Loyalty to Love

For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Psalms 100:5 NLT

God's love never changes no matter how much we change. His love is unconditional, even when we place conditions or stipulations on Him and His people. We have to learn to love like Him and let go,  even if you have to love from a distance. May our hearts grow in  God and be protected with His wisdom.

Pray Instead of Make Fun Of...

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior,

1 Timothy 2:1‭-‬3 NLT

Do you ever look at people and feel as though they don't know what they are talking about,  or ever wonder how on earth they are in their position based off of what comes out of their mouths? I know I have,  and I have often said things that I am not exactly proud of either. However, that is not a final depiction of that person's outcome. Whenever we feel that people don't know what they are doing, we must remind ourselves to pray for them rather than talk about them,  ignore them,  in the case of the election people create memes about them,  or distance ourselves from them. Someone has to peacefully pray for their guidance. Even coming off as a dictator in giving advice or trying to display quotes on social media to get a person's attention isn't right if your heart isn't... Instead,  pray for these individuals because God's guidance overrides the current situation,  and enhances the lack of wisdom.

Connections

Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.

Romans 12:15 NLT

Anything that occurs in life is not meant to be shared or done alone. Open up to let the right individuals love and help you. Ask God for the right company, and an open heart.

Remember Whose You Are...

Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Matthew 26:40‭-‬41 NIV

Even Jesus' closest connects failed Him,  and didn't have His back the way they should have... Yet, He was diligent in carrying out His purpose and submitting to God's will no matter what. In life, you may not always have support or people who cover you. That doesn't mean you are on the wrong path, or you should give up. Hold fast to what God told you, and know that He will see you through if no one else does. You know the truth.. Follow it, and don't allow people not being in line with your vision deter you...

True Love

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Colossians 3:12 NIV

One of the hardest things to do is to wear this outfit for people who do not appreciate, understand, or think in this manner... Or, even those who try to use this against you. Love is a hard garment to put on for people who don't care, or for one to wear it consistently in order to share this garment with the inconsistent. Everyday, I ask God to soften my heart because in the flesh there is a desire to protect it. I have yet to encounter consistent love from anyone...particularly outside of a parent,  but yet God has placed this in my heart... Yet,  I battle daily to fully let it out. I pray we all grow to use these tools consistently, and despite how we are treated or viewed. I know there is something deeper that God desires to show us because it is rare that people get to this level, but those who do are rewarded and most importantly go deeper in their calling.

Believing in Prayer

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Colossians 4:2 NIV

Be watchful because you trust that God will bring it to pass, and be thankful through faith that it's already done.

Strength During Weariness

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:30‭-‬31 NIV

Our daily strength to move on and forward,  particularly in God's will for your life, is not something we rely on men to consistently help with... Our strength comes from God. Everyday,  He has a new level He is trying to get us to reach, renew our minds,  and restore our ways back to the original truth of His promises vs the heartache and disbelief that the world has placed in our minds. It takes a desire and faith to want to move forward in this manner, and only that can be provided through a relationship with God. Let's pray for each other daily, and strengthen ourselves with His word.

Blessings of the Lord

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.

Psalm 37:7‭-‬8 NIV

*Seeing people obtain what you've always desired,  by their own means, is nothing to be envious about. The best things in life,  that are sustained, come from God. These things are also a part of your purpose, instead of being achieved for temporal gain. It's better to wait on God,  and allow Him to prepare you then obtaining something prematurely that may hinder your growth and create lack because you aren't sure how to handle or maintain it...

Words of Power and Love

roverbs 11:9 ESV

With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered...

*Whenever someone speaks negatively about an individual, they are showing the lack of godliness in that area.. Your words have power,  and what you say influences those around you and how they act towards you. You have the power to be loving, and be God's vessel of deliverance in order to guide them to salvation through love. Or, you have the power to tear down a person... Even if the poor discussion is done in secret, it takes your mind off the purpose of why God may have placed you in their lives. Let's work on changing or words in order to heal our hearts, and to better influence those around us.

Balance and Avoidance

Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 97:10 NIV

God is always protecting us.. Even from things and people we think are good, but aren't able to see the underlying issue. If we learn to move ourselves and own desires out of the way, God's guidance will supercede our fleshly choices. The Holy Spirit is their to protect us, give us the spirit of discernment,  and help create more spiritual awareness. Take advantage of the helper God created for the spirit realm, and be open to His guidance... It can save you a lot of unnecessary battles and keep your peace.

People of God

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14 NIV

Prayer : "Father God, Your love through Your Son Jesus makes us whole, complete, and lacking in nothing. Yet, when confronted with Your people, at times fear, hesitation, and distrust sets in. Help me to bear long and to bear hard with my sisters & brothers in Christ, so that we all may remain rooted and grounded in Your love. Teach me, Lord, to peel back and discard every disagreement, every conflict, every difference I have with believers until the only thing that connects us is Your love. Help me to see fellowship with believers from Your perspective …as a bond that will enhance and bring more of Jesus’ love into my life. Help me to remember that Your love is stronger to unite than anything that threatens to divide. In Jesus’ name. Amen." #HolyBibleDevotional

*This hit home for me today because I have issues with desiring to deal with people, especially those that hurt you and have no respect or regard for your feelings or thought process. It becomes tiring to try to reach God's people when you are met with selfishness, but yet we can't love Him and not love His people. I often think that hurts and pointing out the differences between people,  or being in a click is designed to further separate His people. None of this can stop your purpose,  if you don't let it... Especially if you pursue unity and soul winning.  May our temporary feelings not get in the way of our assignments and blessings, and may positive experiences with people help reap a harvest of consistent love through us verses dwelled upon hurts.
