Points of Power: Sunday Message of Michelle Butler- "Are You a Good Fighter"

It is always a pleasure to hear Michelle speak, especially when it hits home with several points that are on time for me:

1. Do not be tempted to be ashamed...salvation is what carries u through (Personal Reference from Romans 10: 8-11)...I have been tempted to be ashamed of the fact that one moment I declare victory over something, and then the next it HAS snow balled back in to the same issue that I thought I had been delivered from...However, this is just the time to become MORE AGGRESSIVE as a soldier in God's army, (1 Timothy 6:12),because in the end I will be victorious if I fight the good fight of faith knowing that I have the power to win each battle and not be taken out.

2. Talk 2 That Thang- I don't care what it looks like...Open up your mouth and start speaking the opposite of your circumstance while u are charging towards victory (1 Samuel 17:42). A closed mouth won't get fed, or be able to create the atmosphere of victory either...#UHaveWhatUSay

3. Faith does not operate on a time limit or time hold...You were NEVER meant to serve time. Time was meant to serve u, so call it into existence NOW...NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1). The law of faith overtook the law of time ( e.g. Mark 7: 25-29).

People, the fight we are in as believers should get better and better like a boxing match or a good football blowout by your favorite team! Don't become caught in cycles that hinder your chances to reach victory, cause u to be down for the count bc u have given up, continue in a looping cycle, or cause u to be in chill mode bc u are just trying to run out the clock. Hit the devil with your best shot every moment of the fight! If no one can mess with u and yours, then how do u think God feels about His people...IJS.

Faulty Connections

Proverbs 13:20-25 (NIV)
20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. 21 Misfortune pursues the sinner, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.

*Notice how the nature of your companionship also impacts the nature of your success. To excel you have to put God first, and surround yourself with company that is looking to excel beyond more then a quick fix, leaning on their own understanding, or a hustle just to barely make it. U need the correct individuals that not only influence u, but are willing to seek God with u and push u towards your goals and have your best interest at heart. Ever notice how some people applaud u in the spotlight, but u later find out that they do not have your best interest at heart? These are the very individuals that God tries to warn us about. In due season, He will bless u with the right friendships and connections. However, we must consult with Him about the company u keep and the choices in connections that u choose to make. After all, He is your ultimate connection, and most dedicated friend. In a world filled with dead-in opportunities, u do not have time for minor set backs because u chose the wrong individuals to be around. True friends and connections help u grow in life, and strive for more then the average good time. Be prosperous both in spirit and through the correct company God tells u to keep. Prosperity starts with your surroundings including those who u allow in it.

Something New...

Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring; forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert...

*Sometimes we ask God for things, but in the same breath limit or doubt His power. For instance, u are aware that He created all the mysteries of life including the brightness of the sun, the wonders of the workings within the human body, and the the simplistic notion of day and night's ability to transition. Yet, we may ask God to help us, but formulate a plan B or C causing us to lean on our own understanding. That is not how God works! He is the CREATOR, which means He can create something out of nothing. He can make the impossible, possible if we let go and believe!  While the devil is only a duplicator, so do u want him to duplicate your past situations? The more u think about something or try to maneuver things, the more u are taking on God's role, and allowing the devil to come in. (Not a good idea, especially since He is all knowing.) He is the author and finisher, so allow Him to write the pages to a new story that u have never experienced. However, with every new advancement comes new experiences and new requirements of u. Be open to allowing Him to guide u while u are obedient at the same time, but be willing to experience something u have never seen or felt before. It's not YOUR will, but His. How far does your imagination take u bc He is able to do exceedingly more then that (Ephesians 3:20).

Loving God's Goodness

Love sees pass imperfections, while helping the person develop a sense of direction... For what is really important and should matter... Like the compliments u receive, and don't forget to enjoy those endless moments of chatter. Love helps to bring a means to an end...of a life of feeling alone or being in limbo friend. Guess that's how God must have felt...Every time He looked at us when His heart would melt...because we chose Him over sin. That means that we all win...the ability to feel evidence of His life that He gave. We are so blessed to be born and again and saved! So, fall in love with the one who can supply all your needs. For He is the one who gave His life for your soul to succeed. #LoveHim1stAlways2MakeRoom2LoveOthers #EarlyMorningRhymingPraise

What's Hindering Your Ability 2 Love?

If u are having an issue loving others, please know that u are also having an issue with God. For those are His children that u frown upon, judge, or discuss behind their backs which in turn serves as a potential weed that can spoil your harvest. How can u love God, but give the stank face to your brothers and sisters in Christ? It isn't always a cup of tea and everyone doesn't have to be your bff, but to respect others is to respect God. Perhaps if u are having an issue with others, then it is time to examine your relationship with Him. Remove Yourself From Isolation

Isolation Cancels Out Love's Edification

Always remember that as u work on your love walk and learn to live in a Godly fashion, there is strength in numbers. Isolation only provokes selfishness and domination because u are unable to receive new information, there is a lack of growth that occurs because u are limited to leaning on your own understanding (even if u are reading the word), and you limit God's capability to bring blessings to u because He uses others as vessels for delivery. So, next time u feel as though u don't want to be bothered, disapprove of transparency, or chastise elements of expression with other individuals u should think of how u have chosen to limit yourself on a lonelier path that cannot adhere to development or unification for your own good...

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says: Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Proverbs 27 reads: Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of one's friend springs from his earnest counsel. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Prov. 27:9 & 17).

The Walk of Humility and Love

1 John 3:18-23 (NIV)
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight...

*Today, the Holy Spirit felt the need to elaborate on how to love and search your own heart regarding your love walk. It's amazing how merciful God is, but He still requires humility on our behalf...We must come to Him with an open mind like a child's, and be open to guidance as well as lecturing. Then, we must expand on the lecture by not just being hearers and those who speak the word and love amongst ourselves and others, but be doers of the word to show God's love through our actions. This, in turn, causes humility and maybe perhaps persecution because u know how u should treat others or view them through God's eyes, but perhaps u weren't doing that. However, God's mercy covers u because He sees u trying if u are truly making an effort. He also knows your intentions, and is willing to assist u along the way. For those who have mastered the love walk, u are able to present yourself boldly to God ensuring Him that u kept His commandment to love, and how u are ready to go to the next level. This is your ability to ask of Him whatever u desire because u have showed yourself worthy of approval, and able to receive the desires of your heart. So, are u ready to put self aside in this process? Would u like to expound and be approved for your vocation and next assignment, or will u allow pride to keep u in the land of complacency and ill will? With that, brings harsher judgment...How will you measure up?
