Love Walk

Ephesians 4:2-3 (KJV)

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

*Think about this: On a daily basis, we are suppose to walk in love with people...Ignoring any little ignorant thing, praying for their deliverance, treating each other with love even if u want to go off, and keeping peace within ourselves and with others as we work to rectify a given situation. Now, take it a step further and think of your loved ones, the person u desire to marry, or the person u are married to and see daily. It is often easy to become lackadaisical with them, be a little harsh, or say what's on your mind because u know them and they know your ways; therefore, u feel as though u can become "comfortable" and they will just accept any old way of how u do and say things...NOT THE CASE. You still have to tighten up your love walk, even more so in this case because you want to or currently interact with this person daily. You may be working things out continuously with this individual, and let's be real: There is no giving up on family or anyone for that matter because Christ never gave up on u. So, if we can be meek, loving, and kind to a stranger then why is it hard to do the same towards those you actually know? Even more so, if u desire to be married, this is suppose to be who compliments u...So, why can't u compliment them in how u treat them? Consider your ways and how u treat others...Perhaps that is how u are treating the Father be it through neglect, force, annoyance, etc. Your relationship with God is reflected by how u treat others. So, how is your love walk going these days? Think about it...

Full Circle Relationship

The physical elements of a relationship can only satisfy u for so long, but it is the ability to be able to understand his/her mind, touch bases emotionally, and challenge each other spiritually that will make a lasting impression...Think of growing together and not just molding your bodies together...#Come2RealTalk #AskQuestions #FaithChristianCenter7:30pm-Smyrna,GA #Feb. 28Th

Hebrews 10:24-25

and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near...

Change is Desired, Not Forced

Sometimes when we think we miss someone, we are missing what we wish that individual would become and not who they have grown to be...Don't be fooled by this trick. Only God can change people, and those people have to desire the change...

Self Worth

1 Peter 2:9 (AMP) – “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”

*Sometimes we are so caught up in fulfillment ,and settling for the here and now, that we forget our own worth. We are from a royal lineage...the line of Abraham with the blood of Jesus, who values our lives to be more precious then His own...That's why He died for us. He wanted NOTHING to separate US from His love, possibilities, and the blessings He wishes to bestow on our lives. Once we are saved and decide to be obedient and live for Him, we are now called to be examples and testimonies to bring others out of darkness and into His marvelous light. However, how can u do that when u aren't aware of your own worth and the power u hold? Everytime u settle, take yourself for granted, or even treat others outside of the way God would treat them, u are showing your lack of knowledge and awareness of self worth and the worth of others. Study and remember the promises of God, and be honest with yourself. Are u living each day for God with faith and expectancy of His promises, or are u alive just to live without understanding and hoping for things already promised to u?

Bold Moves

Hebrews 4:16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need...

*If we are allowed to come boldly to the throne of God for our needs, then why can't u boldy go up to a woman that God has graciously bestowed upon your heart and ask her out on a date? Better yet, why can't women be bold enough to wait for the man of God that compliments them, rather then secretly pick and choose for themselves? If we don't have to be afraid to come to God, then we shouldn't be afraid to receive or wait on His blessings. #Discern #Patience #CarpeDiem!

What Are U Doing With Your Harvest?

An apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and neither do the creations of the Creator...If u have a calling, embrace it. Realize you are made in His image, and can do the things He once did and continues to do on Earth. The more u ignore it, the more potential for your gift to rot and remain dormant...allow yourself to be fruitful.

His Will vs Yours

No matter the distance or timing, if something is meant to be, it will happen or not happen regardless. Therefore, don't force it, but don't be afraid to enjoy it either...His will outweighs your fears, so embrace and stop trying to misplace the events of your life...

