A Peek Into the Greatness of Being Meek

Titus 3:2 ESV
To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

*This verse discusses your ability to be meek towards each other. When people think of being meek, they often correlate this with being weak. However, this is not the case. This is the true ability to be humble towards one another, and treat each other with kindness. In a world where there is so much pride, puffy attitudes, comparisons, or people being belittled it is hard to come across humility and sincerity. If u are blessed to come across a person who is meek, I have often found that the person's motives are often questioned or wonderment occurs as to whether that individual is real or not. This is the trick of the world that has allowed u to believe that poor attitudes and pride are normal, while true kindness and sincerity doesn't exist. Rather then question things of this nature, ask God why u have been blessed to encounter such an individual or even more so be that individual. Could it be that your meekness was a gift to inspire those who are lost to feel the love of God; to encourage others and help them realize that true love and sincerity does exist? Rather then fade into the norm of gossip, belittling others, challenging someone, or acting out of anger, you should try doing the opposite. After all, you can win more bees with honey then u can vinegar...Plus, it takes more energy to be prideful and angry, and more patience and self control to walk in love and humility. Which would u like to master? Better yet, which has gotten u further in God's plan for your life?
