fears of 2013 for Faith in 2014

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

*As the new year approaches, prepare yourself to let go of fear in order to make room for faith, which brings positive change. If you are lacking something, unable to move forward, haven't tried something that u have always desired to do, or are behind on things then it could be due to one preventative measure that holds ppl back: FEAR...People choose not to embrace things or take a stand bc they are in fear. Of course, it is not just fear in itself, but the fear of death...death of your current self or situation bc u are unsure of the unknown, which could be positive change u are hindering yourself from receiving; fear of the death of a relationship or condition u have become complacent with; or just fear of what others may think.

However, the reality is that u are still dying bc you have chosen to freeze yourself in prolonged situation that was only meant to last for a season. Don't hold yourself back any longer...let go, let God, and pray for assistance in receiving all He has for u. He is waiting for u to not just cast your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:6-7), but to let them go permanently. Life is so precious...don't further delay an opportunity that u should have taken a long time ago...If I listened to ppl and all the what ifs, I wouldn't be able to minister to you today. Let go, and let God...Happy New Year!

2013 Lesson

Proverbs 3:13

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding...

Goodness, I can't believe all the lessons God has brought me through in 2013...particularly the lesson of love. I have loved through sarcastic, critical, unfairness, unjust, secular, and trying situations. I have learned to embrace the unexpected and protected the forgotten. I have uplifted the downtrodden and given strength to those when I felt helpless, and God has shown favor through it ALL.  How I love my Savior and His way of pushing me to sow even more so then ever, but most importantly to do His will even when I thought it was beyond me...NOW it is time to reap the harvest!..2014-ProsperityStyle #NextPhaseGiving&Reaping #NOWIAmReadyToEmbraceSomeoneElseBcIFoundMySpiritualSelf #God'sPreciousGirl #ComingOutLikeJonah #LoyaltyLikeRuth,StrengthLikeSamson,RestorationLikeJob,FavorLikeEsther#SurprisingOthersLikeDavid#BallingLikeAbraham#LovingLikeMary#PreparedLikeNoah

Don't Miss Your Blessing...

Thought for the Day:

Know When 2 Hold and When 2 Fold...

Sometimes second guessing something can make you miss out on a window of opportunity. If God tells you to do something, u better move right then bc time waits for no man and neither does opportunity...

James 2:18 ESV
But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.. .#YourBlessingIsInFrontOfYourEyesAndYouDontEvenKnowIt

Fearless and Faithful

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

*According to this verse, God has given us three weapons to combat fear...all u have to do is ask for and sow them. Think about it: We hold the power to turn the other cheek when someone tries to make us angry or upset our vibe. Instead we can combat that principality through kindness and by walking in love. We hold the ability to freely love ppl, and be that shining example showing others that everyone is not out to steal, kill, and destroy as the devil has assigned them to do.

Also, by loving someone, u in turn allow yourself the ability to receive and accept love. Remember, u are unable to receive if u are always trying to protect and shield yourself. Lastly, you are created in God's image (1 Corinthians 5:17); therefore, u have a sound mind and the capability to think before you act bc words have power; u are capable of analyzing a situation, and hold the ability to choose the appropriate solution based on how God leads u. Don't circum to the devil's trick of making u think too deeply on a subject or person, cause u to not trust your instincts, and overshadow kindness and love with a feeling that someone is always trying to get something from u. Stop thinking the worse all the time, and open your heart and have faith for God's best. Otherwise, you may find that you have allowed fear into your domain...making u miss out on what should be rightfully yours. Your three weapons that God has given u are far more stronger then the one trick the devil has up his sleeve. Take back what is rightfully yours...

Curiousity Food for Thought

One of the most amazing things about clarity is its ability to create focal points...When u have clarity from God, u only have to concern yourself with u and yours...Your assignments, your mate, your connections, your discernment, and all the elements that make up God's will for who...YOU! There is no need to seek approval, opinions, or unnecessary advice from others when u have God's clarity on your side. He gave u some business to concern yourself with, so leave all the extra behind...

Moving On and Moving Forward

1Peter 5:6-10
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

*Today's verses will be the majority of the inspirational message because I feel the Holy Spirit saying that someone is holding on to past hurts, events, and situations that have hindered you from moving forward and being elevated to the desired level you are trying to reach. Your inability to let go and give your cares to God COMPLETELY is what keeps you stationary and causes complacency, while you don't even know it. Your past experiences with church, people, or events have made you apprehensive about letting go and letting God fully show you the power of His abilities to bring u through and above your situation due to lack of trust. Please, do not allow these things to hinder you further. Let go and let God...2014 doesn't have to be like the last few days, weeks, months, or years you have experienced. He is ready to work things out for u and in your favor, but first u must humble yourself to surrender and invite Him into your COMPLETE situation without leaving any holes or ability for evil fillers. Feel free to visit my blog (charitycommunicationsviagod.blogspot.com)or reach out to me personally  to pray for you in order to touch and agree to move forward.

Humility Creates Wellness

Exodus 15:26
He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

*Sometimes it is as simple as our ability to follow God that will keep us from extra hardship and illnesses. However, there are times when things feel so right, when they taste so good, and when they appear so perfect that we tend to altar what we know is right in order to make it fit what we desire. God promises that He will not bring the sufferings of others, in this case those that the Egyptians endured, if we follow His will and His way. However, we often choose what we believe is best bc we are not patient enough to wait on His perfect will...Instead, your desire is of the permissible will or perhaps one that is not a part of His plans at all. Do not circum to distractions that are trying to take u away from what u deserve to have to only gain what u desire for a short time. Be well and made whole in knowing His choice is the right choice.

An Opened Mind Leads to An Opened Heart

Things to remember:

1.Whatever u believe is exactly just that...What YOU believe; it isn't deemed law, so do not criticize the thoughts and beliefs of others. If u don't understand something, that doesn't automatically make it wrong.Instead, help them understand u in order to open them up for u to understand.

2. Expect the unexpected...the greatest ppl and things come in surprise packages. The worst of things sometime appear picture perfect. Always remember that u control the paint brush though...

Complete Trust

Psalm 25:1, 2 “Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”

*Many times we say we trust in God and His power, but yet we continue to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We continue to build connections, relationships, and friendships we were never meant to utilize; we attempt careers we were never meant to be a part of; and we stray away from individuals and things God is trying to give to us. Why is that? It is often bc we are often afraid to surrender all and give our complete soul and life to Him, which stems from a lack of trust. Lacking the ability to trust, especially your Savior, often effects your progress. We are afraid of the unknown bc we have gotten use to our current situations, which is yielding to complacency. God tells us in Deuteronomy 31:6 that God will never leave nor forsake us. Therefore, wouldn't u rather Him quickly guide u to what u should have considering that he knows all, vs what u believe u should be doing when u can only see things day by day? Save yourself the headache by simply doing one thing: Letting go...let go of your thoughts and plan of action to welcome His. Offer your spirit to Him now to keep from wasting time later. You are too intelligent and too special in His sight to be of a limited mindset and capacity. Let go and let God....

