Selfish Metamorphasis

Holy Spirit Thought: Selfishness derives from one's inability to be self conscious of anyone else's needs other than their own...They are incapable of knowing their self worth bc they are too busy chasing after self-fulfillment, which only leaves them in a self-centered circle alone. Please, recognize your ability to self engage in the lives and activities of others, not to show yourself as self righteous, but as a selfless individual that cares about the desires of others...this how u become self aware of God's plan for your life and how it can impact others beyond yourself... ;-)

The Shaping and Molding of Your Faith

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth , though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ...

*We are under trial daily...Our actions depict our beliefs. Whether this is an accurate portrait u are painting depends on whether u truly follow what u believe. Everyday we encounter different trials, be it thoughts that creep up in our minds, or physical elements outside of the body that tamper with our belief in God's promises for our lives, and what we know (based on His word) is the truth. However, people often have a hard time grasping and applying biblical elements to life as they know it. U may have heard or may have even said yourself that "we operate in the real world," or perhaps u are having spiritual warfare in being patient in waiting and obeying steps to walk in God's perfect will for your life..Leading to the possibility of settling for what is permissible. Please know these mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional battles are elements that are shaping and molding your faith...These are crafty concerns that are giving u the option to trust and Him to go to the next level, or fall into life as u know it and sadly choose to accept. Do not perish under fire. Hold on tight to the elements of faith, which consist of hope, love, and action to move forward even when u don't understand or do not believe in its existence. It is better to trust in Him and try all doors of possibility that He gives u, then be gripped with fear and be complacent. That way, when God shows up and shows out all praise and honor will only belong to Him because grace is sufficient and far more powerful then any human reliance.

Righteousness Overpowers Forever




Romans 5:20-21(ESV)
Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

*Where negativity dwells, there is also the increase of grace to allow alleviation. Grace is always more powerful then an evil attempt or sin, and God is always working things out for our good if we choose to love Him (Romans 8:28). Therefore, never be concerned about whether evil will overtake your situation or overshadow positivity. God offers grace to take care of even the darkest of situations and sin that may occur in our lives, but we must first seek righteousness...As the scripture says, grace also MIGHT reign through righteousness. Notice, that there is an option and the option is up to bc you have free choice to allow it to reign, or carry on with life as you know it. However, do u really want to limit yourself to the things u know and have experienced, or would u like the all knowing God to provide you many options? U decide...your limitations are based on your choices, and your choices determine whether God is completely in your situations or out....

We All Desire, But Can U Honor?

*We have heard this scripture quoted numerous times, but do we truly understand and know what it means? Everyday, we desire or maybe even expect specific treatment. We think that people should treat us a certain way or be gleeful about hearing from us, but ask yourself why do u feel that way? Why is there such a high expectation on how someone should treat or want to interact with u if u are not treating others with that same attitude? Also, it is our job to communicate our expectations to others. People do not know where u are coming from, or understand how u have been raised or done things unless u convey that information to them. Lastly, have u ever evaluated how u come off to people? Perhaps u desire to convey one attitude, but your behavior and communication may say another. There is a lot to consider when u are desiring or even demanding certain behavior from individuals. So, the next time u think of how u want to be treated and what u desire in any connection, ask yourself if u are honoring those desires for others.

Protection at Its Finest

Isaiah 41:10  fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

*Despite the things we get ourselves into, God still provides protection and gives us His righteousness. He does not chastise us or talk about us, and is still willing to offer leniency no matter what type of mess we decided to get ourselves into. Sure, there are consequences that can occur, but He is willing to be our knight in shining armor to save us from ourselves. He is also willing to give us strength during our tough or tempting times. I experienced that today: Despite my ignorance to remain safe or avoid temptation to do what I knew was best, He still covered me. God gave me strength to still praise Him despite my disobedience and the hardship I suffered. We should also remember that when u go through something and still encounter the ability to pray and/or worship Him, our strength has excelled to the next level bc we didn't allow anger and confusion to overshadow our circumstance. No matter what it looks like or how u feel u are to blame, don't be afraid to seek Him. Of course seek Him first before u implement things and all things shall be added (Matt. 6:33), but if u have gone past that point He is still waiting to protect and restore just due to the simple fact that u did not yield to fear. Our God is so awesome!

Wisdom Wellness

Proverbs 4:6-7
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.  Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding...

