What Do U Meditate On?

Psalm 19:14 NIV
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

*Today is a national holiday where many communicate how they feel in many ways. The world teaches that your choice of expression often symbolizes how much you care, and often your worth is based on that form of expression. Now, let's compare that to the correct form of guidance: the use of the word. The Bible tells us love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:31). The Bible also gives us a breakdown of what is love and how to show it in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Most importantly the commandment to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind is the number one element in order to begin the proper process of walking in love(Matt. 22: 37-39). Now, ask yourself do your words and how u feel on the inside truly line up with the word, or have your actions been classified based on the world's definition. For instance the world tells us to go broke buying gifts, and return gratitude with sexual favors. God tells us to give our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him (Romans 12:1-2). The world says that u shouldn't talk to someone who doesn't talk to u, u should cop an attitude, or wait and see if that person contacts u first and does what they are "suppose" to do. The Bible tells us to do unto others as u would have them do unto u (Luke 6:31), and I'm sure most of us wouldn't like people testing, ignoring, or mistreating us. The world also tells us to give titles to individuals who were never meant to be called your friend, boyfriend, husband, wife, etc. The Bible says bad company ruins good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33) and to wait on God (Psalm 33:20-22). Your choices stem from what lies in you heart; therefore establish a closer relationship with God, be real about what u are doing or desiring, and use discernment. God says love is sincere, and u must hate what is evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).
