Galatians 5:13 ESV
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
*Jesus paid the ultimate price for our freedom...The freedom to be in fellowship with Him, seek Him for yourself, build a relationship with Him, and be able to go to Heaven once u are saved or re-dedicate yourself to live a life of holiness. However, some take this opportunity as one to feed the flesh...Perhaps you are testing the waters to see how close u can get as close as possible to sin without being in it, or maybe u feel like u can habitually sin because you are able to repent. You may even use God's blessings as a way to exploit people, or perhaps you are operating in pride by flaunting what He gave u. All these things and more are considered walking in the flesh, and you are trying to take advantage of God. God made u, and He is aware of every trick in the book. Therefore, walk in righteousness, and do not try to take advantage of someone who is waiting to give u the advantage if you live right and obey. You can't out think or out smart God. He was smart enough to die and rise again for the things to come, in order for you to live completely for Him today!