*Getting wisdom from God saves us a lot of time, money, frustration, and effort that we would otherwise endure or waste if it were not for His guidance. Think about it: How many times have u felt something deep inside u that has tried to warn u not to do something, or tell u to give the idea a second glance? Yet, u went ahead and did it anyway....Think about what it cost u, and how did u feel afterwards? U may have even found yourself saying that if only u would have went with your first mind...Well, that "first mind," hesitation, or second glance was the Holy Spirit trying to warn u. Also, the Holy Spirit can try to give u wisdom to do and accept good things as well. Do u ever wish you would have taken an opportunity, told someone how u felt, or moved forward with an idea? That too can be a prompting from the Holy Spirit. Know that when u pray, which I hope u choose to, u can ask God for guidance and wisdom about anything and anyone. He loves u so much, that He cares about every little or big aspect of your life. However, it is up to us to invite Him in to assist us. No topic is too big or small be it what u should wear to whether or not u should take a medication. U will feel that release of information and peace in guidance that will order your steps. Sometimes asking will cause u to have to make changes and remove things...It may even cost u life as u knew it, but guess what? These people and things will be replaced with greater ones, giving u the life u were always suppose to have before you were caught in the devil's complacent box. With wisdom comes the opportunity to take action, but u must be willing and open to move forward for God's sake. We have not because we ask not (James 4:2-3), so why aren't u asking for wisdom and guidance?

Speak and It Shall Be...

Psalms 141:3 (NIV)

Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips...

*People are so use to give their opinion, advice, or recommendation...It often comes out naturally, especially if we think we are enlightening and/or helping someone. However, we need to be more in tune as to what should be said if anything at all. Remember, an opinion is just what it implies: an opinion...Better known as a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge (as listed in Webster's Dictionary). Therefore, it is often not necessary to give your opinion even when asked. Remember, your thoughts are not those of the Father neither are your ways (Isaiah 55:8); therefore, how can u speak on something u do not have full knowledge of and have not been led to speak on by God? Perhaps He has a plan that u never dreamed of, but u putting your two cents in it could be the icing on the cake toward's ruin. Remember, there is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Therefore, if u are going to speak at all, speak life into the situation. After all, you have the power to make changes based on what u say...Why not speak with a positive force? Has being negative ever gotten u where u want to really be in life?

A Peek Into the Greatness of Being Meek

Titus 3:2 ESV
To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

*This verse discusses your ability to be meek towards each other. When people think of being meek, they often correlate this with being weak. However, this is not the case. This is the true ability to be humble towards one another, and treat each other with kindness. In a world where there is so much pride, puffy attitudes, comparisons, or people being belittled it is hard to come across humility and sincerity. If u are blessed to come across a person who is meek, I have often found that the person's motives are often questioned or wonderment occurs as to whether that individual is real or not. This is the trick of the world that has allowed u to believe that poor attitudes and pride are normal, while true kindness and sincerity doesn't exist. Rather then question things of this nature, ask God why u have been blessed to encounter such an individual or even more so be that individual. Could it be that your meekness was a gift to inspire those who are lost to feel the love of God; to encourage others and help them realize that true love and sincerity does exist? Rather then fade into the norm of gossip, belittling others, challenging someone, or acting out of anger, you should try doing the opposite. After all, you can win more bees with honey then u can vinegar...Plus, it takes more energy to be prideful and angry, and more patience and self control to walk in love and humility. Which would u like to master? Better yet, which has gotten u further in God's plan for your life?

Matters of the Heart

Jeremiah 17:10 (KJV) - I the LORD search the heart, [I] try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.

*When u do things, u have to ask yourself why? Why are u giving, performing a certain action, speaking on a certain topic, and implementing anything in general? Your heart will tell you the true reason behind why u do things or even act the way u do. U aren't the only one who is aware of the motive behind your actions...God is also aware, and He knows whether or not your intentions are pure and line up with His word (the Bible). He is capable of viewing the true intentions of the heart whether u desire Him to or not; therefore, be mindful of your motive and the true reason for carrying out an action. You will be rewarded based on that reasoning and not just for the action in itself. That's why God tells us to guard our hearts because the reason behind why we do things stems from what we have allowed to come inside of us (Proverbs 4:23). What u allow yourself to be surrounded by or susceptible to effects your mindset and the passions that fill your heart. These ideas and desires leak out in the form of actions and our attitudes. Therefore, ask God to purify your heart (Psalms 51:10) and be honest with yourself. The level of honesty u admit to today dictates what type of blessing u receive later. Actions speak louder then words, so act according to the word of God with asking for a pure heart.

#U cannot be upset if things do not come out as expected when your motive is right.

