What Do You Dwell In

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord , "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Psalms 91:1-2, 7 ESV

*Today's Thought: No matter what you say or face, you should remain in peace because you know you have God's protection. If you allow God to come in and shelter you from all possibilities, and learn to let go of your own thoughts, then you will always experience the shadow of His guidance and cannot go wrong. Trust your spirit...not your instincts.

Guiding Light

Isaiah 26:9

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

ESV

*When ppl in the world are busy trying to find fault in others, it is our job as believers to depict God's love while guiding people to redemption. No one needs a constant slap in the face for their mistakes, but they do need guidance and love to prompt the heart to change. How are we depicting that sort of guidance? Helping to elevate others in turn helps to elevate yourself bc what you sow is what you reap. As a believer, ppl will reach out to your light because they long for truth no matter how long they have been in darkness. Will you give it to them, or dim your light due to selfishness or to fit in?

His Covenant and Promise

Deuteronomy 7:9English Standard Version (ESV)

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

*In order to bring changes into our lives, we must make God our life and not just a part of it. By loving Him and making His word the way we think, act, and feel then results will occur that align with His will and your desires...

God's the Motivator

Philippians 3:13-14

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

ESV

*I will continue to push for despite how I feel, what I see, or even what I don't see. Faithfulness is staying loyal to the process, and faith is the belief in the promise.

Love Leads in Order to Succeed

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. -Galatians 5:22-23 KJV

*May we apply these during all aspects of life, and with ppl of all walks of life whether we are familiar with them or not. May we also learn to focus on the positive, and see the good in one another in order to love first then move forward in the fruits. Notice the order, and how you have to have love before anything else.

Strong Roots in Weakness

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Colossians 2:6-7 KJV

*When we learn to become more rooted and grounded in Him, we do not circum as quickly to temptation and we remember our worth vs what we could settle for...Although we may grow weary, our faith still holds on to the promise even when logic isn't sure of the outcome. Even when you have those weak moments, being rooted in Him will keep us from throwing in the towel. We gain strength in our weakness to continue the good fight of faith, especially when you have had enough and failure is no longer an option. The root in Him today generates hope for tomorrow...#Motivation2NotGiveUp #ThereIsNothing2GoBack2

I'm a Living Witness

1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV) Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

*People often believe that the older you are, the more life you've experienced and you have more to share with others. That can be true, but young people go through things as well and should serve as living testimonies to help others. As a young person or even if you feel young, it is not our job to just take from people and look for empathy. We are meant to encourage people through love, and not look down on them. We are also meant to share our mistakes. We are called to exercise our wisdom, and share our experiences no matter our age while representing God. If you know better, than do better and share with others to help people heal or not make the same mistakes as we did time and time again. It's not about age as it is about taking action, and being a living testimony for God.
