Remember Whose You Are...

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2 NKJV

*God is our source and our protection. We have to work on realizing that if God is for us, who can be against us? He never fails, and through the good or bad, He never leaves or forsakes us. Let go of fear, and give thanks to God while trusting in Him.

Pacing Ourselves in God

So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalms 90:12 NKJV

*May our hearts and minds be synchronized with the time frame of wisdom,  rather than rushing. It is so easy to push pass the process in order to fulfill our to-do list, or pause because the to-do list is too long. Trust God to order your steps...We need Him every step of the way.

Spirit Over Mind and Mouth

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV

* So, it's no secret that this election has brought about some stinking thinking... I am even holding back my fleshly thoughts as I type this. However, we must learn to gain control over our minds in order to govern our mouths and actions. Whatever we think and say can either line up with or go against the knowledge we have of God,  and knowing who He is... We must take captive of our thoughts in order to make them line up with His word, which will activate our faith. To be transparent,  I am a continuous work in progress with this... However, I am happy for victories in not saying what I always feel because I see some ugly and fake things daily among people who claim to connect with you or who are down right against you. Join me as we heal and move forward together in capturing the mind, which aids in dictating our words, in order to avoid blocking the truth and your blessings.

Fearlessness

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 NIV

Definitely needed this today. In everything we face, we have to fight the good fight of faith and be strong because God is our strength. When you have someone that powerful on your side,  it should help to encourage us to not be afraid.  I am praying we all remember who has our back versus what stands before us...

Fear Not; I AM is with You

John 10:10 (ESV)

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 

*Many times we allow are focus to dwell more on negativity than the positive aspects of our lives. This is a trick of the enemy to steal your peace, kill your confidence, and destroy your faith in all the possibilities and promises that God has guaranteed to provide for you. Don't allow the enemy to take away what God has placed on the inside of you, and hinder your possibilities for manifestation. Follow that desire and the peace in knowing His will shall come to pass, and the promises that are guaranteed if we trust in Him and allow His guidance to govern our lives. We have protection through God. Let's trust more in that protection rather then the allusions that are placed in front of us. We were meant to live a life outside of the norm...There is no room to circum to fear in order to gain instructions on how to get to that life. Let's pray for each other that we press in and do not miss out on opportunities.

Onset of Fear

Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

* Many times fear comes from the unknown, lack of experience, or something we have never been challenged to understand. Some of us often stall or procrastinate to avoid facing what we are called to do, or what has been placed on our hearts. Others may ignore, pretend it doesn't exist, or stick to what or who they know because they refuse to take on a challenge that can ignite growth...However, with God you can do all things (Philippians 4:13), and we must learn to believe in the possibilities behind running growing to understand and know what He has placed on the inside of you to walk in the fullness of life. Ever wonder why you stick to the same people, become defensive, or be quiet when your opinion can help? It's all out of fear...Make sure your thoughts, words, decisions, and the company you keep is governed by God and the rest will follow if you let Him lead. Don't try to change others around you to fit your needs, but allow God to change you in order for you to assist in loving others to help everyone grow.

Align Your Mind and Spirit

John 6:51 (NIV)

51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world...63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.

*In this chapter, God is discussing the importance of believing in and following Him. He also demonstrates His power by feeding the crowd with only five loaves of bread and two fish, and by walking on water. However, the major emphasis that He wants to point out today is in the word above to go along with these miracles. How many of us see God show up in our lives, but yet continue to operate in the flesh and do our own thing? We treat people poorly, participate in habitual sins, and do whatever we feel despite how God has been good to us and how He continues to show His glory. Yet we claim to believe in Him, and are even bold enough to believe for things even though our actions say otherwise. Our God is awesome and capable of all things, yet we keep looking for other outlets and betray Him by leaning to our own understanding. Today, exam what you do and say vs what you claim to believe. Does it align, or do you confess one thing and do another? There are miracles waiting around the corner for us all, but are you really in belief for them or do you secretly carry unbelief in your heart. May our spirits overtake our flesh and give life to our situations. Lord, help our unbelief.

Fearless

Psalm 27:1 (ESV)

Of David.

27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

*Many times we may find ourselves in a state of fear. Sometimes we recognize it and other times it is a hidden issue, which is the very thing that keeps us complacent. If you are experiencing a block be it mentally, physically, emotionally, ask yourself is it due to fear of change? No matter what we are facing, God is with us every step of the way. Sabotage or unwanted changes are still under the submission of His control. Today, I am praying that we let go and let God. I too plan to work on always allowing God to guide and take the wheel bc without Him I will only run into a dead end. Let's work on increasing our faith, and not have a plan of action or a backup plan that has been developed through fear over time.

Victory and Favor

2 Timothy 1:8-9 (ESV)

8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, 9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. . . .