Free Spirited

The best advice given is one that does not seek likes or attention, but advice that is posted for the pure sake of helping others; one of the best gifts given is one that is inspired to put a smile on someone's face, rather then constantly looking for something in return; and the best connections made are those who reach out freely rather then those who need to be motivationally inspired to see if u reach out first...

Flesh and Spiritual Divide

Galatians 5:16-17 (ESV)
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

*Have u ever heard someone say or had a feeling that u aren't suppose to be doing something, but u desire to do it anyway? That would be one of many arguments that are provoked by the division between the flesh and Spirit. Due to the nature of sin and death, our flesh is drawn to things that are forbidden, the ones that go against the grain, or are just down right sinful in nature. The present desire and feeling of it is good, but the consequences reek havoc on us later. This is a well-rounded feeling for anything bad be it sin, bad eating, a poor mindset, or just a bad thought in general...it is the nature of the beast that draws to curiosity, which can truly kill the cat. Yet, praise God for our Spirit that has the ability to choose self-control, protection, and worse case scenario the ability to seek forgiveness and redemption. However, following God keeps us from stumbling and going through unnecessary hardships that may lead to a lifetime consequence. So, before u act u should think before u do...measure your thoughts with your intuition better known as your guidance from the Holy Spirit. Then ask yourself if it is really worth it...Is it, even if u know what God promised u? U are with the wait, and the wait is worth being in God's perfect will. Time is winding up with all that is happening in the world. Wouldn't u rather be on the right side of the tracks just to be sure?

Loving Guidance for the Success of Believing

Romans 10:14
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching...

*Sometimes there is a lot expected from the unbeliever to even a growing Christian. People want to throw the book, (Bible in this case), as if the person is in an interrogation room and force them to adhere to what it is saying, but how can u expect such a thing when that person may not have nearly as much familiarity with God and His capabilities as you? Better yet, as a seasoned believer, u may want to evaluate your witnessing behavior and your love walk if u are behaving in this manner. We can't go around telling people what they can't and cannot do unless God has specifically given us the words and methods of doing so. U also need to live the walk yourself. If how u approach someone contradicts what u stand for, be it positive or negative, this could have negative representation not just on u but on the Father as well. When u know better, u do better; therefore, your method of witnessing needs to come from God with love and not contradict what u are saying, (E.g, Constantly representing or admiring a secular nature while trying to show others the way). Also, if u are an unbeliever or believe and do not practice your faith as you should, how can u criticize someone that is truly trying to help u better yourself if u refuse to fully investigate God? U can't critique a method if u don't investigate where that person is coming from, or if you are unaware of what the Bible is truly about...Let's consider each other's feelings before we start throwing the book at people. There is a time and place for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)...Even Jesus knew when to use a stern demeanor, but He mostly walked in love.

Preparation

Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

*There are many people who say and believe in the fact that we should live each day like it is our last, but do u truly know what that means? It is referring to not just taking advantage of every opportunity or living life to the fullest, but it is also referencing your ability to prepare for the coming of Christ. Spend time asking yourself how u can get closer to Him, how not to look at a time or work as another opportunity to just do the norm or get a paycheck. What can u do to make a difference in your life and connection with God before He returns to gather those who know and served Him? Better yet, what can u do to create awareness to others on the importance of not just preparing financially, emotionally, or physically for the taking...but spiritually as well? Sometimes people believe there is a conscious effort being made in not taking advantage of preparing yourself for life and connecting with Christ. However, sometimes it is our subconscious ability to be susceptible to habit...We are creatures of habit. We have a habit of waking up and doing the same old routines, yet we wonder why we aren't further in life. We may desire more, but yet we get into the habit of lack of preparation or the lack of seeking God for assistance or approval. Let's get out of our habits, and make haste in realizing that we don't have all the time in the world to get our lives together...Rather, time is winding up...what will u tell God u did or will u express what u didn't do?

The Power of the Love of God

2 Thessalonians 3:5

5 May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

*Being steadfast is referencing the ability to be steady or unchanging. So, the scripture wants us to be drawn to the love of God, and realize that Christ does not change unlike some of our human counterparts. Therefore, Christ is trust worthy and should u decide to give your heart completely to Him, u don't have to worry about it being broken or your trust being taken for granted. God can even assist you in avoiding many headaches and hardships in life, which u will endure if u live a life that does not seek His full guidance. He loves u and wants to protect you. He is also willing to guide u, and provide u with opportunities and connections that go beyond anything u can imagine. However, u have to take the first step and allow yourself to be drawn to Him. We all have questions and concerns as we go through life. Wouldn't it be nice to start receiving answers from someone that sincerely cares about your wellbeing, and receive peace while u are here to endure on Earth?

