Proverbs 31: 25-26 (AMP) *Characteristics of women, and things to observe for men*
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]!
26 She opens her mouth in skillful and godly Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness [giving counsel and instruction].
*The Holy Spirit has prompted me to discuss a few characteristics of a Godly woman today. These are two that the Father would like to draw attention to...Notice that a virtuous woman exudes confidence in verse 25. She doesn't need to prove herself to anyone, but God. As a matter of fact, her confidence stems from her faith in God. Therefore, she does not have anxiety in regards to her family, be it drama within your blood line or church family, because she knows how to have confidence in God's capabilities to iron things out and put it in His hands. There is no need to worry, nor show off her capabilities to others. Her purpose in Him speaks humbly for itself. A virtuous woman is also eloquent and skillful with her words. She always walks in love, allows God to place a guard over her mouth, and speaks words of kindness even when emphasizing a major point. There isn't a sharp tongue, shade, ignorance, ridicule, or gossip that pours from her. She speaks words of kindness even to those who are not fond of her because she knows the power in sowing seeds, and in words. She also knows how to seek clarification and discernment before making an assumption. Women of God, we must learn how to take on ALL elements of being a virtuous woman, especially when it comes to the treatment of each other. What u learn to overcome today will determine what u are entrusted with tomorrow. MEN of God, be aware of these qualities as u pursue or grow with your mate. Also learn to compliment them. Today's choice determines the balance of tomorrow.
