Obligational Access

Philippians 2:4 ESV
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

*God desires us to be selfless in nature. It is our duty as believers to take interest in the needs of others, which sows a seed for others to take interest in us. Many times you may have confessed or heard others express in their own way that we are our brother's/sister's keeper, but yet there is a blind eye turned when a person needs assistance, motivation, or just something as simple as a kind word. The saying, "Every little bit helps," is truly accurate when it comes to providing love. This is not just an obligation as a believer, but a privilege to make a positive impact on behalf of God's kingdom. Who wants to be a part of a group who is selfish and doesn't take interest in anyone, but themselves and those only relatable to them? Sometimes God presses on us to be examples through compassion and through accessibility. How can we ever expect to gain or receive anything if close ourselves off to life as we know it? #BeLed