Always remember that things are only as complicated as u choose to make them, as irritating as u allow them to be, and as fulfilling based on your utilization...u are a product of your mindset, so think outside the box...;-)

Explanation of Re-dedication and Receiving Assistance

1 John 1:9 ESV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness...

*Many people carry on through life not being aware or ever using God's full potential to deliver u. In order to know the capabilities of deliverance  and blessings, u have to first realize whether or not u want Him to fully come into your life. Then, u have to take the time to admit the issues (sins) and problems that u need help with...U see, it is easy to say we love God and choose Him, but have really dedicated ourselves to Him? I'm not talking about being perfect, (no one will be by the way...we are made perfect through our efforts of seeking and living righteously)....I'm talking about establishing a consistent connection where u aren't just turning Him off and on like a light switch bc u need something or u are curious for one minute. First, u have to be humble enough to admit that life without God is nothing and that u have sins that u need Him to forgive and help u with(we all do)...then u will need to invite Him in your life to consistently help u daily. As the end of time nears, as the world continues to experience mayhem, and as u go about your day wouldn't it be nice to have more protection and guidance? Wouldn't u like to experience life to the fullest? Let God in today by praying to Him to forgive u, asking for His guidance in areas that concern u, and believing Him for the answer even before they occur. What are u waiting for?

Adversity Test Passed

Sometimes the closer u get to God, the more adversity will come your way..don't be moved by what u see physically, but only what u see spiritually.

2 Corinthians 5:7.....Tonight, I avoided death and so did others in my apt building. There was a major gas leak in the building..imagine what God has in store this year. ;-)

Humble New Beginnings

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

*Sometimes it is as simple as putting ourselves aside in order to receive release and restoration. If we are still holding on to our ideas, sins we love, and grudges then this could be the very issue that can stop us from transitioning to the next level. It takes a lot to let go of what u know to completely trust God, but it is well worth it. Plus u have to ask yourself, "Is my way truly working for me anyway? Is it getting me any further in life or closer to my goal?" Sometimes a transition takes opposition, allowing us to get away from life as we know it to embrace the life we hope for. This is not to say that u can't enjoy life...there is just a clearer way of understanding fun without negative consequences. Humble yourself today for a new beginning tomorrow.

Holy Spirit Guidance

1 Corinthians 2:1-4

1 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

*I wanted u all to receive more of the word today, and be transparent with u: When I first came to God, I was like anyone else...not understanding His full capabilities, love, or protection. I knew that Jesus Christ died, and I trusted in that...from there, I desired to learn more bc I knew that there HAD to be more to this life then working, partying, sitting up home, and having mediocre hopes and dreams...I felt there was greater, but didn't know how to obtain it. However, with the exploration of digging deeper in the Bible and in Christ, I understood the ability to ask God for guidance and seek the Holy Spirit for understanding. This is why I was able to speak to u, not by using my own words, but those of the Father that is guiding me through the Holy Spirit. The best part is that u can do the same. Take the time to ask God into your life, and ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit and mean it from your heart. God does not have favorites if u diligently seek Him...if He did it for me, He can do it for u...BUT, with the capability to tailor it to your life making it unique. ;-)

Who Says Progress Has to be a Slow Process?

2 Peter 3:9 ESV
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

*Many times people find themselves wondering when is God going to move? Others have thought that with all that is going on in today's world, my issue is on the bottom of the food chain and I shouldn't trouble God...Or, perhaps you are one of those who may pray for something, but have not received yet; therefore, you believe that perhaps it isn't meant to be because God didn't answer my prayer. However, go back and examine these inquiries...now examine your lifestyle. Could it be that you are the individual that is causing your blessing to be withheld? Could it be possible that you haven't fully admitted that there are a few things that need to be fixed and tightened up in order for you to receive your full manifestation?

God is not slow, or it is not that He doesn't desire to answer your prayer or meet your needs. Sometimes, He does so despite the fact that we may not deserve it...that's where His mercy comes in. Yet, sometimes it requires us to go the extra mile and demonstrate that we are capable or even ready for what we are asking to receive. Think about it: If u haven't organized yourself, cleaned up your mess, or demonstrated the capabilities to fix what u currently are dealing with then why would He add to it? Even more so, if we are in sin and have not even humbled ourselves to ask for forgiveness and allow God in to fix our situations, how can we ask Him to give us something when we can't even admit the truth to Him. God is waiting on u to get ready be it by repenting, inviting Him in, or clean up what we already have...Your progress is the process that determines your success rate. Whether it is a slow process is up to u.Take care of business now to avoid more future delays.

