Oh, How He Loves Us

Matthew 1:23 ESV

"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel"(which means, God with us).

*God loves you so much that His son was born to not just save you, but connect with you. God understood us inside and out prior to coming to this world, but He loved us so much that He desired to be relatable to us.  Even after the resurrection and leaving the Holy Spirit, He promised to never leave us no matter what you do. I personally don't know your circumstance or heart this Christmas, but I do know that God can soften it, change things around for you, and alleviate you if you trust in Him more and follow Him. He has been my best friend since I let Him in and truly followed Him, and I wouldn't trade the connection for anything in the world. We all could stand to become closer to Him. Will you meditate on how much He is there for you this Christmas season?

God Over Everything....

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Colossians 1:17‭-‬18 NIV

God will always be before all things and people, and I will treat Him as such.  Nothing comes before Him, and He is the first true example of completion, and how to do things correctly. We must use God as our ultimate example,  and follow His lead. Therefore, if we seek God first (Matt. 6:33), He will never be second to our own mindset and desires. We must learn to put God before the items we desire, the fear we face, and the people we embrace in order to impact those areas in our lives.

Commitment

Psalms 37:5-6 (ESV)

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

*If we commit ourselves to God, our lives are brightened and all that was taken from us will be redeemed before the day is up. By choosing God, everything we aren't sure about becomes clear and the answer illuminated....We are no longer in darkness about our situations when we surrender to Him. The answer stands before us as clear as noon, and as quickly as lunch time arrives when we dedicate ourselves to God. What is it that we need to remove in order to be more dedicated? What is keeping us from hearing the answers? What do we trust in more than God's word? Ask God...

Making Way for Peace and Change

Isaiah 32:17 (NIV)

17The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

*We are promised peace and many things in the Bible, but often it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves and atmosphere for the things God has promised. For instance, peace is available to us, but it is dependent on how we conduct ourselves/who we choose to be around/ where we go/ and how we treat others. Personally speaking, God touched my heart about merry-go-rounds, and continuing to be around the same type of people, but expecting peace or different results. Sometimes you have to ask God who or what elements should be in your life to receive what you've always desired, or even how to handle things. Change can be unknowing or even uncomfortable at times, but it often works out for the better. I'm ready for some peace and something new...I'm tired of the same scenario and attitudes with  different faces or in a different location....How about you?

He Lives for Our Purpose

Psalm 107 (NIV)

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

*No matter what we are going through or how we feel at this very moment, God rose from the grave today to prove that His love endures forever. No matter what we have done, how ungrateful someone is, or how we feel at times, He still felt that we were worth the pain and suffering to give us victory over death through His everlasting, manifested love. As a matter of fact, His resurrection occurred for the purpose of delivering us from what upsets us, what burdens us, or what we think bounds us because we have an everlasting connection to immediately go to God on our own and ask for help. Jesus overcame death to put to death all of our fears, frustrations, concerns, and exploits to grant us freedom if we are willing to take it. I declare on this Resurrection Sunday, that we are free like Jesus from our grave of fears. Believe with me that we are no longer bound to a tomb of dismay, but we receive our inheritance and guidance towards His marvelous light and our purposeful pathway. Let's NOT do it our way, but God's way in order to seek and find what we were ALWAYS meant to have and achieve if we take action to believe. Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Release Fears of 2013 for Faith in 2014

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

*As the new year approaches, prepare yourself to let go of fear in order to make room for faith, which brings positive change. If you are lacking something, unable to move forward, haven't tried something that u have always desired to do, or are behind on things then it could be due to one preventative measure that holds ppl back: FEAR...People choose not to embrace things or take a stand bc they are in fear. Of course, it is not just fear in itself, but the fear of death...death of your current self or situation bc u are unsure of the unknown, which could be positive change u are hindering yourself from receiving; fear of the death of a relationship or condition u have become complacent with; or just fear of what others may think.

However, the reality is that u are still dying bc you have chosen to freeze yourself in prolonged situation that was only meant to last for a season. Don't hold yourself back any longer...let go, let God, and pray for assistance in receiving all He has for u. He is waiting for u to not just cast your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:6-7), but to let them go permanently. Life is so precious...don't further delay an opportunity that u should have taken a long time ago...If I listened to ppl and all the what ifs, I wouldn't be able to minister to you today. Let go, and let God...Happy New Year!