The Power of God Lives in You

Ephesians 1:16-19

16 I do not cease to give thanks for you,
remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the
knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of
your hearts enlightened, that you may
know what is the hope to which he has
called you, what are the riches of his
glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might...

*My prayer is that we grow stronger as a body...Not just for the sake of collecting our own inheritance, but to be a part of a revolving door that is continuously bringing souls into the kingdom and shipping out negativity. My friends, whether u know it or not, our beliefs and how we govern ourselves are tried daily. It is true that if u have God on the inside, others feel it when u so much as walk into a room. Not only do they feel it, but some may even become intimidated by it. Our job as believers is to humble ourselves to allow God to intervene during these situations, and ask for wisdom on how to combat them and protect ourselves. Don't be so enclosed in your circumstance or in your personal space where u can't be open to combat elements outside of that...just as believers in Jesus Christ desire for souls to be won over at the end of time, so does the dark seeker...He tries to convert us to evil or place us in a complacent mode where we are surrounded by what we believe is a safe haven. Ppl, in being transparent, I was tried on Christmas night...I had to defend the element of my loyalty to God and the reasoning for even attending church. ALWAYS be on your guard, but susceptible enough to allow the Holy Spirit to maneuver your circumstance. #EndOfDaysAreReal

A Love Connection

Proverbs 17:9
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. (NLT)

*When you truly forgive someone, you will not bring up the past in the heat of an argument. Forgiving those who have wronged you removes strife, and makes room for the prosperities that come with love: Connection, growth, and solidification of a bond that can be everlasting. Do not allow yourself to be separated from someone that was sent as a Godly connection due to a momentary issue that can always be forgiven, forgotten, and fortified to create an everlasting bond.

Exceedingly and Abundantly...Above All We Ask

Ephesians 3:20
King James Version (KJV)
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us...

*God is capable of doing more then u ever imagined or dreamed of...after all, he created life and the positive entities of it. There is nothing more precious, yet complexed as life in itself. However, notice we are the ones that dictate how much is created in our lives by God. The amount of power that u allow Him to have over your life dictates the abundance and wonders of what you acquire in it...The limitations we put on God will be those same limitations that hold u back. Take the cap off, and let your spirit explore! Give Him free ran to show u more then enough in the love u have always imagined, the career opportunity u have always dreamed of, the connections u have longed to make, and the salvation of those u are hoping will be saved. He loves u and wants to do all He can for u...He gave His life for u, and He even has enough mercy to give u just a taste of the things to come. Don't just settle for a sample, but submerge yourself in the wonders of His love and see where it takes u and what it gets u. Not only will u receive, but if u let Him, He will use that same power to allow u to give to others...#ThinkOutsideTheBox

Think Outside the Box of Possession

Life is about more then the possessions u own, the ones u wish to have, and those u plan to gain this holiday season: It is about the love of God sending His only son to save us. Express that same selfless love this Christmas...u never know who needs it...

Luke 12:15

15 And he said to them, “Take care,
and be on your guard against all
covetousness, for one's life does not
consist in the abundance of his
possessions.”

Selfless Encouragement

Philippians 2:1-30 ESV
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus...

*In winning the hearts of others, especially the unsaved, u must not treat them like a case study or a plague that u need to stay away from...Instead, try winning them over with love. Smother their sins with the love of God, and show them the evidence of grace and mercy that truly cares for them. Even towards Christians offer compassion regarding areas that others are struggling with, and uphold them through strength. What good does it do when u are always looking for your own blessing and release, but do not take interest in the concerns of others? That is why it is important to sow seeds...the world is not about me, myself, and I...it is about edifying each other. Many times, social media and other aspects are underlyingly teaching us to showcase ourselves and act as if we are more important then others. However, God views us all as being equal. No one's goals, dreams, or desires or more important then the next. Let's learn to think outside of ourselves, especially this Christmas as we celebrate the most selfless gift given to all mankind: Jesus.

Friendly Reminders

God's Blessing Does Not Bring Stressing

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he added no sorrow with it.

*Blessings from God are never meant to be regrets, but uplifts in life that show His power and remind u that u ain't seen nothing yet! #ChristianCountryUplift...lol

The End Result

Ecclesiastes 7:8

8 Better is the end of a thing than its
beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

*The end result is always the true nature or dictation of why a situation occurred, or why a person was in your life. In the beginning, we can make the mistake of embracing false hope or a person's representative...We often jump the gun, and assume the conclusion before we have actually investigated, edured, or uncovered the true nature of the situation. Sometimes you have to wait things out and be patient enough to allow the Spirit to reveal the true nature of a person or element. This keeps you from making an assumption, maneuvering things into something it was never meant to be, or allowing the pride of your intelligence to dictate a false sense of hope.

Today, I uncovered that the very element of hope and love I longed for was no more then a false sense of security that reared its selfish head. My hope of helping someone turned into a mechanism that turned on me to drain and use me. I may have learned the hard way that you should never mix unequally yoked connections, but I will hold on to my mustard seed of faith (Matt. 17:20) that I will receive the promises of true love, friendships, and connections as God wants us to have (1 Cor. 13). I will also remember to wait patiently on an answer from God regarding a connection, look out for myself as well as others, and not see things as they are...but as what they can become.

Making Space for Availability

An open mind leads to an open heart that now has space to allow someone to enter...#Don'tCloseYourselfOff

Commitment = Clarity

Proverbs 16:3 ESV
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

*Are you tired of going around in a circle regarding a specific plan of action for a certain goal? Maybe you find that u end up right back where u started, continue to deal with the same types of people, or u may feel this is the peak of the situation and it is downhill from here. Please, know that is NEVER the case. If God has given u a gift, talent, or idea He wants u to utilize it. However, the catch is He would like u to dedicate it for His purposes in order for it to reach its maximum potential and receive personal gain. God never intended for us to settle, take longer then need be on a particular obstacle, or become stumped. He wants us to have life more abundantly (Ephesians 3:20); however, you must seek Him first for all things to be added (Matt. 6:33) and commit to Him. Otherwise, u may find yourself acting like a dog: Chasing your tail and getting no where fast. With God, we can reach goals and become successful in record timing, and it will last longer. However, are u willing to commit to Him? Can u work on getting rid of life as u know it to receive the life as u desire? Fully commit to God today to receive clarity and consistency for tomorrow. Can u afford to waste anymore time on doing things that were never meant to work?