Actions Speak Louder Then Words

Sometimes nothing profound has to be said or nothing intellectual has to be demonstrated...just do u and let it be...your actions will speak volumes, especially when God is doing the directing...#WhoCaresAboutTheRest

You Are What U Choose to Dwell On The Most...

Always remember that your ideas are based on your environment, your beliefs are based on your experience, your hope is based on the desires of your heart for change, and your faith is based on your connection with God...All these can be altered, each presents change, and the amount of change is based on how much influence you allow each to have in your life. U are what u invest in, so fully investigate each before you come to a conclusion about your life...

Realism of a Heart's Desire

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

*Do u ever feel like something is missing in life? Like what u have is not enough, or like there is more to life then meets the eye? That is the calling that God has placed on your life that is tugging on your heart, and your heart's desires trying to come out. Life is not as it seems...it is only what people choose to settle for, and what others have brainwashed them into believing. The desires of your heart are not something you settle for or are short lived. They are elements of motivation that God has placed in u to carry out and succeed in if u trust in Him, and invite God into your plans. Learn to think outside the box...ppl say certain things can't exist only because they have never experienced them or have not had something like that before...That doesn't mean that it is not real or does not exist. You can have whatever you desire if u choose to do the right thing to obtain your desires. Don't limit yourself because you don't understand, are afraid, or have become complacent with the standards set by the world. Fear is what keeps faith from manifesting, but yet faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1). Don't be limited by what u see, but embrace life as it could be...Life is what you make it as you see fit to believe in the desires of your heart. God is waiting to help u obtain those desires if u are willing to let Him in, and not be limited by the cares of this world. Aren't u tired of the same old thing???

Surrender and Surround Yourself with the Full Manifestation of Love

Romans 8:37-39  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*There is NOTHING that can keep us from receiving the love God. His love is endless, and is always waiting for you to truly grab hold of it, and experience it for the taking. No matter what u have done, how recent or long ago the event occurred, or regardless to how u feel about the person or thing, you are not bound by that...u are always welcomed back by God to fix and restore the situation. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. It is there even when u choose not to accept it. God knew what you were going to do before you did it. Therefore, don't live in darkness of not experiencing the FULL manifestation of God's love...allow yourself the opportunity that can last a lifetime.

Relationship Evaluation

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

*Ever notice how some people take a "me, myself, and I approach" when it comes to any type of relationship? It is almost like a connection is no longer a valid source of enjoyment, long-lived, or about growing together. It runs more on the lines of what can a person do for you, how they can impact your life, and how you are unwilling to truly compromise or heaven forbid have to change something for someone other then yourself. Flexibility is often a hard thing for some ppl to master because they often do not understand the definition of the word "relationship," or understand themshelves and how God sees u. Plus, truly putting yourself aside and loving someone else takes work.

 That's why individuals break up, divorce, or get rid of people after a certain point because they are afraid of a challenge that may not necessarily benefit just themselves, but impact another individual. A person is afraid to latch on to what is considered work because perhaps they are lazy in how they handle themselves, afraid of judgment of their own traits, or cannot fathom the idea of completely surrounding to the needs of an individual. Perhaps what scares you is the responsibility of being connected and having to care about someone other then yourself...So, they over-compensate by keeping company they should get rid of, choosing to keep habits that only benefit themselves, and always having a backup plan vs allowing God to move within the primary agenda. Many give up on meeting someone in the middle bc they are afraid of vulnerability, but God says don't give up. He wants us to encourage each other no matter how funky an attitude may be that you encounter;He wants u to let go and be vulnerable with Him in order  find strength to help and be vulnerable with others; and help you remember that the day is approaching when u will experience judgment based on your selfish or selfless capabilities. At the end of the day, so many people want a relationship...BUT, do u fully know what that means? It requires work, sacrifice, and maintenance just like a car or any other prize possession...Are you willing to maintain it or abuse it to only find yourself alone and missing out?