An Opened Mind Leads to An Opened Heart

Things to remember:

1.Whatever u believe is exactly just that...What YOU believe; it isn't deemed law, so do not criticize the thoughts and beliefs of others. If u don't understand something, that doesn't automatically make it wrong.Instead, help them understand u in order to open them up for u to understand.

2. Expect the unexpected...the greatest ppl and things come in surprise packages. The worst of things sometime appear picture perfect. Always remember that u control the paint brush though...

The End Result

Ecclesiastes 7:8

8 Better is the end of a thing than its
beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

*The end result is always the true nature or dictation of why a situation occurred, or why a person was in your life. In the beginning, we can make the mistake of embracing false hope or a person's representative...We often jump the gun, and assume the conclusion before we have actually investigated, edured, or uncovered the true nature of the situation. Sometimes you have to wait things out and be patient enough to allow the Spirit to reveal the true nature of a person or element. This keeps you from making an assumption, maneuvering things into something it was never meant to be, or allowing the pride of your intelligence to dictate a false sense of hope.

Today, I uncovered that the very element of hope and love I longed for was no more then a false sense of security that reared its selfish head. My hope of helping someone turned into a mechanism that turned on me to drain and use me. I may have learned the hard way that you should never mix unequally yoked connections, but I will hold on to my mustard seed of faith (Matt. 17:20) that I will receive the promises of true love, friendships, and connections as God wants us to have (1 Cor. 13). I will also remember to wait patiently on an answer from God regarding a connection, look out for myself as well as others, and not see things as they are...but as what they can become.

The Finished Product is Better then the Initial Result

1 Peter 4:12-13

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at
the fiery trial when it comes upon
you to test you, as though
something strange were happening
to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you
share Christ's sufferings, that you
may also rejoice and be glad when
his glory is revealed.

*Some of the most beautiful treasures have undergone fire in order to re-shape and mold them into the jewels that were always meant to be...don't be afraid of a little revamping. U are more then a conqueror, and the very element that defies the norm....

Your #1 Resource

Psalms 121: 1-2

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord , who made heaven and earth.

*When we realize and truly accept where our help comes from, then we are less likely to be moved by ppl and things. We start understanding that these are just seasons and connections in are lives that are not suppose to determine are next level, but merely placed in our lives as potential tools to get us to where God wants us to be. So, view each situation as a test, and like u would do a teacher, ask God for assistance when u don't have the answer. Treat people like the internet or a book, which can be sources where u can obtain information for your purpose. Also, view ppl as an opportunity for not just the training of your growth process, but the opportunity to help them in theirs as well. The same applies to scenarios and items; everything can use a little enhancement. You have the power to shape things and assist others in a way that has not been discovered when u know where your true help comes from, and how to tap into that divine assistance. Remember, u are the lender of all things and not the borrower. So, remove that pressure of dependency and accept the gift of giving...it can be done in more ways then one.

Harvest Expectation with a Side of Generosity

2 Cor. 9:6

Add parallel

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

New International Version (NIV)

Generosity Encouraged

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Sometimes an individual's personality is not shaped from past experiences, but rather the desire to sow the proper seeds to receive the same harvest in return...

Never Settle for Less than Your Inheritance

Galatians 5:24

24 And those who belong to Christ
Jesus have crucified the flesh with
its passions and desires.

Sometimes the very things we love, enjoy, or even may secretly desire can be the same things that hold us back and keep us from what God actually has for us. He loves us so much and gives us free will, which often gives us the choice to settle for what we think we want rather then receive the true inheritance of what we are suppose to have through HIS riches and glory. I don't know about u, but some things feel right but seem to be a little difficult to obtain...that's often God's way of telling u that it/him/her is not for u bc he is not the author of confusion or provides the incorporation of difficulty. So, the next time u experience a blockade, u want something and can't seem to have it, or u feel as though there is an issue completing something, ask the Father if what u desire is a part of His perfect will or a part of the flesh's derailment.
