Going in the Right Direction

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psalms 119:105 NKJV

*God always makes sure we do not stumble, or travel in the wrong direction if we just trust Him. Even when I wonder whether or not I am still going in the right direction, I have to remember to stop allowing confusion to be a distraction and follow His light. I'm so thankful for God's guidance, even when I am unsure of the destination or more arrival time.

Seeing is NOT Believing

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” John 11:25‭-‬26‭, ‬36‭-‬44 NKJV

*Jesus wept because of their unbelief...Not because he was sad. Even when things seem like they are over, what do you believe? Do you believe what is promised or what you see??

God Has NOT Forgotten

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “Blessed be he of the Lord , who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!” And Naomi said to her, “This man is a relation of ours, one of our close relatives.” Ruth 2:20 NKJV

*God has not forgotten about you...He sees, loves, and never forgets. No matter what we face, or how long we have to face it, God always has a plan of deliverance. Just keeping praying, listening, believing, and waiting and He will come. Don't let longevity and longsuffering cause you to veer from the course and go your own way. You will never know what you could have had by choosing for yourself...

Read the Entire Chapter-What are You Running From?

Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied. The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. “This,” said the Lord , “is so that they may believe that the Lord , the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

Exodus 4:2‭-‬5 NIV

*We have the tools that can aid us in God's will and purpose for our lives. We just have to be willing to use them,  and not be complacent. Many times people are so in fear, or are too busy dwelling on what they don't have, that they don't see what God is willing to do for you or what He has placed in front of you. Don't be more reliant on things and people outside of His will, more so than stepping out on faith. We are more than what the trap of the comfort from complacency. What are you giving into, settling for, or running from vs what God wants you to do?

Let Go, Let God... Again

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Proverbs 3:5 NIV

*One of the areas that I keep pursuing in different ways is my career change. I even recently began to do things I use to do by letting it take up my time, but then I realized that I am not of this world. I have been gifted with favor and intelligence, and I know how to sell myself. Why am I going to spend hours in front of a computer like I'm of this world, and run after something when I can seek God and cut the worldly process out? Instead of pouring yourself into something your way, ask God what He is trying to show you and tell you. How can you do it His way? Think about the things you have been blessed with by God... Did you have to do everything like people in the world, and be by the book? Not completely... You may have followed some procedures, but the manifestation was something that only God could do in less time than what leaning to how people do things on their own could do. Let's work on not going by steps or procedures that are like everyone else, and ask God what to do based on the solution He has tailored for you. We've wasted enough time. You'll be glad you let Him in...

Instructions Save Time

Proverbs 19:20 (NIV)
Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.

*Many people do not mind listening to advice or teachings given by God be it through a pastor, or an individual that was sent by God to you. However, utilizing the advice seems to be where the disconnect takes place. It's easy to read and enjoy the word,  but applying it to everyday life can be difficult for some. Think about it: How many times have you or someone you know said "amen" in church (meaning "so be it"), yet you or that person goes out into the world and begins to worry, suffer, date whoever they choose and not who God sends, drink, curse, fix up your own concoction of how you are going to make it, and do other things that God hasn't given you the green light on? This is why people go around in the same old circle, stay on the same path, and never progress as they should because you only LISTENED to the advice, but didn't adhere to God's instruction on how to apply the word and advice to your own life. Rather then embrace progression or uncover a solid solution, people often justify staying in mess because they are afraid of change or put the idea of change on the back burner since it currently doesn't make sense....Of course it won't because you haven't BEGUN to follow and implement the instructions God gave you. As always remember that a situation is prolonged not because God wants us to stew in our mess, but because you chose to sit there. Some things take time, but examine if you are on your timing or His...

Time and Place for All

Food for Thought: If we could just realize that our desires are like seasons, we would know that they will soon come to pass. However, u must prepare for the elements, be aware that the weather is capable of changing, and accept the fact that some temperatures last longer then others. Perhaps if we could grasp this concept, then we would be able to understand that all things come in due time, but time is an element of circumstance that always moves forward and never stops. #TrustInGod'sSeasonalTiming #Revelation

The Vision Awaits

Habakkuk 2:3 ESV
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay...

*God's vision for our lives consists of prosperity in all angles,  and to bring no harm upon us (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants to give us the best on Earth and in Heaven, but we have to submit to His timing. He is not a man that would lie about plans to help u succeed and excel (Numbers 23:19). Everything He spoke in His word and gave u discernment to receive will come to pass, if we are obedient and patiently wait for Him to bestow favor and guidance upon us. Many times we get in a hurry, become anxious, and end up settling...Settling for things that are only His permissible will (something He allows, but it may not have been perfectly tailored for u), or we choose things outside of His will that end in heartache and hardship. It is our job to ask for guidance and wait on His perfect will, which is hand-crafted for us and is exceedingly abundant and above all u can ask for (Ephesians 3:20). I don't know about u, but I don't have time to keep settling or running into an unanointed mess. I have to get things right because not only does my life depend on it, but so does the life of others that I am suppose to impact. The same is with your life. Whenever you make a decision, it effects who God wants u to impact. Therefore, ask and wait for His vision...the vision that will bring clarity and a smooth transition that will align with His will.