The Guidance of Forgiveness

*Many people are afraid to go to church, submit to God, or abide by His will because they feel they have messed up, are in too deep, or have to be perfect to walk in righteousness. However, God already covered our imperfections through His resurrection and wants to embrace you with open arms. What's even more astounding is His ability to know you will mistakenly mess up, which is why He sacrificed Himself in the first place...He was aware of what was taking place over 2,000 years ago and what will take place in the future. His grace and mercy is sufficient enough to forgive you, so stop doubting yourself. You can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13), so why are you hesitant to try a positive lifestyle? Even more so, why be afraid of complete change? Think about it: Having one foot in and one foot out only creates confusion. Living in your current state hasn't gotten you further; therefore, why not completely try something new? What's even more amazing is that God sees your heart...He sees what your true desire is, how much you want to let go, and how you are willing to do your best. He knows that deceit is not a willing trait of your heart. Therefore, step out on faith and face the possibilities of letting go and trying something new. Even more so, learn to trust yourself. You are capable of more then you think, so don't lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Explore in greater detail what is challenging u or making you afraid in order to replace fear with faith, and receive something/one u have always needed that has only been held back bc you were afraid of a challenge you are capable of handling.

Unnecessary Arguments

2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ...

*Have you ever had a discussion with an individual who felt that going to church was not important? Perhaps you have encountered people who feel that people take the Bible too seriously or misconstrued its meaning. You may have even had someone say it is not all about church or what is printed in the Bible bc it doesn't include everything anyway, but it is more about your relationship with God...Yet, interesting enough, that very person who felt that way barely takes the time to connect to God,  doesn't really understand the capability of living godly, or may bend the rules in order to still enjoy unholy things. These are lofty things that God often refers to...things that are meant to derail you, distract you from your walk or from being saved, or even meant to confuse you in order to remove you from a strong base and make u more vulnerable to the enemy. Don't allow lofty conversations of those being used by the enemy to keep you from fully exploring the truth for yourself. Also, if u are a participant don't allow yourself to be used. The point is whether or not u are truly obeying God and avoiding sin. People who feel persecuted by their actions are often the main ones who are willing to argue about a point, which can also include Christians. Ignore strife and lofty information that is only meant for the purpose of derailing u and explore the truth for yourself. We all know what it's like to be lost, go in a circle of frustration, and miss your blessing. Do u REALLY know what it's like to COMPLETELY trust in God and win for a change?

*Transparency momenty:

I consider myself to be a kind-hearted, friendly person that treats others how I would like to be treated. At times, I become tired and want to rebel against being bothered, especially with females. For me, it was always easy to deal with males. They were fun, not complicated, and pretty direct unless there was a hidden agenda to date me. Yet, I longed for estrogen. However, I became tired of the stares, jealousy, and annoyance felt from others because I tried to love them. Therefore, I eventually adopted the "the if you are not speaking to me, then I do not have to be bothered with you" attitude. However, that behavior is definitely not Godly. I have even prayed for strength to deal with the feminine attitude of jealousy, which I cant understand. My thing is if she is pretty, doing well for herself, or if she has traits you admire then why not compliment her? If she is friendly with you, then why give her the stank face in return? Neverless, I find that women, especially those that call themselves Christians, are the worst at showing themselves friendly. Even I, the bubbley person who tries to understand the other person's perspective, starts to fall short of wanting to be nice to these women who know better. Yet, God continues to bring them my way as a test, even when I do not want to be bothered.

Now, please know that every woman is not meant to be your bff or friend. However, that factor should not stop you from being kind.I am sharing this with you as a moment to be honest, but also to make us all aware of our attitudes. What is sadly amazing is that it is easy for those who claim to love God to treat each other poorly, while people who do not know anything about Him can often be the kindest. Sounds like an issue, right? Let us pray for one another and practice what we preach, especially in this area. How can we expect to bring the lost in with love if we cannot even show ourselves friendly to one another? So, women if you are reading this, regardless of your age, race, beliefs, or demeanor, know that I am praying for us all and you are beautiful. Uplift one another because the very person you snub today may be your test tomorrow...or, perhaps the attitudes we portray keep us from receiving our connective blessings that we may need the most. Love u, and love others...

