Leaving Behind Evil for My Good

Psalm 37:27-29 ESV
Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever. For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.

*God wants to provide us with any and everything we have lost, plus seven times the amount should the thief (devil) be found (Proverbs 6:31). The Lord loves to give us justice for the things we have lost, and provide things we are suppose to gain. However, if we are the cause of the loss or involved in behavior or activities that go against His will, then YOU are the thief and the main person responsible for the cut off of your blessings and protection. Don't allow the enemy to invade your mind, and cause you to trust in something that isn't accurate. Take a moment to evaluate yourself, your connections, your love life, and your routines to see if they line up with something God would respect and value. Even a babe in Christ knows when they are doing wrong and involved in things that are unethical from a spiritual perspective. Are you cutting off your ability to receive an inheritance because of your lifestyle, or due to making excuses for things you know are wrong? No sin is greater then the next be it lying, cheating, homosexuality, going off on people, cursing, infidelity, adultery, drunkenness, etc. It makes a difference when we are trying to do the right thing in Christ vs being stagnant in sin. God will never leave you nor forsake you regardless of your situation (Deuteronomy 31:8). However, we must first refuse to forsake Him by choosing to do the right things to inherit a life of betterment.