Food for Thought

Faith Over Matter

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

*Faith takes action: It takes the ability to believe that what God has promised us and is capable of doing will come to pass, and it takes your willingness to adhere to the instructions or receive the blessing no matter how far off it is from YOUR ideas and goals. Notice how God wants us to be prepared to take action at any given moment, and wants our minds free from anything that can hinder u from performing the action or following the instructions. Sometimes our own thoughts, ideas, laziness, or desires of wanting something to come to pass one way can fog our capability of accepting a blessing any other way. However, God still provides us with the grace of asking u to trust Him, and accept the fact that He knows what's best for u. Once you allow an open mind to come upon u, then u will be able to see God's revelation for all He has for u. Remember, things aren't as they seem bc faith is the substance of things hoped for and always the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1). Get out of your own way, and go ahead and latch on to pull the supernatural into your natural element. #ThinkOutsideTheBox

A Holy Replacement

2 Corinthians 5:17-Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

*When u completely submit and give your life to Christ, your whole mindset changes. You no longer think like you use to, your views and interest in worldly things change, and the desire to satisfy ppl turns into a desire to satisfy God. You will eventually notice that u receive more guidance and help during your time of need. It is no longer your job to be anxious or try to figure things out. You can now enjoy the freedom to depend on Christ, and receive blessings that do not meet normal standards of life or adhere to normal timing. You SUDDENLY receive deliverance, motivation, and opportunities that you did not expect. However, the first thing we have to do is let go of our old mindset: Let go of being hard headed; release and pray for assistance with old habits; accept that u are worth more to in order to willingly receive all God has for u. Don't allow life's limitations to dictate your edification and confirmations that God is waiting to give u. Let go of what u know to receive the unexpected. In order to receive something you have never had, u have to do something u have never done. The old man is a prison of complacency; release him/her to receive the freedoms of a new creature!

God's Sheep Should Know His Voice

Facebook photo thoughts: Christians know God's voice, and do not lean on their own understanding...(Proverbs 3:5-6).

It's All About Perspective & Discernment

Thought for the Day: Never judge a book by its cover...

God places everyone in our life for a reason, and that reason often adheres to our current season. Just bc a person is secular or has secular tendencies, that doesn't mean that individual  can't assist u. Also just bc a person is a Christian, that doesn't mean that they are there to be used and abused while being placed on a nonexistent pedestal of perfection. If u truly believe that God has all power and authority, then realize that He can use ANYONE to touch your life in a positive manner, and that positivity is in the mind of the beholder. Stop using stereotypes to further isolate yourself, or place responsibility on a fictitious individual that never existed. Instead, use wisdom to broaden your perspective and magnify your opportunity...

Genesis 2 Revelation

Love is often found in its rarest form, and over time cultivated into a bond that last a lifetime...#HelpMeetSeason

Deception vs Discernment

Colossians 2:8 ESV
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

*Many times, others would like to utilize their spiritual tendencies and discernment to dictate what u should do and when u should conduct things in your life. Dictatorships are not orthodoxed methods of God, which is why He wants u to establish your own personal relationship with Him. What works for the goose isn't necessarily what works for the gander; therefore learn to seek God's guidance for yourself to recognize the necessary tools and steps that have been developed for your own unique situation. Now, don't get me wrong: There is nothing wrong with seeking guidance and admiring the capability and discernment of others. Of course, that is why u should attend church at the least in order to obtain that guidance. However, don't allow someone else's word from God dictate your final outcome. He has methods and solutions that are tailor-made for you. Also do not allow the world, pressures of it, or the hustle mentality to move you either. Know that human influence should be taken if God told u He put that person in your life to help. Otherwise, u may be setting yourself up for deception, taking on an assignment that you were not suppose to participate in, or suffer unnecessary hardships. Do u in the way God wants to see u through.

Matters of the Heart

Matt: 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

*Purity in the heart is referring to cleansing your heart from anything that can hinder your spiritual growth, which often includes the removal of things/people. The heart has to be purified bc it is the main organ that distributes blood and life to the rest of the body. Essentially, this verse emphasizes the importance of the heart, and how purification is so powerful that it gains the attention and view of God. Men have been trying to capture the attention of someone's heart for years by entering through the stomach with food (a way to a man's heart is through his stomach), creating steps to win over love, and trying to influence the contents of it through entertainment. Therefore, we must put a guard over our hearts by using Godly discernment on what we feed the heart or who we allow next to it. However, be open-minded enough to not allow the cares of this world to harden the heart from receiving love and heavenly insight.

Resisting Temptation

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

*Temptation is a common test of life that helps show are strengths and endurance qualities. Always remember that u are never alone when it comes to being tempted. There have been other men that have gone through the same form of temptation as you. You are never alone and never the first, and because of this, God knows how to help you and see you through the situation. Pray before encountering any tempting forms, and thank Him for relief when they arise. For this is a test of edifying your spirit and the ability to take part in the endurance that Jesus suffered while being on earth. Look for the exit strategy during the circumstance, and consider it an honor to show the Father that u can endure. Also, look for the reaping of a reward for your endurance. Remember he will never put more on u then u can be, especially something that forces u to do the wrong thing. You always have freedom of choice with our sweet Savior. Even when u fall, He is always forgiving. Let's show Him that the power to choose His way to receive long term benefits is far greater then momentary pleasure. #PrayingForOurStrengthInTheLord

Rewards of Salvation

1 Peter 1:3-5

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to
his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead, 4 to an
inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God's
power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

*Thank God for His grace and mercy to forgive, protect, and bless bc we decided to stop our own madness and trust in Him.

Give and It Shall Be Given Unto You

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (KJV)

7 Every man according as he purposefully in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God Lovett a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

*We are capping off the year of great grace as we approach the end of 2013. Even if u have had trials, we were still blessed because we are above ground and have a testimony of how we are making it through. We can also consider ourselves as leaders that provide guidance on how to get through the tough times and still put a smile on your face bc you know God never left, and may have even sent someone to uplift u. Notice how the word speaks about grace abounding towards us to create sufficiency in ALL things. This is one of God's covenants, but in order to be covered u must do your part: GIVE. Verse seven discusses giving, but there are catches: U must not have an attitude when giving, or so much as feel like your giving is being forced or surrounds a "have to" mindset. Give as God instructs through discernment bc of the fact that you love Him so much, that you are willing to sacrifice and give because He is worthy. It is your act of love. The same way u love Him, u must love others. Keep in mind though that giving doesn't have to be from a monetary perspective. You can give time, energy, kindness, insight, and many other things. However, giving has meaning; therefore, do not give junk bc u are just trying to push the person off, clean out the closet, or receive something from God. If your left overs mean nothing to u, they mean nothing to Him. Giving is a symbol of love with meaning. It is something u wish to have should u be in need in that same manner. So, give with meaning and God will cover u with ALL the necessities your good works deserve. Remember, closed hands aren't open for receiving...let it go to gain more. God bless u.