Protecting You for Your Best Interest

Psalm 121:7-8

7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

*God wants to protect you from all elements of harm and danger all the time, but we have to welcome Him into our lives and circumstances in order to completely receive His covering. Sure, He naturally watches out for us. However, He cannot be your body guard unless you are willing to be protected. Not only do we have to make the choice to invite Him in, but we have to be willing to take protective direction from Him as well. This means listening and obeying the suggestions He provides. We often subject ourselves to unnecessary hardships when we participate in events, surround ourselves with people, or sin when we don't even have to go that route. God is not trying to keep you from having fun, but there is a time and place for everything. More importantly, there is a right and wrong way of doing things. For instance, not having sex before marriage wasn't designed to keep you from trying out "the good stuff," but a way to help u avoid connecting to the wrong spirit, avoid diseases, and to avoid an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. Keeping u out of the club doesn't mean u can't enjoy gatherings, but the warning is a way to keep u from an atmosphere where the enemy is free to do whatever He likes including cause hostile and deadly situations to occur. Listen to the voice deep inside yourself...the one that keeps pulling on your heart. Are u participating in something u shouldn't that could lead to more hardship, or are u not doing something u should that could connect you to a blessing? Remember, what u choose to do is a reflection of you...

Do What You Should and Not What You Want

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile...

*In the words of Mya Angelou, "When you know better, you do better." The same applies to the given scripture: God understands that no one is perfect; otherwise, there wouldn't have been a need forJesus to die for our sins. However, that doesn't mean that u have free reign to consider to do the same things over and over again. Being in sin and not properly seeking God will have its consequences and will cause more struggles. It is not to say He won't forgive you, but you have a choice and the consequences from those choices are undeniable. When you do your best to seek God, even when u stumble, your efforts are still rewarded bc you are giving it your all and trying. But, when u willingly toe the line of sin or decide to let others do the work while you do what u believe is best, then you will be leaning on your own understanding and suffer the consequences for such behavior. So, if u know better then do better bc being stuck in a rut doesn't get you anywhere. What it does get you is desperation and eagerness, which leads to poor judgment and unsound decision making. Serve Him to the fullest and dedicate yourself to Him in order to reap the fullness of what He has for you.

Having Faith in Love Leaves No Room for Fear

It's interesting how when u are putting your energy into the future, elements of your past tend to resurface...but I shall not be moved! I will trust that my heart will no longer be broken, but placed in the hands of the man that God has saw fit to choose. I believe that salvation will occur for those I love bc victory is already won through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (John 3:16), and I will not give in to fear. Instead, I will replace my doubts with faith that God will protect me from evil (2 Thessalonians 3:3)...#PrayingDaily4Strength

Life as We Know It vs Life as We Should Have It

*Regardless to whether you are born again or not, your soul is still drown to God. The more u allow yourself to find out more, know, and understand Him, the more u will draw closer to Him. You just have to ask yourself how close do u want to get? Many times, people sell themselves short and cannot receive an intimate connection with God as well as the complete blessings He has for us bc we become too consumed with life as we know it and not what it has the potential to be...There is the possibility of being completely provided for, not always struggling, reaching out to people u never thought u could be around, and experiencing blessings beyond your understanding of how you are "suppose" to live life if u only let go and follow Him. Instead, we allow others to dictate how deep our connection should be, how we have to suffer or "hustle" in order to have something, how we are suppose to stay away from the unsaved when u were once there yourself, or we allow the sinful elements of what we enjoy doing to keep us from God's promises. Can you live with knowing that the individual who stopped u from getting to that next level was u?..U excepting life as u have learned it in this corrupt world vs life as God wants to provide for u. As long as u have breath in your body, there is always time for change. However, it is not change as u know it, but change in the way God dictates it if u seek Him earnestly and ask Him. Remember, you can't expect new results by continuing to implement old behaviors...

Diligence in Giving

Luke 6:38 (KJV)
Give and it shall be given unto u; good measure,pressed down,and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete within it shall be measured to you again.

*In order to receive, you must open your hand and be able to give. An occupied space is unable to receive if there is no room provided by the recipient. However, notice that there is an emphasis not just on giving, but the measure of your giving. This often refers to how u give and the consistency of your giving. If u give sparingly, then u will only receive sparingly(2 Corinthians 9:6). If u give something with a grudge, then others may hold the same temperamental grudge with u when u ask for something. If u only contact ppl when u need something, then guess when u will be contacted? If u never pay your tithes to help God's house, how can u expect to receive help in your time of need? Your pockets are cursed when u know better and refuse to do better (Malachi 3:8-9). However, if u do the opposite of these things, u will always receive assistance and it will run over bc of your diligence. Remember, the average person loves to withdraw from ppl, but never make a deposit. This doesn't necessarily include money, but your time, how u treat others, your faithfulness to God, and other behaviors that u may lack in or do not contribute to...particularly through love. Be above average! Remember, if u keep taking from the well and never replenish, it will run dry. However, if u deposit into someone's love bank, spiritual heart, have financial accountability, and obedience to God in general when it comes to giving, then an overflow will always come your way...Don't be used, be led; don't be stingy, but be open to possibilities and all God has in store...

