Exercising Your Spirit

1 Timothy 4:7-10 (NIV)
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. 8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 9 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. 10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe...

*Today, the Holy Spirit desired to explain to u why it is important to be saved, put your trust in God, and not allow your mind to be corrupted by folklore, superstitions, and worldly conclusions. This scripture also explains why it is important to guard yourself against what u expose yourself to, and promotes your ability to evaluate your work and what causes u to be worldly vulnerable and spiritually illiterate or blind. Think about your day: How much training goes to edifying your spirit, growing in Christ, and seeking guidance from Him vs exercising, social media, working, or any other lengthy habits. Yes, u have a life and things that need to be accomplished, but how many times have we asked God what to do, how to do it, and when to do something? Did He not provide us with the lives we lead? Every prayer or moment before Him doesn't have to last a long length of time, but how many times do we pay attention to other things over acknowledging Him? In these last days, we need to be intuned with Him not just for our own wellbeing and safety, but for the safety of others. Could it be possible that u are meant to save someone from something, go deeper in your purpose, or avoid something all together yet u missed the mark bc u weren't spiritually disciplined to adhere to a warning or calling?...May growth occur for us all emotionally, mentally, physically, but most of all spiritually. God bless.