Obligational Access

Philippians 2:4 ESV
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

*God desires us to be selfless in nature. It is our duty as believers to take interest in the needs of others, which sows a seed for others to take interest in us. Many times you may have confessed or heard others express in their own way that we are our brother's/sister's keeper, but yet there is a blind eye turned when a person needs assistance, motivation, or just something as simple as a kind word. The saying, "Every little bit helps," is truly accurate when it comes to providing love. This is not just an obligation as a believer, but a privilege to make a positive impact on behalf of God's kingdom. Who wants to be a part of a group who is selfish and doesn't take interest in anyone, but themselves and those only relatable to them? Sometimes God presses on us to be examples through compassion and through accessibility. How can we ever expect to gain or receive anything if close ourselves off to life as we know it? #BeLed

Flexibility

God wants us to be well-rounded, relatable individuals in order to reach His ppl. Therefore, if u are going through something that has removed you from the "good times," not only remember that the best is yet to come, but also remember that He is taking you through the elements of life in order to walk in the shoes of His ppl...thus, leading u to respect and understand all walks of life...

Philippians 4:11-12 ESV
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Scriptures on Speaking in Tongues-Your Receipt of the Holy Spirit:

Luke 24:49- The Promise
Acts 2:38- The Gift
Luke 11:9,10,13- How to Receive
Acts 1:8- Power
Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-46 Bible Evidence of Speaking
1 Corinthians 14:2- How Do I Know What I Say?

The Prayer Asking for the Gift of the Holy Spirit:

"Father, your Word says that the Holy Spirit is a gift. He is a gift. I don't work for Him; all I do is receive Him. So Father, I receive, right now, as an act of my faith, the Holy Spirit, with the Bible evidence of speaking with other tongues."

Now, take a deep breath and begin to speak forth your heavenly language. Even if it is just a sound, believe you have received it. Practice each day, and the language will evolve. God bless you!

Being Out of Fellowship with God

We all have fallen short, and some of us have even slipped back into the world of evil and potential downfall. However, God still loves you. He wants you to come back and will not judge you. If you have fallen out of fellowship with Him, read the scriptures below out loud.

-1John 1:9
-1John 2:1

Now, begin to pray and ask the Father to forgive you for all you have done. Let Him know you are ready to come home and get in right standing with Him. Your life's success and safety depend on it, and is worth it!

Salvation in its Simplest Form

Scriptures to Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior:

Romans 5:12- The Need
St. John 3:16- The Solution
Acts 4:12- The Name of the Solution
Romans 10:8, 9, 10- How to Apply the Solution
Ephesians 2: 8,9- The Gift
St. John 1:12- The Right to Receive this Gift

The Prayer of Salvation (Pray this out loud and believe):

"I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe He died for me on Calvary's tree, bearing my sins for me. I believe He rose from the dead and is alive right now! Come into my heart now. I believe with my heart. Therefore, I say with mouth that Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior. And I am, right now, born again. In Jesus name, Amen."

Declaration of Dedication to the ONLY Divine One

Psalm 143:10

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!

* Declaration of Dedication:

The will of God is what I long for...I long to continue to stay focused on His purpose of fulfillment regardless to what my natural surroundings reveal. For His purpose generates peace that passes all understanding, and His grace increases supernatural prosperity and solidifies human connectivity for His purpose in His namesake. There is none like u; not one who can do the things u do. My spirit will forever give u praise, and my heart will forever reap an overflowing harvest for days.

Spiritual Instructions

Matthew 7:7-8

"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.

*In these verses, God has clearly opened the door of opportunity for us...opportunity to prosper and receive answers. However, notice there are specific instructions that have been given in order for u to find an item/person, receive an answer, and open the door of opportunity. Are u willing to adhere to these instructions?

A lot of time instructions to obtain our blessings are so simplistic. For instance, not being anxious, sowing seeds, or seeking Him first. Yet, we choose to complicate these situations by believing there is more to it then meets the eye, allowing feelings to provoke us to lean on our own understanding, or being too lazy to even adhere to these simple requests. If we aren't capable of following simple instructions, what makes us think that God would entrust us with with more detailed ones to lead us to great and mighty things, provide us with another person who requires a lot of instructions and attention, or bless u with an overflow? To receive a lot, we must first learn how to handle a little...in order to even get to the next level, we must learn to follow instructions, better known as God's road map to success. So, learn to listen to you Spirit and not with your mind. The difference between the two is one has been perfectly crafted by God and the other has been tampered with by the world. Edify your way of thinking through Godly restoration and His specifications. #ThinkSpiritually,NotLogically

Declare Double for Your Trouble

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3N80A7rc8s&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Children of Confidence

1 John 2:28

28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink
from him in shame at his coming.

*God views us as His children...We are seen as curious individuals that are in search of answers, playful because we often look for outlets of release, and sometimes we get into things we have no business touching or messing with in the first place. So, if God is aware of all our developmental behaviours, don't u think He is aware of the fact that u aren't perfect? Despite your best efforts, u may still have flaws: U may occasionally say something that should have never been said, do things out of order, or become anxious. However, He still loves u and welcomes u home like the forgiving Father that He is...Of course, u may deserve a spanking and have to suffer the consequences, but He is fully aware of what u are going to do before u do it.

Therefore, STOP running in shame from Him when u feel a certain way or do something. STOP being hard on yourself when He is willing to give u grace, mercy, and guidance. Lastly, STOP holding others accountable and talking about them when He is trying to help u work out your imperfections. Go to God with the confidence of knowing that He is ready to forgive and help u if u humble yourself and repent. Be open to guidance like a child bc u know good and well u can't do this by yourself! :)..COME OUT in the name of Jesus of that complacent mindset and let go of habitual sin to receive the love, treats, and tender mercy that your Father has for u. It is your God given right to an inheritance if u abide in Him. Now make your move...u have already been caught dipping in the cookie jar. May as well confess, allow Him to clean up the mess, and give u a better dessert then u have ever imagined!

Know Where Your Help Comes From

Want to know why I am glad I am saved during my time of need?...When I am upset, I don't turn to alcohol or a blunt...I instead turn the pages of my Bible. When I feel lonely, I don't turn to a man for attention; instead, I turn to my Father for motivation. When I'm tired, I don't fall into a bed ridden depression; instead I fall on my face to ask Him for strength. Finally when I'm at my wits end, I begin to praise bc I am thanking God I wasn't motivated to sin. #MoreThenAConqueror #TakingItLikeAChampBcIKnowTheEndResult #HoldOn

Psalms 121: 1 I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Heart Transplant

Psalms 119:10
With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!

*As we grow in God, u will notice that there are many distractions that are put in front of u. Life may no longer be of worldly glamor or of the same daily hustle and flow nature. When u give your life to Him and surround yourself with elements of His will, there may be things/ppl put in your path as distractions that are meant to potentially derail u.

