Regardless and Through it All...

“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Luke 15:21‭-‬24 NIV

"A love difficult to comprehend and more unsettling, a love we are unable to restrain. The flesh, the broken part of our humanity, longs to be in command, longs to be able to identify finite lines of understanding so that we can master that understanding, feel safe, and be in control. The love of this father is anything but safe and predictable."
...May we learn to love without trying to control or manipulate it...May we experience and give out the love that God placed in our hearts that's full of freedom in order to see pass everything, and love regardless of the circumstances or the logic. How many times do we claim to love, but yet try to control it or protect ourselves from what's waiting to burst out?  You may even have that isolated love that's only shared with those you know.. We will never experience the freedom and possibilities of true love if we control it our way, instead of letting God have His way...
