Selfish Metamorphasis

Holy Spirit Thought: Selfishness derives from one's inability to be self conscious of anyone else's needs other than their own...They are incapable of knowing their self worth bc they are too busy chasing after self-fulfillment, which only leaves them in a self-centered circle alone. Please, recognize your ability to self engage in the lives and activities of others, not to show yourself as self righteous, but as a selfless individual that cares about the desires of others...this how u become self aware of God's plan for your life and how it can impact others beyond yourself... ;-)

Jeremiah 29:11
King James Version (KJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

The Shaping and Molding of Your Faith

1 Peter 1:7 KJV
(King James Version)
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth , though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ...

*We are under trial daily...Our actions depict our beliefs. Whether this is an accurate portrait u are painting depends on whether u truly follow what u believe. Everyday we encounter different trials, be it thoughts that creep up in our minds, or physical elements outside of the body that tamper with our belief in God's promises for our lives, and what we know (based on His word) is the truth. However, people often have a hard time grasping and applying biblical elements to life as they know it. U may have heard or may have even said yourself that "we operate in the real world," or perhaps u are having spiritual warfare in being patient in waiting and obeying steps to walk in God's perfect will for your life..Leading to the possibility of settling for what is permissible. Please know these mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional battles are elements that are shaping and molding your faith...These are crafty concerns that are giving u the option to trust and Him to go to the next level, or fall into life as u know it and sadly choose to accept. Do not perish under fire. Hold on tight to the elements of faith, which consist of hope, love, and action to move forward even when u don't understand or do not believe in its existence. It is better to trust in Him and try all doors of possibility that He gives u, then be gripped with fear and be complacent. That way, when God shows up and shows out all praise and honor will only belong to Him because grace is sufficient and far more powerful then any human reliance.

#WalkByFaithAndNotBySight...U can only see so far, but God has full capability to survey and see all.

Righteousness Overpowers Forever

Romans 5:20-21(ESV)
Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

*Where negativity dwells, there is also the increase of grace to allow alleviation. Grace is always more powerful then an evil attempt or sin, and God is always working things out for our good if we choose to love Him (Romans 8:28). Therefore, never be concerned about whether evil will overtake your situation or overshadow positivity. God offers grace to take care of even the darkest of situations and sin that may occur in our lives, but we must first seek righteousness...As the scripture says, grace also MIGHT reign through righteousness. Notice, that there is an option and the option is up to bc you have free choice to allow it to reign, or carry on with life as you know it. However, do u really want to limit yourself to the things u know and have experienced, or would u like the all knowing God to provide you many options? U decide...your limitations are based on your choices, and your choices determine whether God is completely in your situations or out....

We All Desire, But Can U Honor?

Luke 6:31
Do to others as you would have them do to you.

*We have heard this scripture quoted numerous times, but do we truly understand and know what it means? Everyday, we desire or maybe even expect specific treatment. We think that people should treat us a certain way or be gleeful about hearing from us, but ask yourself why do u feel that way? Why is there such a high expectation on how someone should treat or want to interact with u if u are not treating others with that same attitude? Also, it is our job to communicate our expectations to others. People do not know where u are coming from, or understand how u have been raised or done things unless u convey that information to them. Lastly, have u ever evaluated how u come off to people? Perhaps u desire to convey one attitude, but your behavior and communication may say another. There is a lot to consider when u are desiring or even demanding certain behavior from individuals. So, the next time u think of how u want to be treated and what u desire in any connection, ask yourself if u are honoring those desires for others.

Protection at Its Finest

Isaiah 41:10  fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

*Despite the things we get ourselves into, God still provides protection and gives us His righteousness. He does not chastise us or talk about us, and is still willing to offer leniency no matter what type of mess we decided to get ourselves into. Sure, there are consequences that can occur, but He is willing to be our knight in shining armor to save us from ourselves. He is also willing to give us strength during our tough or tempting times. I experienced that today: Despite my ignorance to remain safe or avoid temptation to do what I knew was best, He still covered me. God gave me strength to still praise Him despite my disobedience and the hardship I suffered. We should also remember that when u go through something and still encounter the ability to pray and/or worship Him, our strength has excelled to the next level bc we didn't allow anger and confusion to overshadow our circumstance. No matter what it looks like or how u feel u are to blame, don't be afraid to seek Him. Of course seek Him first before u implement things and all things shall be added (Matt. 6:33), but if u have gone past that point He is still waiting to protect and restore just due to the simple fact that u did not yield to fear. Our God is so awesome!

Wisdom Wellness

Proverbs 4:6-7
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.  Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding...

*Getting wisdom from God saves us a lot of time, money, frustration, and effort that we would otherwise endure or waste if it were not for His guidance. Think about it: How many times have u felt something deep inside u that has tried to warn u not to do something, or tell u to give the idea a second glance? Yet, u went ahead and did it anyway....Think about what it cost u, and how did u feel afterwards? U may have even found yourself saying that if only u would have went with your first mind...Well, that "first mind," hesitation, or second glance was the Holy Spirit trying to warn u. Also, the Holy Spirit can try to give u wisdom to do and accept good things as well. Do u ever wish you would have taken an opportunity, told someone how u felt, or moved forward with an idea? That too can be a prompting from the Holy Spirit. Know that when u pray, which I hope u choose to, u can ask God for guidance and wisdom about anything and anyone. He loves u so much, that He cares about every little or big aspect of your life. However, it is up to us to invite Him in to assist us. No topic is too big or small be it what u should wear to whether or not u should take a medication. U will feel that release of information and peace in guidance that will order your steps. Sometimes asking will cause u to have to make changes and remove things...It may even cost u life as u knew it, but guess what? These people and things will be replaced with greater ones, giving u the life u were always suppose to have before you were caught in the devil's complacent box. With wisdom comes the opportunity to take action, but u must be willing and open to move forward for God's sake. We have not because we ask not (James 4:2-3), so why aren't u asking for wisdom and guidance?

Speak and It Shall Be...

Psalms 141:3 (NIV)

Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips...

*People are so use to give their opinion, advice, or recommendation...It often comes out naturally, especially if we think we are enlightening and/or helping someone. However, we need to be more in tune as to what should be said if anything at all. Remember, an opinion is just what it implies: an opinion...Better known as a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge (as listed in Webster's Dictionary). Therefore, it is often not necessary to give your opinion even when asked. Remember, your thoughts are not those of the Father neither are your ways (Isaiah 55:8); therefore, how can u speak on something u do not have full knowledge of and have not been led to speak on by God? Perhaps He has a plan that u never dreamed of, but u putting your two cents in it could be the icing on the cake toward's ruin. Remember, there is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Therefore, if u are going to speak at all, speak life into the situation. After all, you have the power to make changes based on what u say...Why not speak with a positive force? Has being negative ever gotten u where u want to really be in life?
