Living with a Purpose

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NIV)

21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

*No matter what you are involved in, what you may have done in the past, or no matter how independent u may feel, u still belong to God. He is calling u every minute of the day, and is asking you to be saved, seriously rededicate your life to Him, grow in Him, build a relationship with Him, and include Him in your decision making. I know it becomes hard, tempting to step outside of the guidelines, or perhaps you are unsure if you can completely dedicate yourself. However, God is not looking for perfection...He is looking for diligence and loyalty. He even wants to help you with things you struggle with daily. Trust me, WE ALL have things to work on. However, God can assist if you open up and truly try Him. There is no failure in trying...the failure is when you choose to assume and not completely let go and give it your best. Let Him do the rest....

Clarity Through the Holy Spirit

John 14:26-27(KJV) - 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

*It is important to pray in the Holy Spirit in order to receive the proper guidance, comfort, and lesson that needs to be implemented daily. As humans, we can only reason, rationalize, or see things as they are or how we think they will be to a certain extent. We are incapable of completely knowing the truth or reasoning behind every situation, or what is best for yourself, let alone for someone else. Therefore, go beyond your own thought process and understanding to receive the proper clarity, and God's full circle of what's best in the long run or why things happen. This is a form of receiving peace in times of trouble, clarity in times of misunderstanding, and guidance in times of questioning. To be honest with u, I would not be strong in my own circumstances or trials if it were not for praying in the Holy Spirit. You are praying divine secrets and mysteries when u pray in the Holy Spirit (1 CCorinthians 14:2). Therefore, I urge u to keep your sanity, obtain clarity, and receive the peace you deserve by speaking in tongues (The Holy Spirit) first before praying in your understood language, or ask God to give u this gift if u have never been able to do so. Holy Spirit Guidance

1 Corinthians 2:1-4

1 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

*I wanted u all to receive more of the word today, and be transparent with u: When I first came to God, I was like anyone else...not understanding His full capabilities, love, or protection. I knew that Jesus Christ died, and I trusted in that...from there, I desired to learn more bc I knew that there HAD to be more to this life then working, partying, sitting up home, and having mediocre hopes and dreams...I felt there was greater, but didn't know how to obtain it. However, with the exploration of digging deeper in the Bible and in Christ, I understood the ability to ask God for guidance and seek the Holy Spirit for understanding. This is why I was able to speak to u, not by using my own words, but those of the Father that is guiding me through the Holy Spirit. The best part is that u can do the same. Take the time to ask God into your life, and ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit and mean it from your heart. God does not have favorites if u diligently seek Him...if He did it for me, He can do it for u...BUT, with the capability to tailor it to your life making it unique. ;-)

The Prayer Asking for the Gift of the Holy Spirit:

"Father, your Word says that the Holy Spirit is a gift. He is a gift. I don't work for Him; all I do is receive Him. So Father, I receive, right now, as an act of my faith, the Holy Spirit, with the Bible evidence of speaking with other tongues."

Now, take a deep breath and begin to speak forth your heavenly language. Even if it is just a sound, believe you have received it. Practice each day, and the language will evolve. God bless you!