Nothing New Under the Sun

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

*Temptation of any kind always provides freedom of choice. No matter what an individual may think, they are never forced to do something during a tempting situation. Temptation is just what it implies: A situation that is baiting/tempting you to participate, but at the end of the day it is your final decision as to whether or not you will be a part in that situation. Sometimes certain situations don't deserve a response, do not need to get our attention, or should not even be acknowledged. Other times may require u to speak words of power over the issue to show that u cannot be overtaken by it, your feelings may have to be communicated, or u may find that an examination is necessary in order to uncover how to stay out of situations of that nature. At the end of the day, someone has been in the tempting situation u are currently experiencing, and they have made it out be it unscathed or suffering the consequences. The choice is yours as to what u choose and who u seek counseling from; however, always remember that we don't have to suffer certain hardships if we only chose not to bring them on ourselves.

Spiritual Covering

Ephesians 6:11 ESV
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

*As the Holy Spirit prompted me to review scriptures on spiritual warfare and not settling for less today, this well-known verse stuck out...particularly the word "whole." Whole brings to mind words like "entirety," "all," and/or "fullness." The fact that this word sticks out is sending up a notice that the Spirit wants us to completely cover ourselves daily as we go out into the world...in other words, be fully prepared and equipped spiritually like u are mentally, socially, emotionally and/or financially for the tasks u plan to take on that day. Do not leave yourself spiritually vulnerable to be attacked from any angle bc that vulnerability always evil to sneak end and steal your wants, kill your desires, and destroy your success rate of being focused completely on God. U see, some believe that just going to church alone and participating in a spiritually motivated events covers them while they expose themselves to elements of evil including but not limited to the hustle mentality of "trying to make it;" the desires of things that hinder the body including the love of money, sex, drugs, lies, and other elements that hinder our walk; but then we expect a FULL COVERED turn around in the new year when we haven't fully equipped ourselves with God. Don't settle for being half covered by His grace, wasting more time doing the same old things, or settling for mediocre items when God gives us the capabilities to receive exceedingly, abundantly, and above all we ask for (Ephesians 3:20). Just pray and study His word to know how u can better equip yourself for life's situations, and how we can cover each other. I personal welcome prayer to help strengthen myself in the Lord.

The Protection of Christ

Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”

*Every word God has spoken in the Bible, through the use of other people by the Holy Spirit, or the feeling of knowing what is the right thing to do inside of yourself is a word that is meant for guidance. This is guidance used to protect you like a shield, and not make life boring or paint an image that you are suppose to be perfect. God provides insight and regulations in hopes of sparing you from unnecessary hardship, and protect you from the elements of evil that are used to steal, kill, and destroy daily. Think about the consequences of doing what you want to do vs what you should be doing...If it feels right but it is wrong, then you probably aren't suppose to be taking part in that situation or being with that individual. Always remember that God is not the author of confusion and he lives in us. Therefore, do not be misled by anything u have already received warnings for...

Prosperity and Responsibility Quest


Deuteronomy 8:18 - But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day..

*As a new year's resolution or a quest in life in general, many have declared they will receive and/or find a way to be prosperous...particularly from a financial perspective. However, do not allow your quest for riches or more money in general to overshadow the fact that God is the one who motivates u to strive for betterment. He is the one that blesses u to wake up each day, urges u gently to never give up and press forward, and gives u the current talents that u own and can utilize to become prosperous. More importantly, think outside yourself and how u can utilize your talents and gifts for His kingdom and to earn more talents. This will in turn depict your responsibility towards how u are currently utilizing your gifts and drive in order to be entrusted with more. After all, if u can't use your voice, pay tithes, help others, or just be led by God in what your currently have, what makes you think you will receive more?

The Clarification of Wisdom

10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. 12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, 13 who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, 14 who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, 15 whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.

*Seeking wisdom from God is a preventative measure of keeping u from elements of confusion and evil. God's way does not provide confusion or bring about any evil elements. The knowledge He gives u for making decisions and taking part in events is clearly provided, encourages u regardless to the circumstance, and is pleasant to your soul bc u know the end result. His guidance is not like a light switch that can be turned on when u need it and turned off when u want to go and do perverse things in the world. His guidance is always given... It is just up to us if we are going to follow it to receive all He has for us, or if we are going to bend the rules for the purpose of catering to our own understanding that will eventually lead to our demise. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life...(Romans 6:23).
