What Can Man Do to Me?

Hebrews 13:6 ESV

6 So we can confidently say,

“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”

*Many times we are concerned with the opinion of others whether we want to admit it or not. We often do things we don't want to do, hang around people that do not help us grow, and hide things to avoid the opinions. However, at the end of the day, who is this really hurting? That would be you...You avoid shouting from the mountain tops about a blessing you've inherited; you are the one who ends up wasting your time; or you are the one that inhibits your situation to receive and grow because you are concerned with catering to others, rather then working towards pursuing the next level and being touched by God. Why do we do this? What can man do to you that allows you to stay in this type of bondage? At the end of the day, who cares what others think of you if you have the approval of God?