*If you are a child of God, do not be afraid to represent Him and not fit in with the world. If the world doesn't accept you, be happy they do not and don't blame yourself. Sometimes people become upset with what they do not understand, or even what they wish they could become. It's our job as believers to help them get there, and if they aren't ready, then be a light amongst the darkness. We can be lights by sharing what we go through and declaring God's will and love. You never know who needs to hear it, or what someone else is going through... Your suffering, situation, and ability to overcome may be the very thing that brings them out. Remember knowledge is power, but only if u share it. Do not be ashamed of Him bc He wasn't ashamed when He took your punishment. Even more so, we will go through bc Christ went through... A rock must go through a process b4 it becomes a diamond...Go through declaring victory towards the enemy, and come out ready to tell the world!

All Things Are Possible

Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NIV)

¹³ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.

*God is waiting on us to give our hearts completely to Him..Hearts that are open and ready to be filled with His love, and the understanding of all the possibilities that come with His love. He wants to deliver us from the captivity of hurt and knowledge that experiences of the world have subjected us to, and show us what we were always meant to experience before we leaned to our own understanding. Let's pray for each other regarding the renewing of our minds, and that we will have open hearts towards God's ability to go above and beyond what we ask for (Ephesians 3:20) if we do our part in seeking Him.

Free at Last

Galatians 5:1 ESV

Christ has set us free for freedom. Therefore, stand firm and don't submit to the bondage of slavery again.

*This week, be free by putting Christ at the forefront of all your decisions and way of thinking. Don't allow the cares of this world, previous decisions, regret, or past thinking to take away your freedom to start over fresh. Each day is an opportunity to be in the presence of God no matter your location. Be free in walking in love, setting your mind free of regret, removing yourself from isolation, and get rid of things u pretend to be or do week after week. Be true to yourself by letting God in to free your heart and soul through renewing your mind. Life is so precious, and it is even a blessing to have the ability to change and not confirm. After all what has your own way, or walking in the slavery of how the world tells you to go, done for you? Perhaps it is free will that will allow new opportunities if you trust God and focus less on yourself and the norm.

Fearlessly Inclined to Believe and Receive

Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
Don't fear, because I am with you; don't be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will surely help you; I will hold you with my righteous strong hand.

*We have all run into times when we have been in fear, skeptical, doubtful, or just down right in disbelief. All of this is attached to fear. Sure, some people would like to believe in the possibilities of God or even in His existence, but are too afraid to let go of what they know or see to truly embrace what they claim to believe. I know because I've heard it and have been there...It's easy to become fearful, but growth is in the strength of holding on and proclaiming God's promises. God has the capability to help us through anything if we are willing to let Him in fully...That is how uou walk in the foolness of God. He has the answer if we are willing to receive it, yet fear can overshadow our thoughts and consume us with concern. This same fear is meant to distract you from remembering His promises, and what He has done for you over and over again. Now imagine His capabilities if we could fully learn to trust and live for Him. I challenge you today to look for an opportunity to shine for God by helping someone remove the darkness developed from fear. You may find that you learn what's eating you during the process....There is no power in fear, but power is in God and His capability to strengthen and deliver.

Freedom From Your Free Will

Galatians 5:13-14 (CEB)
You were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only don't let this freedom be an opportunity to indulge your selfish impulses, but serve each other through love. All the Law has been fulfilled in a single statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.

*We wake up  daily with the freedom to choose whatever we desire to do. God gave us ths ability to make our own choices, regardless to whether or not it lines up with the word. However, we have to ask ourselves if we want to suffer with just settling for God's permissible will or living through the perfect will. It's easy to settle, live a double life, accept your choices over His best, and find a quick solution out of selfishness. However, it can be trying but worth the wait to receive things or a person that is tailored to you; walk in love and think outside yourself to sacrifice for someone else; and submit completely to His will without yielding to temptations. Notice that one path helps you grow and move forward in life while the other allows complacency and a stationary lifestyle. Don't be so caught up in your own freedom to do what you please, and end up missing out on His ability to free you from your current situation.

Be Free At Last

John 8:31-32 (NIV)

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

*At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you have done or what people think and say. It only matters what God thinks and promises if we choose Him. Choosing God includes respecting and adhering to His teachings in the Bible, and not leaning on our own understanding. It is so easy to just read the word, hear it from others, or go to church. Yet, never live it or so much as apply it to your everyday life. What people fail to realize is how life is more smoother and filled with more promises if we zone in on what God is telling us and trying to show us vs what other people are doing or trying to make sense of in society. There is a world of opportunities and possibilities when we adhere to the word and it truly sets us free, while the organization of the world has designed an unorthodoxed system of compromisation and complication that is designed for failure. Even if you are a believer, you still need to be mindful of falling into the same habits, same worldly way of thinking, the trap of isolation, or the lack of dedication to grow and go deeper in the word daily. Traps are always set to get you caught up in a loop of confusion, a cycle of habitual sin, or a limited mindset that can't receive things that defy the norm. Allow God's teachings in His word to change your life today. He is always free to listen and help us...Can we take the time to set ourselves free by listening to Him?