U may even get in your own way while transitioning... finding that the old way of doing things no longer feels right. That is the evolution of your heart taking place to transform u into a new creature..one that is reminded of His commandments and will when u try to or may accidentally step outside of it. If it doesn't feel right anymore, it is bc it no longer has control of your heart. Take heed to this feeling bc it is a part of the renewing of your mind. However, don't become complacent in the idea that there is only one transformation period. As u continue to grow in Christ, there are different levels of transforming the heart and viewing His word and will. Be open enough to allow continuous change, but grounded enough to know that anything that tries to distract u has no power unless u want it to...

Holy Spirit Spotlight

2 Corinthians 10:17-18
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

*It is ok to have confidence in yourself and be happy about your good looks, blessings, and accomplishments. However, when u choose to showcase this happiness, be aware of why you are doing so...make sure human accolades aren't outweighing the potential to give a sincere testimony. Everything we share regarding what we have, own, overcome, or do should be to publicly glorify God and be a living example of His grace and mercy. This should never turn into a move of stealing the show, getting in God's spotlight, or showcasing an "I'm better then u" swag. U see, a person who is confident in their God receives the spotlight without personally having to draw attention to themselves. As it was mentioned today at FCC (Faith Christian Center), God's presence is felt through u when u walk into the room. Because of Him, u make a difference and change the scene. There is no need to win an instagrammy when u are already picture perfect in His eyesight. Let His grace flow through u, and u will see that accolades aren't begged for but come naturally. ;-)

Comparing is an Ilusion of Confusion, Your Walk is Your Own

True Transparency

When witnessing, be careful that you aren't leaving out truth and misleading someone...your transparency your imperfections today can save someone's life tomorrow:

Proverbs 28:10

10 Whoever misleads the upright
into an evil way will fall into his own pit, but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance.

Are You In Your Own Way?

Psalm 119:11 ESV

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

*Many times people will tell you to avoid certain places, people, and scenarios to avoid being involved in sin. This is often true, and u have to know and be honest with yourself regarding what tempts you. However, we cannot isolate ourselves from everything, and we must have confidence in our deliverance and believe in our love and respect for God to avoid sin as well. For example, most restaurants serve alcohol and may play soothing or even soulful music while u dine. Because of your deliverance and remembering your love for God, u shouldn't feel tempted to cut loose and become drunk just bc something is sold around u.

Let's discuss courtship: If God gave u the green light to pursue your mate, He believes in your ability to abstain from sexual immorality...So, why can't u believe in yourself? The word of God is embedded in our hearts, and we know right from wrong, so why can't you trust yourself to do the right thing? Better yet, why go through doing the wrong thing to receive condemnation when doing what's right reaps multiplication? Sometimes we hold ourselves back bc we aren't truly believing in His word.

Daily Supplement

2 Corinthians 4:16 [ Seeing the Invisible ] Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

*Even though we grow older each day, we can still rely on God to keep us youthful through His development within us. He is constantly trying to renew our mind to help us combat physical ailments on the outside be it ways to help your physical appearance, instructions on how to handle a given situation/person, or revamping how we view others/things. Don't allow the world's time factors to dictate where u are suppose to currently be in life at your age. Do not lose heart or hope bc you haven't met a goal, or perhaps u have met your goals and do not have someone to share your success with...it is all coming in God's perfect timing. Yes, we may have made mistakes to delay progress, but the end results are still inevitable. So, regroup with God to see how to renew your mind and body in order to proceed towards your divine purpose. #Re-shape, re-vamp, & re-do this weekend

Love Faces

True love doesn't have a specific face, skin tone, voice, smell, background, height, or mannerism...when it hits u, then u will know bc it will be everything u ever hoped in an unexpected package that is perfectly tailored for u. Don't limit love; instead let God limit your speculations to exceed your expectations.

Love of Christ vs Death of Self

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (NIV)

*Laying down your life doesn't necessarily mean actual death. It means dying to or denying your own flesh at times to strengthen and edify others. God may ask u to give someone a gift even if u are giving your last; He may ask u to spend time with someone even though u are busy; or He could ask u to speak with others about a certain subject matter that may be uncomfortable for u. All these potential assignments and more are u laying down your own life, cares, or concerns to potentially save or impact the lives of others. You could be that person's last hope, and your sacrifice for Christ may help transition that individual from the death of worldly woes to spiritual glorification. In being transparent, I die to the flesh daily in casting my own cares aside to love on someone else. This builds my faith in knowing that God has my back while I am guided by the Holy Spirit to have the back of someone else. I was originally not a people person, especially with the attitudes of my own people. However, all that is no longer a factor when the old man dies and the new is living for Christ. Use discernment and not feelings of  internment to guide u.

The Favor of Love

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called
according to his purpose.

*No matter what u are going through, be it good or bad, it is helping to edify u for your purpose in life. These things are working in our favor to shape us into better ppl and to mold us for a blessing that we will be able to not just receive, but be able to handle as well. So, love God through the good and bad bc He is always working on your behalf to bring u favor.

Your Love's Interest

Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

*Many times we have said that in order to enter into a relationship, a person must take us for who we are...this gives an indication that we are unmovable or unwilling to change or perhaps not even willing to compromise. However, when u enter into a relationship u give up "I" for "us" and "me" for "we." So, the attitude of selfishness that wants us to stay complacent and not change is irrelevant because u enter a covenant...a covenant that provides an agreement that u will place the value of another over yourself, and that u will take interest in what is important or even admired by your love or even your friend. Therefore, if something makes him/her uncomfortable, there needs to be flexible efforts made so that u both are comfortable. If I am connected to someone or something that makes my love upset, he comes first and consideration allows me to change some things. I'm not saying to lose yourself in the process, but if a help meet is designed for u (Genesis 2:18), then that person was sent by God to help u see beyond your limitations in the natural. He/she was designed to help u see beyond yourself in order to push your capabilities...So, when we desire relationships, do we really know what we are asking for? Better yet, are we willing to make the sacrifices necessary to maintain it?

Be Unmovable

Psalm 1:1-3

1:1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the
Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

*No matter who u encounter, u should always remain the same and represent God. Some people change like a chameleon, and have multiple personalities in order to fit in with a group. However, your job is not to please ppl, but to please and represent your Father regardless to how others may perceive u. If u are in right standing with Him and are acting as He would, that's all that matters. Also, if we are consulting with evil, participating in evil, acting judgmental, or having conflicting or fickled behavior, then don't be surprised if u are the very individual that is holding your own blessing and prosperity back. Believers shouldn't have schizophrenia or bi-polar behavior. U should be healed of your hot and cold nature, and continue to put off the old man daily. Your actions dictate what u believe, and how u treat others is how u feel about yourself. Let's be unmovable to reap our harvest, and continue to remain healthy for His name sake bc evil tendencies bring unhealthy results.