What U Should Have...Prayer and Patience

Thought: God promises to give us the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4), and supplies our needs according to His riches (Philippians 4:19); therefore, imagine what your desires and needs are...Those inner most things u fail to mention to ppl...those secrets only u and God know. Now, imagine receiving them...That just does something to me, especially when it comes to the thought of a mate. If we think we are something serious, then imagine how he/she will be! Can u imagine being fulfilled in more ways then one???!!! Now, don't imagine and accept that into reality...Can u say HOTT! ESPECIALLY, when u receive and do things the right way?! There is no 80/20 rule with God...#Reminder #Motivation

Hopeful Fulfillment

Romans 15:13 ESV
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

*Have u ever wondered if what u are hoping and desiring will ever come true? Have u ever told someone your desire and they hit you back with something like "U live in a fairytale," or "In the real world..." This element of hindrance may have caused your spirit to second guess your desire, or u may have circumed to worldly alternatives and edifications. I'm here to tell u NOT to give up on your desires, and remember the capabilities of the God we serve. If u are truly obeying God and putting Him first, there is no reason to live mediocre lives or lives dictated by the world as we know it. We are entitled to exceedingly, abundantly, and above all we ask for (Ephesians 3:20). We also have grace that abounds towards us when we are in His will (2 Corinthians 9:8). Therefore, expect the unexpected. Believe with me that it is going to happen. I know u are tired at times or look at others around u being blessed, and wonder when will it be my turn? I'm tired with u, but be happy for others and allow God to fill u with joy and peace in believing that today is your day to overcome! If He did it for them and delivered u before, He can do it again beyond your imagination. However, first make sure u are dedicated and seeking Him properly...Then all things shall be added (Matt. 6:33). Remember, God can't bless mess or come in when u haven't invited Him. Send out an invitation today!

Matters of the Heart

The motive behind why we do something, participate in activities or events, and why we connect with people speaks volumes about our intentions and whether they are of God. Many people can proclaim to do things for a worthy cause, or convince others or their mind that what u are doing is right. However, God sees your heart...The heart holds the true reason behind your motives and plans. Therefore, exam your heart and ask yourself whether u are actually operating in love and kindness...OR, do u operate in the secrecy of deceit, lies, manipulation, or the hope of something for your sole benefit? Your motive impacts your heart, and also depicts the truth and strength of your faith. Are u leaning on your own understanding and do not even know it?

1 Timothy 1:5 ESV
The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

The Strength of Encouragement

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (NIV)...

*Even on one of the most beautiful days, sometimes u can still have a bad day. Perhaps too much work was thrown at u, or you received some information u didn't like. You may have had to make a decision that u did not intend to stumble across. However, through it all, God is still faithful and with u. He is there to listen and lift us up. As a matter of fact, the verse depicts the importance of how we must be strong and stay encouraged. It is commanded of us to do so.We are His life forces on Earth that are suppose to depict His love, and provide hope to others. We are the ones who have been assigned to carry out His will. So, don't allow yourself to get out of it. If u are enjoying the sunshin of today, perhaps it is meant for u to shine light unto the dark lives of others. U never know what a person is going through, nor how low or misunderstood they feel if u aren't encouraged and strong enough to see beyond yourself.

Food for Thought

1.Kindness should never be mistaken for weakness, or the opportunity to take advantage of someone. Every selfish effort only contributes to a harvest of regret.

2.Verbalizing your thoughts, needs, wants, and desires often brings clarity and a possible solution vs silence, ignoring others, or beating around the bush depicts fear and makes room for confusion...

Choose Wisely

Today's thought for the day is meant for u to reflect on your life, and be honest with God and yourself on where u stand. We are living in the last days, and this is the year of judgment...U can't afford to be confused and unable to be used...

World vs Word:

1. World-Worry; Word-Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and thanksgiving, make your request known (Philippians 4:6).

2. World-Have 2 or 3 backup plans; Word-Seek ye first the kingdom of God for His righteousness, and all things shall be added (Matt.6:33).

3. World-Date multiple people to figure out what u want; Word-Write the vision and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2).

4. World-Hold a grudge or ignore someone; Word-Let bitterness, wrath, and slander be put away from u...forgive one another as Christ forgave u (Ephesians 4:31-31).