Know Where Your Help Truly Comes From...

Psalm 3:2-6 (ESV)
Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." "Selah"  But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.  To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. "Selah"  I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.  I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side...

*As a believer, you may have heard people tell you that what you desire is fictitious or impossible. Even other Christians, who claim to be believers, have a tendency try and rob others of their hopes and dreams by trying to influence and confuse your discernment with theirs. Some may not have even grown to the status of knowing God's capabilities regardless of your age, works, or experience. It is your FAITH that sees you through, and without faith and the diligence to seek Him it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). You may even be going through a trial, and people begin to start assuming the worse before even mentioning the possibility of good coming out of it. DO NOT BE MOVED BY THESE DISTRACTIONS. These are some of the most sneaky tactics that the devil uses to try and knock us off our square, and help block our vision. It is sad that people are used as vessels in this way, so pray for them (those who are negative, know-it-alls, or MIA when u really need support), and embrace God as your shield! It is ok to cry for help because I am right there with you at this very moment, but watch who you cry to...God is your provider and can lift up your head in sorrow. Most people don't know what to say or think half of the time, but God can still use them as vessels to supply your needs. First though, we must have faith and believe in Him in order for all things to be added (Matt. 6:33). Do not be distracted by what you see and hear; instead, focus on the goal of what you want...

Prayer ALWAYS Changes Things...

Peace vs Fear

Isaiah 26:3-4

3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal...

*Even when I feel that I am facing my darkest hour, I still feel peace that comes over me because of my ability to trust in God. When that trust starts to waver, based on what I see in the natural, I immediately speak words of confidence out of my mouth to overturn the ability for the soul to become paralyzed with fear. I speak scriptures of faith that relate to my circumstance, or words that are the opposite of my current state. I may even burst into a song giving God praise, or just simply cracking open my Bible to calm me. Why am I sharing this with u? I was told to be transparent enough to let u know that we all go through moments when we second guess things due to our circumstance in the natural, which is everything but natural. However, remember even a mustard seed of faith we can move the mountain of fear (Matt. 17:20), and step back into that connective bond that brings a peace of mind and holds on to that favor with God. We have to have faith in order to please God (Hebrews 11:6), and to overcome our situations. Sometimes, all we have is God, and honestly that's all u need. Your help never came from your job, friendship, spouse, etc...Those are entities that God placed in your life to sustain u. Your real source is from the Father. As u evaluate your connection to fear vs peace, please lift your brothers and sisters up in prayer (including myself) who may feel like they are on their last leg. However, we all have all the supplies we need through God. Seek Him for peace on how to access your limitless supply.

Victory Over Exhaustion

Have u ever noticed how tired u become right before the victory? How drained u may feel right at the close of the battle? That means u are over the hump, kind of like today, and about to embark on relief. In relation to the days of the week, it's almost the weekend! So, hold on, hang in there, and give it your all...When the victory hits or the work week ends, u don't want to be thinking about what u didn't do. Instead, be able to say u gave it your all, and it was a complete TKO between u and the devil...#FightTheGoodFightOfFaith #1Timothy6:12

Hebrews 6:11-12

11 We want each of you to show this
same diligence to the very end, so
that what you hope for may be fully
realized. 12 We do not want you to
become lazy, but to imitate those
who through faith and patience
inherit what has been promised.

Fearless Love

1 John 4:18 ESV
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

*Behind every element of fear is the fear of punishment or that a negative consequence will occur...People are afraid of a negative result or outcome, which can lead to the demise of that particular area or situation. This is also what many preachers consider to be the lead in to death, which develops from demise. This could be death in your belief that whatever you are believing in is possible; death in itself; or feeling vulnerable to hurt, and leaving u the urge to reek havoc until that person "dies" to the thought of possibilities and can feel your hurt too. Don't allow the potential thought of punishment kill your ability to be susceptible to love, trust your instincts which are guided by the Holy Spirit if u invite Him in, or take away from the wisdom you have obtained to know and receive a good person or opportunity. If u are in fear, u are not perfected in love because you may not have forgiven and forgotten the hurt u have been through. U may also need more time to heal, and more time to renew your mind with God. This opens the ability to trust in supernatural possibilities and accept the promises He has for u. Don't miss out on anything because u are in fear. Fear is the devil's secret weapon that leads to complacency. You have the greatest weapon to combat it, and that is love.