Reach 4 the Moon & Actually Land There!

1John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

*Loving yourself is not just about self appreciation, but it consists of the ability to be self-aware...aware of who u are as a person, what your needs are, what your self-worth is to have those needs met, & holding out until God brings u the best. Today, don't settle just for "at least" having something...make it your business to receive what God has that's perfectly tailored for u. You have asked Him for something specific; therefore, why would u settle for something less? He knows u are thankful for where u are in life because of your daily praise and worship that u should be giving Him, but don't let the idea of being grateful slip into complacency where u are thinking that u can't reach for the moon bc u don't want Him to think u aren't grateful or are complaining about the stars. Go for your goals, dreams, and desires...if God created that inside of u, don't u think He would want u to have it? Be grateful for what u have, but be CONFIDENT in knowing that the best is yet to come...(Sending special love to Saundria Duncan for inspiring my spirit to release and receive this...now that's a friend.)

Faithful Promises & Willing Receipt

Hebrews 10:23

23 Let us hold fast the confession of
our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

*We have begun the season of hope and cheer as Christmas makes it rounds at the end of the year. This is the season of giving...giving hope to one another; sacrificing your doubts to make way for God's will; and it is definitely the season to be intune to what seeds God wants u to sow faithfully in order to make way for your own miracle. Each person's need, desire, or want is important to them in its own way. Of course, the measure of importance is determined by whether or not u will do what it takes to receive it. So, let's put off the years worth of being tired, inconsistent behaviour, and perhaps even a finicky attitude and put on this month's armor of God filled with hope...hope that you will receive your desires; faith that these desires will come to past not just for your sake, but for the sake of others and in order to be a blessing towards them; and acquire willingness to be open to opportunities that will allow u to receive God's promises. Be sincere in what u do, and do not make empty promises...u never know when a meaningless effort may have just cost u your blessing.

Temptation vs God's Will

James 1:13-14

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.

*Temptation is in the mind of the beholder...God is never tempting u, and no one can "try u" or "test your inner gangster" unless u allow them to. Whenever u feel tempted, it is often your inner most desires that are coming out and trying to push u to find a quicker way to satisfy that need or want. Consider it a test of your will power, which is often one of the hardest test to pass. However, greater is He that lives on the inside of u then the adversity that wants to manifest within. We just have to ask ourselves if the temptation that we feel, long for, or crave lines up with the will of God for your life or with His word. In being transparent, I have longed to leave GA and explore a new state...the devil tempts with financial means to get me out of my current state, and pokes at that longing for financial overflow and stability. However, I have to ask myself if that opportunity is really a gain or a guarantee that will get me out of His will. I know it can become hard sometimes and u long for fulfilment and gain, but are u really going to gain if u lose everything in the end from being outside of His will?

Season of Sincerity

Ephesians 4:1-3

1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

*We are called for many unique purposes in God's kingdom, but one of our more unified callings is to be our brother and sister's keeper. "Keeping" refers to sincerely having their back when needed be it for a good or bad situation. Also, providing anything that u can from simply a listening ear to a more tangible item if prompted by God to do so. Being gentle always  softens the heart and soothes the soul. U never know what a person is going through, and of course u know that u can win more flies with honey then u can with vinegar. So, even in correction u must walk in love. Think of how u would want to be treated in any given circumstance. Think of what aggravates u, what may come off as confusing or rude, or how u have wanted someone to be concerned just to know that someone cares. Now exercise the positivity of how to handle those situations towards those around u. It gives them peace and courage to know that in such a cold world, there is someone who can be SINCERELY loving...not just doing it begrudgingly because it feels like u have to because if that is your reasoning, then it is best if u didn't do it at all. God wants us to freely give tangible items to Him...how much more do u think He expects us to emphasize love, especially since He first loved us while we were in sin. This holiday season, think beyond yourself and your needs to FEEL the needs of someone else. Now exercise that feeling through love...u never know who is secretly in need of gentleness and crying out to u for it. U may be there last hope...

Thankful Thoughts

Matt. 5:5
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

*As u enjoy food, family, friends and/or quiet time, take one moment out of your festive day not to just thank God and reflect on your own blessings, but ask the Father to bless others as well. There are some who are better of then us this morning, but there are many who are a lot worse. Don't just count your own blessings, but reflect on ways to use those blessings to help someone else. Remember, being blessed goes beyond u...we are attached to others, and have the power to make a difference if we humble ourselves to God's guidance. This in turn not only helps others, but will impact the success of your future as well... Happy Thanksgiving. Eat a little something in dedication to all of us. ;-)

Thanksgiving

He deserves all the glory and all the praise because He will never leave you nor forsake you. Praise Him for what He has brought u through, and for what He is going to do!

The Author of Clarity

1 Corinthians 14:33
King James Version (KJV)
For God is not the author of
confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

*Every blessing from God is given through a smooth transition, and there is direction that comes with it on how to obtain it. How we take the direction, if we choose to follow it, and how we handle the direction and blessing determines if we receive that peace God promises us. God is not in the mode to make your life harder, nor does he set out to use gastepo tactics to give u added pressure. He is in the blessing business, but of course it requires obedience and submission. How we handle this period of edification often determines the smoothness of the transition. Don't beat yourself up if u have adjustment issues bc God is there to help u, but don't get these issues mixed up with confusion or whether or not He loves and cares about your needs either. Despite what ppl may believe, He cares about the least of things to greatest...He cares if u are being tempted to larger issues like if u are homeless. No problem is to big or small for Him to handle; therefore, He has no need to confuse u by picking or choosing what He is concerned about in our daily lives, or how u will be blessed to get over these things. Remember that things from God can't produce a negative and a positive at the same time. For example, someone who is a true friend cannot love and judge u at the same time constantly, otherwise u may want to review the friendship. Also, remember, things that are confusing or cause u to think twice may not be from Him...so, pray for discernment and receive your clarity.

Transparency Moment

Have you ever looked at other people and admired their situations, desired their blessing, and longed for your own situation to change? I know I have...I have even wondered if I had done something wrong or missed a window of opportunity because a person was able to receive the very blessing that I wanted at a quicker rate. Now, no one ever knows what people have truly and completely gone through to obtain their blessing...better yet, perhaps what you are viewing may not be an actually blessing at all. BUT, for whatever reason you just wished something positive would happen for you or turn in your favor. I understand and know how you feel.

I am currently in faith regarding the obtainment of not just any job, but the correct career move that will satisfy my heart and steer me on the correct financial path; I am believing God for my mate and working on wrapping my head around the fact that a man could exist that understands my way of thinking; and I am believing for a complete turn around in my family and friend connections...the desire for true love and connections that are not just based on selfishness or when someone wants something. Believe with me that God can turn our bad into a good, our confusion into clarity, and our desires into actualities. For faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1). Have faith, my friends, that the desires of your heart will be met (Psalms 37:3), and let's work together on remembering and trusting that God is not a man that promotes lies..He keeps His promises forevermore (Numbers 23:19).