5. World- Give him/her a chance...they are only human, and would still make a good spouse or friend;
Word-Do not be yoked together with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14).

6. World-"I'm good, and I don't need anyone."; Word-It is not good for man to be alone..(Genesis 2:18).

7. World-U gotta try it, (sex),before u buy it;
Word-Do not arouse or awaken love before it is so desired (before an appropriate time-marriage) (Song 2:7).

WHICH SIDE OF THE TRACKS ARE U ON? How is that working for u? We are often held back because we say one thing and do another, we are lukewarm, or on the wrong side of the road...

Open Up to Let More In

Proverbs 11:24-25
There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.

*How we treat others determines what is poured back into us. If u are a person who doesn't want to be bothered with people, never helped anyone out, or didn't believe in being friendly then do not be surprised if u are commonly treated poorly. While, if u walk in love and be obedient to God in giving then u will continuously reap the positivity that u sow because that's what was given off. Now, of course treat everyone with kindness, and be led as to your given...This is how u aren't abused or used. However, u can't expect a hand that stays gripped with stinginess to be open for receiving...You don't have any room in that hand to receive! Please, also note that sowing consists of more then monetary value...There is the act of giving kindness, pouring reassurance into people, checking on someone, or maybe even something as simple as learning to properly return a text or call. Everything we do towards others impacts how we will be treated and receive our blessings, so be joyous in the opportunity to be a manifestation of God in the life of someone else. U never know how God is setting up things for u...

Test of Endurance

Revelation 14:12 ESV

Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus...

*When u are a Christian and a believer and implementer of the commandments of God, u have to make sure u stay grounded and focused in what u are saying u believe in. Don't allow yourself to be easily persuaded by what seems like a sweet deal or opportunity, but does not line up with the word and sent to cause derailment. In order to receive the desires of our heart (Psalm 37:4), we have to first know how to purify our heart and not lean on our own understanding achieving things we desire (Proverbs 3:5-6). Even if it takes a little longer then desired, we have to stand strong in our belief of God's capabilities, and not allow the situation to be prolonged because we become a little antsy. Waiting is a test in itself to see how much u depend on Him, and whether or not u truly trust Him. It also serves as edification in helping u grow, and learn to be patient while He works things out in not just your favor, but those u are connected to as well. Be strong and be patient.

Clarity Through the Holy Spirit

John 14:26-27(KJV) - 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

*It is important to pray in the Holy Spirit in order to receive the proper guidance, comfort, and lesson that needs to be implemented daily. As humans, we can only reason, rationalize, or see things as they are or how we think they will be to a certain extent. We are incapable of completely knowing the truth or reasoning behind every situation, or what is best for yourself, let alone for someone else. Therefore, go beyond your own thought process and understanding to receive the proper clarity, and God's full circle of what's best in the long run or why things happen. This is a form of receiving peace in times of trouble, clarity in times of misunderstanding, and guidance in times of questioning. To be honest with u, I would not be strong in my own circumstances or trials if it were not for praying in the Holy Spirit. You are praying divine secrets and mysteries when u pray in the Holy Spirit (1 CCorinthians 14:2). Therefore, I urge u to keep your sanity, obtain clarity, and receive the peace you deserve by speaking in tongues (The Holy Spirit) first before praying in your understood language, or ask God to give u this gift if u have never been able to do so. You are welcome to visit the Holy Spirit folder on my blog at charitycommunicationsviagod.blogspot.com to obtain more information on how to obtain your heavenly language.

Exercising Your Spirit

1 Timothy 4:7-10 (NIV)
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. 8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 9 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. 10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe...

