Destined for Greatness

Hebrews 3:1-6 (ESV)

Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God's house. For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses--as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.) Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

*The ultimate example of an individual who shows His faithfulness through the implementation of His calling is Jesus, and we are suppose to do our best to follow His example. Each of us has a calling on our lives like Jesus that only we can fulfill, and we also have people we are meant to reach out to and impact. Our ability to focus on His word, be guided, and our faithfulness in carrying out His word will determine the impact and success rate of your calling. Are you living out your purpose, or do you wake up daily and just push through life? Have you prayed and asked God about your calling, or do you let the world determine your daily focus? You are unique and special, and only you can fulfill what you were destined to do...