Strength

If u fit this description, it says a lot about u.

The Insecurities of Judgment

Matt. 7:1
“Judge not, that you be not judged.

*Always remember that when u point a finger to judge someone else, u have three pointing back at u. The act of judgment is just the display of an insecure person who is trying to shift the spotlight of persecution off of themselves. Fix your issues before you try to fix someone else's. Remember, it is hard to take care of your own home when u consistently visiting and evaluating someone else's ...

Wisdom's Clarification

James 1:5-6

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him
ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with
no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

*Have u ever felt as though you aren't at the level that u should be at in your life? Perhaps u had plans to be further along, more established, more successful, married, have children, or have whatever your heart desired by a certain age or time. Or, perhaps u feel like every time u try to get ahead here comes something to hold u back. Perhaps it is time to ask God for wisdom on how to reach your goal, obtain information, or just on how to go outside your normal routine. The thief comes to stall and steal these ideas from u, but God wants us to have life more abundantly (John 10:10). Therefore, lengthy hold-ups, blockades, or long periods of stalling should not endure for more then a season. U can be aware of how long that season will last ,(Habakkuk 2:1-3), if you just ask God for wisdom on the subject that pulls on your heart. Be prepared for the answer, but know whatever is said is for your good and will provide u with peace and favor. Please, pray for my obtainment of more wisdom as I will do for your sake.

The Ability to Love

Matt. 22:37-39
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

*One of the amazing things about love is that it is a free gift...a gift that has the power to warm the heart and change even the coldest individual. Loving God, ppl, and yourself, are mentioned several times throughout the Bible. Do u know why? It is bc it is one of the most important entities that helps us survive. God knows we need love to keep us going, and help us overcome the cares and bitterness of the world. Most importantly, loving someone is an act of faith that opens the door of trust. By opening your heart to not just love, but be loved, u are allowing the protection layers of what u have gone through in life to come off in order to let healing and rebuilding begin. Now, imagine if u open your heart up completely to the Lord...He is waiting to love u, heal you emotionally, and bring you affirmations of love to show how much he appreciates your faith and ability to trust Him.

Notice the order of love in the scripture: We have to first love Him completely before we are able to truly love anyone else. Love God in order to not just love others, but to truly embrace and love yourself. U need confidence to love others, and God is the first that can assist u with this process. Plus, u never know what a person is going through, and who is waiting on u to open up in order to receive your love today...it could be your mate, family, friends, or someone u don't even know. Your life is not your own...u are attached to someone, so love, let go, and live.

A Hopeful Win

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

*No matter what u are going through, when life gives u a curve ball, you have Christ on the inside of u that can give u strength to knock it out of the park. It doesn't matter what the score is (how often this issue has occurred), what the opposing team says about your situation (those who speak negativity or do not breathe words of life over u), or how many times u have struck out (failed this test before): U still have the power to win the game by allowing God to change your mindset, and giving u the ability break the tie to pull through and win the game of life! Fill yourself with peace in knowing that God is on your team with supernatural capabilities. Rejoice in your current state, and already see yourself making a home run. You have to see yourself obtaining victory daily to activate your faith and have hope that things will change. U are on the winning team! Don't freak out and never trade sides! At the end of the day, no matter how much power (fun) the other team may be having, u will have the final victory in life bc every knee shall bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord. May u make the choice to proclaim this, and not be forced in the end. Have hope during your battles to win this war!

You are What You Speak

Romans 12:21

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but
overcome evil with good.

*Many ppl give in to evil, even if they are unaware of their acceptance for it. For example, everytime we tell ourselves that we are just human and are going to make mistakes, that's opening the door for the acceptance of making more mistakes in the future in that same area. Now, this is not to say that we are perfect, but your words are promoting future failure rather than just giving it your all and allowing God to naturally catch u when u fall...Don't promote the fall, and then continuously be surprised when it happens. (Trust me, I've done this too.) Even the admiration of evil or wrong doing is being accepting towards it. For instance, if u admire a star for having a baby out of wedlock, applauding a person who went off on someone, or admiring someone who promotes sex and/or negativity is the ability to be overcome by evil. Instead of falling in line with everyone else's acknowledgments, let's overshadow them with the promotion of good, the acceptance of what's right, and the desire to fill ourselves with Godliness...They say u are what u eat. God says u are what u speak...enjoy your Saturday!

Victory is Mine

1 Corinthians
15:57 King James Version (KJV)

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.

*Jesus died on the cross for all of sins; he was tempted on earth and went through transgressions in order to provide us with the ultimate example of how to handle an issue; and by His stripes that He suffered and endured we are healed not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and mentally as well. Therefore, we are fully equipped with the armor of Christ for any given situation, especially since he knows your strength and won't put more on you then u can bare. We just have to figure out how to obtain our personal victory by establishing a relationship with Him and asking for guidance. There is a master plan to what we may feel is madness, annoying, or unnecessary. U may even have the wrong perception of what u are enduring, but you won't know until u consult with Him and ask Him on how to obtain your victory. However,be ready to receive the answer of what u ask. U may very well receive a surprise, but know that it is the answer that will take u to a better phase of your life. Enjoy your weekend.

Revamp, Reshape, Re-do

Greater is Coming

1 Peter 4:16

16 Yet if anyone suffers as a
Christian, let him not be ashamed,
but let him glorify God in that name.

*As a Christian, we sometimes become embarrassed if we experience adversity. We may become embarrassed if we go through divorce, are jobless, if our accounts are not as we want them, are single, or not living the "fairytale" life that the world tends to place on those who are believers. However, this doesn't mean something is wrong with you. The chastisement is a test of your faith; your trial is a test of your faith; and how you act when going through it is also a test of your faith. As a friend has said, your altitude is determined by your attitude...so be positive, prayerful, and strong. That's not to say we don't have our emotional moments...I am definitely a witness of that...but, don't feel embarrassed if u go through things as a believer. Always believe that the bigger the adversity, the bigger the blessing. Let's keep each other uplifted.

A Distraction in Disguise

John 8:32

32 “And you will know the truth, and
the truth will set you free.”

*Sometimes it is not exactly easy to know or accept what's true, especially when it feels so right or you are in a tight place and need something. You may see an opportunity, assistance being offered, a connection that is made, or a gift that is provided as being a blessing or something that came right on time. However, that very thing could be something that is just pleasing to the flesh, will do until u can find better, or just serves as a flat out distraction that deters you from the real McCoy bka His perfect will. Pray to God to give u the truth behind everything and be anxious for nothing...the truth will set u free bc u will be open to receive what u truly are suppose to have, and not settle just for whatever u can get...