*Today, the Holy Spirit desired to explain to u why it is important to be saved, put your trust in God, and not allow your mind to be corrupted by folklore, superstitions, and worldly conclusions. This scripture also explains why it is important to guard yourself against what u expose yourself to, and promotes your ability to evaluate your work and what causes u to be worldly vulnerable and spiritually illiterate or blind. Think about your day: How much training goes to edifying your spirit, growing in Christ, and seeking guidance from Him vs exercising, social media, working, or any other lengthy habits. Yes, u have a life and things that need to be accomplished, but how many times have we asked God what to do, how to do it, and when to do something? Did He not provide us with the lives we lead? Every prayer or moment before Him doesn't have to last a long length of time, but how many times do we pay attention to other things over acknowledging Him? In these last days, we need to be intuned with Him not just for our own wellbeing and safety, but for the safety of others. Could it be possible that u are meant to save someone from something, go deeper in your purpose, or avoid something all together yet u missed the mark bc u weren't spiritually disciplined to adhere to a warning or calling?...May growth occur for us all emotionally, mentally, physically, but most of all spiritually. God bless.

God's Appearance is Not Your Own

Romans 15:5-6
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

*We are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27); and also have access to being Christ like in not just our appearance, but our demeanor as well (1 Corinthians 2:16). Therefore, we have the ability to treat each other the way Christ would want us to be treated, and the way He wants to treat us if we allow Him to do so. However, many people believe they have to establish some other authority or presence when they walk in a room, hold a conversation with someone, or come in contact with individuals. It is not about making your personal  demeanor, opinion, or power known to others because that doesn't promote positive change in itself. It is about allowing God to work through u, and establish His presence to shift the atmosphere and help unfold the purpose of why u are in a location or around certain people. We meet no one by chance or happen to go in a location...There is a purpose for everything be it to endure in order to be a living testimony, or encourage in order to win souls to Christ. However, we must first remove self out of the way in order to be properly unified in the common purpose: bringing others to God and receiving all He has for us. How far u go in this is up to the choices u make with your lifestyle, how u treat others, how open-minded u allow yourself to be, and whether or not u pass the tests of endurance and kindness in order to go to the next level.

Food for Thought

A tangible experience often has a stronger impact then living vicariously through someone else...Have u tried God for yourself, FULLY?...

Psalm 34:8
King James Version (KJV)
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

A Way Out of No Way

Revelation 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth...

*There are several events that are happening on the news, and probably in our personal lives that may tempt u from time to time. These temptations may come in the form of aggravation leading to the desire to curse; the need to embrace some sort of narcotic, food, or alcohol base to alleviate yourself; perhaps u desire to run into the arms of someone u aren't suppose to be with, and confide in them; ask for assistance from a source that will not allow u the ability to owe no man nothing, but to love him (Romans 13:8); or their could be the temptation to slip away from God and into depression or hopelessness. BUT, hold fast to the word...even when it feels like God isn't there, He has never left. Even if all you are having are second thoughts about bad behavior, be proud that your conscience is still able to receive that gentle warning to adhere to self-control. Even if u committed indecent behavior, God is still waiting to help u and forgive. Always know that He provides u with a way out of temptation, regardless of the situation. It is up to us to hold on to His promises, and be patient. #RightThereWithYou #LiftEachOtherUpInPrayer

Irrelevant Opinions

The world would be a better place alone if we looked beyond ourselves, and what we think we want or feel is best for others. This is often irrationally based on the irrelevant opinions formed from leaning on your own understanding or trying to be in sabotage mode...

Philippians 2:3

3 Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

What Do U Meditate On?

Psalm 19:14 NIV
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

*Today is a national holiday where many communicate how they feel in many ways. The world teaches that your choice of expression often symbolizes how much you care, and often your worth is based on that form of expression. Now, let's compare that to the correct form of guidance: the use of the word. The Bible tells us love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:31). The Bible also gives us a breakdown of what is love and how to show it in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Most importantly the commandment to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind is the number one element in order to begin the proper process of walking in love(Matt. 22: 37-39). Now, ask yourself do your words and how u feel on the inside truly line up with the word, or have your actions been classified based on the world's definition. For instance the world tells us to go broke buying gifts, and return gratitude with sexual favors. God tells us to give our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him (Romans 12:1-2). The world says that u shouldn't talk to someone who doesn't talk to u, u should cop an attitude, or wait and see if that person contacts u first and does what they are "suppose" to do. The Bible tells us to do unto others as u would have them do unto u (Luke 6:31), and I'm sure most of us wouldn't like people testing, ignoring, or mistreating us. The world also tells us to give titles to individuals who were never meant to be called your friend, boyfriend, husband, wife, etc. The Bible says bad company ruins good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33) and to wait on God (Psalm 33:20-22). Your choices stem from what lies in you heart; therefore establish a closer relationship with God, be real about what u are doing or desiring, and use discernment. God says love is sincere, and u must hate what is evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

Put the Right Love In Your Heart

Most importantly, trust in God...what feels right may come your way, but what is assigned to u is even better...#Tailored #PerfectOverPermissible

True Love...

1 Peter 4:8
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sin...

*The saying "love is blind" does have some validity to it in a positive way: If u walk in love, u do not have time to judge; while walking in love, u see the best in a person regardless to the negative mistakes of their past; and when u have love, there is only the desire to help and not hurt. Like sin, all things pass away because love pushes u pass the impossible into the realm of the unstoppable...Happy Valentine's Day!

Look Out for Others As You Do Yourself

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be you thankful...

*What's interesting about this verse is how it promotes unification. You see, no matter how strong our walk with Christ may be or how we pat ourselves on the back for staying in line, there is always a brother and sister in Christ that is still growing and needs your help. There are also secular individuals that desire your help also, but we tend to forget that at times when we are doing our own personal self checks and not checking to see if we can be our brother or sister's keeper. You see, the human body must function as a whole in order to take full advantage of its capabilities. If the leg starts to malfunction, it can cripple the rest of the body and its abilities. Well, the same applies to the body of Christ. No matter how good u look to yourself, u have to check to see if your brothers and sisters are in check also...If things get out of line, u know it, and have the ability to loving edify but fail to do so, then guess whose head can end up on the chopping block with theirs? If u can only see me, myself, and I then how can u declare yourself a living sacrifice and witness of God? Remember, u are attached to others and it is not just about u. Also, be thankful that God wants us to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:31). This helps all of us take on accountability, and keep each other LOVINGLY in check. You should never be afraid of talking to your brother and sister, and u should also monitor your judgment vs uplift. If u can't handle edifying those u don't see everyday, how can u expect to properly walk in love with those u see daily or maintain a household? #Today'sDesireAndLifeChangeIsTomorrow'sResponsibility

Renewing of the Mind Includes Re-doing Your Lifestyle

2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation...

*I'm sure some of u are familiar with the above verses, especially if your church has discussed the particulars regarding being renewed through Christ. However, if u are a believer or exploring the idea, do u really know what these verses mean to u? God is giving u the ability to wipe the slate clean on every level! If u have asked God to sincerely come into your heart and save u, not only are your sins wiped away, but so are your old ways of thinking and doing things. We all are transitioning during our walk with God, and we continue to grow. Being new within this walk encompasses new possibilities of obtaining the desires of your heart; therefore, the way u thought something was going to come about or occur will be completely different from what u expected. Just because u are unable to fathom a way out, doesn't mean that all possibilities have been exhausted because through God all thing are possible (Matt. 19:26). Your way of approaching tasks on Earth, developing friendships, excelling in your career, and even dating have new possibilities and potentials that u have never experienced. I think a lot of us are desiring to be saved or have been saved, but we bring in old habits and ways of thinking into our saved life. This may include dating multiple people or keeping secrets while in a relationship; looking to excel in a career by starting from the bottom or pursuing different levels, when u may receive the the opportunity for extensive promotions immediately; or even still adhering to that hustle mentality when God promises to guide u (Prov. 3:5-6) and supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19). Let's not become trapped by our old ways, but embrace new possibilities with the evolving walk with Christ.

Open Up to be an Example

In everything u do and any type of relationship u partake in, u are meant to be a blessing to others...if u are being secretive, how can u truly let your light shine?