Don't Judge a Gift By Its Cover

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

*Never limit God capabilities by only seeing things how u think they should go...Sometimes we anticipate that a blessing will only come in one form. We believe that if it doesn't take on that form or doesn't present itself as a certain opportunity, then it may not be for us. However, sometimes the greatest packages come in the most simplistic gift bags. A person may also believe that they aren't worthy of lavish details, so they look for a blander formation of the desire of their heart. However, God loves u enough to give u the best he has to offer, which may very well come in Chanel or Prada wrapping. The point is that God is strategic in His thinking, and that he is capable of seeing and providing different avenues for your blessing or breakthrough beyond what u can imagine. However, u must be susceptible to His different methods. You must also humble yourself to accept them, and not be objective if they aren't created for your understanding...He wants to blow your mind...not just provide u with the norm. Don't miss out bc u couldn't figure it out...

The Beauty of God's Promises

Isaiah 52:7

7 How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good
news,
who publishes peace, who brings
good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

*Many ppl have the blues on Monday because it's time to go back to work, and their fun-filled weekend or relaxation time is over. However, everyday should be a day of giving thanks for waking up, counting your blessings, and being in expectation that the desires of your heart will be fulfilled today. How can you do that if u fall into the norm of sulking like everyone else? If u believe in the word and are doers of it, there should not be any sulking...u should maintain the joy of knowing that your blessing of relief is on its way, and have faith in the seeds that u have sown knowing that growth and harvesting are about to occur. If u haven't sown any seeds or need a pick-me-up of faith, know that it is never too late to start sowing...be it spreading the word, helping someone, paying tithes and offering, and sowing within yourself to cut out a bad habit or pray on an opportunity that will open doors for not just u, but others as well. Everyday is a day of good news when u believe in God and are obedient to Him bc He will never leave u or forsake u, and His word never comes back voided. Make it a great day!

Seeds Feed

It's always a blessing to see ppl supporting one another and sowing seeds of love...imagine what the harvest will look like...now imagine how annoyed the devil becomes based off of how many ppl u can feed with your crop! Love it!

Your Life is Not Your Own

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Or do you not know that your
body is a temple of the Holy Spirit
within you, whom you have from
God? You are not your own, 20 for
you were bought with a price. So
glorify God in your body.

*Your body is precious...it is the home of your spirit and inhabited by your Father in heaven bc u are created in His image. Therefore, since u were created by the The Most Divine and u have such a precious jewel that lives within u, u should recognize your worth and adhere to maintaining it. Don't inhabit your body with filth from the entertainment industry if it is tampering with your spirit, food that cuts your precious life span short, and things that altar your ability to make sound decisions and spirit filled judgment calls. All those are distraction that were designed for imprisonment, causing limitation on your potential, hinder your capabilities, and redirecting your focus to something that never required your attention. Treat yourself and your environment around u the way God views u: as a beautiful creation that He ordained to be His greatest masterpiece.  How can we love our neighbor as ourselves and bring spirits to Christ or receive all that God has for us if we can't even respect ourselves? U are so beautiful/handsome/gifted/courageous...don't pollute yourself with ppl and things that state otherwise, and do not fade into the crowd "normalcy"...let your light shine outwardly to reflect who u are destined to be within. Love u!

Submission

James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to
God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you.

*Looks like the topic of submission has been making its appearance known lately, especially for those of u that have been in attendance at Faith Christian Center (FCC) in Smyrna, GA. With submission comes order...order that is not necessarily showing u your place in the scheme of things, but providing u with guidance on how to humble yourself in order to receive and know how to handle something greater then where u currently are in life. U can even think of submission as a way for u to learn to exercise the treatment or respect that u wish to receive in the future. By subemitting to God, u allow Him intervene in your current situation and guide u to a place/person/ process that u were incapable of receiving or achieving by leaning to your own understanding. Submission is often a learning mechanism that is used to teach u how to operate and function in a circumstance thus providing stability;it allows u to be more susceptible to the ideas of someone else, particularly God who does not have the same thought process as u and wants u to have greater; and gives u a broader perspective beyond the limitation that the devil tries to bestow on u. Open yourself up to submission in order to open the door of opportunity, and receive all that God has for u. Remember the three O's to help u obtain your blessing: Openness, Order, & Opportunity...Enjoy your day. ;-)

It's All About Faith

A Full Circle of Completion

Philippians 1:6

6 And I am sure of this, that he who
began a good work in you will bring
it to completion at the day of Jesus
Christ.

*When God makes a promise, gives u a talent, establishes a covenant, or guarantees something, he does not forget about it. You will not be left out or not provided with instructions. God will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what it feels or looks like. The current is a test of faith, a push towards prayer, and the combo of the two helps to finish what God started in u. We just have to do our part to activate the rest. Through faith, prayer, and believing in the connection u have with God, u will know that special feeling or sign God gives u when u need direction, or are determining if u have peace about a situation or connection. I pray we all receive that peace that passes all understanding; I believe in the ability of his will being done in your life; and that every talent, idea, desire, and purpose will fully develop and clarity is provided on how to achieve or utilize your gifts.

Supernatural Strength

Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all things through him
who strengthens me.

*Our strength does not solely lie in how we feel, what we put in our bodies, the type of exercise plan we implement, or the support we have on a daily basis...it lies within our capability to activate our spiritual strength and look to God for our daily vitamin C, (better known as instructions), on how to carry out a plan of action or just how to conduct ourselves in general. With God, u are stronger then u believe...u are capable of withstanding things that would have tempted u in the past; u are more then a conqueror when it comes to facing trials; and u are incapable of failure when u look to the hills from where your help comes from, which is completely from God. As I go through trials and face some of the same test from past experiences, I am amazed how calm I feel, how I am capable of resisting negative alternatives, and how I refuse to settle. U too have that same power, and have probably executed this lifestyle more than u think. Sure, we have our moments of veering to the left or maybe peaking over the fence, but be proud of yourself for having those "it ain't worth it" realizations. Sisters and brothers, friends and family be strong and know u are more then what the world says u are...your value is more precious then u can comprehend. U are made in the image of God and have His capabilities. Look inside yourself to tap into that supernatural power, and be released from a simple mind in order to walk into greater!

God Has Not Forgotten

 Psalm 33:4-5

For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord .

*No matter how many negatives u encounter in a day, the Earth is still filled with the goodness of God. He sees the positivity u bring to it even when no one else does. He takes note of what's in your heart and what u are trying to do even when no one else sees or understands. His admiration and love for u never goes away, especially when u are doing the right things for His namesake. Hold on to his love and know that for every seed u sowed, every way u have honored His word, and every desire u have does not go unnoticed...for in righteousness is justice and alleviation for all.