Matthew 10:26-28 ESV
“So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Freedom of Truth

John 8:32 ESV
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

*Many times we are unable to rectify our situations because we haven't admitted the truth to God regarding them. We go on like there is nothing wrong, as if this is the way life should happen, or we have an "out of sight out of mind" view of accepting things. You do not have to live life this way, nor do u have to allow others to know your business all the time. However, God sees your heart and your everyday lifestyle. He knows the truth whether we like to admit it or not. Therefore, be true to yourself by being honest with Him. He is waiting to order your steps, and to direct your path. Even if He does tell you to reach out to someone, don't be ashamed. There is nothing new under the sun, someone else has walked a mile in your shoes and could help, plus EVERYONE has fallen short of His glory.

Greater Is Here...Go Deeper to Find It

Psalm 119:40
How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life....

*Regardless to whether or not u have fully dedicated yourself to God, there is a longing in your spirit for understanding of your life, thought process, and how God and His will fit together in these areas as a whole. For those who are out in the world or slip in and out, I know your spirit feels as though something is missing. Even if u have been saved for a long time, I'm sure u have asked yourself or asked God, "Isn't there more to life?" Perhaps u feel like eating, working, and just the every day tasks aren't enough...Perhaps u believe u are destined for more, and wonder how or what it is like to achieve life more abundantly (Ephesians 3:20). I know I do...there is so much more to life that even goes beyond yourself and your blessings. Can u wrap your head around the ripple effect of your life being a blessing towards any and everyone u encounter or are led to? Have u invited God in to truly show u how all things are possible? (Matt. 19:26). I am learning every day to go deeper in this thought process, and to consult with God on the least important to the most important inquiries that I have. No matter what I go through, I feel kept and revelation comes through every lesson. However, don't be afraid of going deeper...That edge u feel is God telling u there is a greater calling on your life then just shopping, eating, paying bills, being in lack, or helping 1 or 2 people out. There is greatness that we need to embark on, with perseverance, particularly since this is the year of victory over death through manifested love. Are u ready to save your own life this year as well as the life of someone else? Ask God to preserve that call u feel and give u guidance to more righteousness, and stop operating in normalcy! That unction u feel today could be what saves lives tomorrow...

Sinning Isn't Winning

Romans 6:23 ESV
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*Isn't it interesting how we love free things: Free food, buy one get one free, or signs with "free until..." on them. Yet, God giving His life freely to save us from sin doesn't register with as much excitement as worldly things. Clearly this is true love given freely, which provides freedom to warn u of the cost of sin and the freedom to guide u into a life filled with promise if we choose to obey, give up our sinful lives, and follow Him whole heartedly. Yet, we can't give up habits, friendships, or forgo on certain choices to even embrace this lifestyle completely when it has been given to us freely. We are not just rewarded with eternity in Heaven, but life more abundantly on Earth as well (John 10:10), yet some of us would rather continue certain lifstyles just to appease our flesh; gain what the world views as natural; or sell our precious souls for a tweak, fix, sale, feeling, taste, touch, or opinion that can cost us everything. What good is life as u know it when u can have beyond a life u dreamed of, with even smoother transitions through trials? Yet, we still keep doing the same thing day in and day out. Or, if u are hearers of the word, u don't practice doing it because your actions and thought process is still stuck in the world. Life is so precious...don't waste it on sin when u can preserve life through the choice to allow God to manifest in it. What choice will u make today?

Double for My Trouble

We may walk a thin line in life and feel like we are at the end of our rope, but with God all things are possible (Matt.19:26...Winter Jam 2014, Atlanta).

Self Check Before Connecting

Spiritual Food for Thought: There are many people, including myself, who desire true friends and some who desire mates. However, I've seen many people who do not convey friendly etiquette. First, u have to think about if u are in isolation mode. This doesn't just include being alone, but are u isolating yourself to only a certain group of ppl? Even more so, have u had your needs met by that type of group? Now, ask yourself what personality do u betray when u are around others...Are u desiring a husband/wife/friend, but have a stuck up demeanor? Do u get a person's phone number with no intent to call or be bothered with them? Are u too afraid to act on an opportunity presented to u? Finally, did God tell u to act this way in order to obtain your connection desire? Faith without works is dead, so having faith in something without properly seeking guidance and acting on it will not get u any closer to your goal...

Proverbs 18:24
King James Version (KJV)
24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother

Treat Others the Way God Tells You To

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

*God is suppose to be our role model on how we should treat others. The love, blessings, and treatment that He displays also serves as an example. Yes, people make unnecessary mistakes and may partake in foolishness that they have been pre-warned about in the beginning. However, it is not our job to hit them with an "I told u so" attitude. This is us trying to play God, and take on the responsibility of judgment that was never our job from the beginning. We are to walk in love instead, explain to people what has occurred, and comfort them be it through physical touch or help them formulate a plan of action. First, seek God for the method of comfort. You can never go wrong with His guidance on how to handle someone, especially during their time of need, or using God as an example for how to approach people. However, be Spirit led. Do not allow your emotions to pick out the way in which u should address a person, even if u have seen that measure used in the Bible. There is a time and place for specific reactions, so allow God to determine the type during someone else's time of need.

Cast Your Concerns on HIM

When I have concerns and ask myself, "Did I really do that, eat that, try that, go there, connect with that?" I just fess up and be like "Yes, I did."  However, it is not like I can go back and make changes or add to the moment.  Therefore, there is no need to worry about it bc it is over and done with and lost in time, so realize what u did and do better from that moment forward...

And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

What Season are You Really In?

Genesis 8:22 ESV
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

*What is amazing about this verse is how it let's us know that God's guidance and blessings are always in existence...always up for the taking and to be utilized, but it is up to us to take advantage of this offer and realize which season is in occurrence and which offer is currently available to us. God says we have not because we ask not, especially with the right motives (James 4:3). Are you aware of what season you are in, and how to pray during that season? Could it be that what u desire and are praying for could be with wrong motives, or perhaps you have not prepared or sowed for what u need during this time period? Have u even asked God what time period this is for u currently? Sometimes we are struggling because we are unaware of our ability to seek clarity, or we are praying for one thing when God needs to take u through a preparation season first. His guidance and blessings never cease, but are we aware of which one is up for the taking? Sometimes a simple question can present all the clarity u need to move on and forward...

Plain Vision

At the end of the day, the more specific u are the more your needs and wants can be met. Specification is the key to happiness, while not knowing what u want leads to laziness and settling. Therefore, u can't be upset if your desires aren't fulfilled because u chose not to figure out and declare what u want...#WriteTheVision&MakeItPlain-Habakkuk 2:2 #GodWants2GiveYouYourHeart'sDesire-Psalm 37:4

A Journey of Forgiveness and Continuation

In life, I've learned to ignore the "I told u so" attitudes, and trade them in for a loving word and a "everything happened for a reason" mentality. I don't leave room for regrets, but rather reflecting time on what I learned and guidance from God on how to move forward. I also do not have time to look at how someone else messed up bc I'm too busy seeing how I can provide inspiration....When u trade in the negatives for positives, u are no longer hindering your own blessing; instead, u are reinforcing how God can trust u with greater in order to share with others...

The Vision Awaits

Habakkuk 2:3 ESV
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay...

*God's vision for our lives consists of prosperity in all angles,  and to bring no harm upon us (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants to give us the best on Earth and in Heaven, but we have to submit to His timing. He is not a man that would lie about plans to help u succeed and excel (Numbers 23:19). Everything He spoke in His word and gave u discernment to receive will come to pass, if we are obedient and patiently wait for Him to bestow favor and guidance upon us. Many times we get in a hurry, become anxious, and end up settling...Settling for things that are only His permissible will (something He allows, but it may not have been perfectly tailored for u), or we choose things outside of His will that end in heartache and hardship. It is our job to ask for guidance and wait on His perfect will, which is hand-crafted for us and is exceedingly abundant and above all u can ask for (Ephesians 3:20). I don't know about u, but I don't have time to keep settling or running into an unanointed mess. I have to get things right because not only does my life depend on it, but so does the life of others that I am suppose to impact. The same is with your life. Whenever you make a decision, it effects who God wants u to impact. Therefore, ask and wait for His vision...the vision that will bring clarity and a smooth transition that will align with His will.

Restoration by Faith

Romans 5:1-5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us...

*No matter what we are going through, trying to figure out, or waiting on revelation regarding our circumstance, we always have hope that helps activate our faith. This faith is the belief that eventually things will workout. It is what keeps u going, even if it is small like a mustard seed, u feel a slight urge to not completely give up. No matter how much or how little you know about God, the faith u are showing is the peace God has given u to keep pushing. Now, it is up to us to rejoice and believe that we will come out on the other side in a positive light. Our rejoicing is our ability to tap into His grace to lead us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. When u receive the opportunity, take the time to pray for this group and those u know or don't know regarding their ability to let hope and faith take over, and take them through into the promise of triumph. U never know who is on their last leg, or perhaps u need someone to touch and agree with u for deliverance. May we all be rightfully restored, and overcome the elements we see in order to cross over to those we have faith in and cannot see.

Casting Away Concern to Solidify Peace

John 14:27 KJV
King James Version

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth , give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid...

*The peace offered by the world is often temporary, and can come with strings attached be it a financial quick fix that often leads to more debt or an inconclusive end; a connection that is short lived and unmanageable; or unfulfillment leaving u with dissatisfaction and in search for more. God wants to remind u that He is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33); therefore, when He provides peace it is everlasting regardless to our situation or circumstance as long as u turn to Him. He is waiting for us to cast our cares upon Him, which will empower you with the ability to not be moved by anything we go through (Psalm 55:22). That fear or anxiety that we feel, whether we voice it or not, provides leeway for the devil to creep in and attach himself to our situation. Let's work on standing strong, being truly accepting to the promises of Christ, and holding on to those promises to get out of cycles and be an example for others.

Less of Me and More of You

Ecclesiastes 2:22-26 ESV
What has a man from all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun? For all his days are full of sorrow, and his work is a vexation. Even in the night his heart does not rest. This also is vanity. There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment? For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind...

*Today, I was led to give u more word to start off your week. Ask yourself what are u working for, and who do u put your trust in? Is it that bet u made about tonight's game? Are u living to only pay bills, and struggle day to day? Even more importantly, why are u struggling? God promises us life more abundantly (Ephesians 3:20), so why are u living in turmoil to only make or do the bare minimum to go through more turmoil? Perhaps it is time to evaluate if u are truly putting God first and living according to His will. Ask Him how to handle your money, what to do for your career, how to spend your leisure time, and whether or not you are cursing yourself with the words u speak. Do u even consult and seek Him first? (Matt. 6:33)...He wants to give u advice on ALL things, but u must first trust Him enough to ask for it without making the first move based on your own judgment. Perhaps u can't get ahead because u have forgotten who should be the head of your life...

The Truth Will Set You Free

1 John 1:6 ESV
If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth...

*There is no way to have a true relationship with God, but still desire the sins of this world or be overtaken by darkness. God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33); therefore, He is not going to allow u to enjoy anything that is not of Him without gently pressing on u....If u are truly trying to establish a relationship with Christ or go deeper in your current relationship, u should feel awkward if u choose to participate in something or indulge in anything that is ungodly. This is particularly if it was not given to u as an assignment to provide restoration, but rather your own private choice of indulgence to satisfy the flesh. To become closer to God, we must be honest with ourselves first in how we are conducting our lives. Are u wrapped up in something u shouldn't be a part of? Do u feel a slight tug about something u have chosen to ignore? Better yet, are u expecting deliverance but have not repented and attempted to get rid of the very thing/person that is holding u back from your blessing? In being transparent, I was instructed to pray about my husband this morning. However, God pointed out that if I am covering him in righteousness, then I need to be completely covered myself and not allow my mind to wonder about what ifs and could be. Be honest with yourself in order for God to keep it real with u on how to move forward...
